About: I love animals, and nothing makes me happier than being around them. Currently we have one cat who is almost 4. I have always had dogs,’my last being a boxer and before that 2 shitzus, and a Rottweiler. Our previous 2 cats lived to Be 19 & 20 and those senior years I will always recall fondly despite the health challenges and worry that came along with them. I work in pharmacy and am comfortable with those pets who have medical needs and able to administer medication or give injections and do blood sugar testing. I am used to walking big hyper dogs and reactive dogs. I have been to puppy school and obedience classes a well a basic agility classe. I am comfortable with deaf or hand signal trained animals. I am physically fit and active and can be as active or passive as your pet needs in terms of exercise requirements. My dog loved Snapchat and reading books together as well as long walks at short hills or playing at the beach. He decided when to walk, when to run and if our walk was long, or brisk, short or sniffy. While I am not ready to get another dog of my own just yet, I miss the companionship and love having the opportunity to enjoy your pet while you enjoy your days away. I am home every evening & weekend. I work Monday-Friday only between 8-4 and am able to pop home twice a day for pee and walk/ play breaks. I work very close to home. I have a petcam and am able to have eyes on your pet even when I am not physically present. Primarily I offer boarding Friday afternoon to Sunday night but am happy to offer longer stays if your pet is able to be left alone for several hours and that is within your comfort zone. As a rule I will board only one dog at a time, unless You have more than one. I offer a Fully fenced secure backyard & a relaxed Comfortable crate-free home. I am able to accommodate your pets unique and special personality and individual needs. Making your pet feel at home and comfortable and relaxed while away from are my top priorities. I offer a wading pool for those who love water and enrichment toys and a snuffle mat for the treat motivated types. My home is across the road from a park full of big shady trees so are able to get out on the hottest of days, and it is quite sheltered from the wind on those cold blustery winter ones. I offer beach outings or trail walks for our day stayers and overnight visitors based on yours and your pets comfort levels and preferences. I am able to provide brisk walks or runs for the high energy types and am happy to accommodate a slower paced stimulating sniffy walk or stick hunt. I can to accommodate those who love car rides or shopping . While vacationing with me, My home is their home and I aim to make every pets stay cation or day with me as worry and stress free as possible for you and them. I am happy to provide photo or video updates by text or WhatsApp. I can share our walk route with Apple Fitness. The more information you can tell me about your pets nature and quirks the better. I can generally offer extra early or late drop offs and pickups and am able to arrange a visit with you and your pet to preview my home before your first stay.

I work full time during the week, so it’s best if you’re looking for a weekday stay that your dog is able to comfortably stay home for an entire work day. We’d go on a walk in the morning and then do some off leash play time, yard time & walks in the evening. In my home, I prefer that unfamiliar/unknown dogs are crate-trained (you provide the crate) to ensure your dogs’ safety while I am out of the house for work. Otherwise, I let my dog & any visitors roam the house while they can be supervised.
