“This was our first time using Rover and quite glad we gave it a try and met Barbie! Our 16 yo cat can be a challenge--to say the least. He requires twice a day injections and he will fight pretty much anyone but me. Barbie came in and not only made friends with Sphinx (after he warmed up to her), but was able to give him his shots. She was fabulous with him. Kept him company, got him to purr, sent us updates every visit with pictures. I am so grateful to have found Rover and her!”

“I highly recommend Sam. She was absolutely fantastic dropping in to take care of my 4 cats, including administering the one cat's daily inhaler for asthma. Sam was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and thorough in letting me know how everyone was doing. Sam made my babies and myself very comfortable and confident in being very well taken care of. I look forward to having Sam back in future!”

About: I have been fostering dogs for the past 2 and a half years. Animals are a true passion of mine. I am experienced will all breeds. I have also taken dog training classes. I work most nights. So I am available during the day to check on your pets during the day while you are at work. I understand the feeling it’s great leaving them alone all day. I’m here to help. I care for all pets as they are my own. I love meeting new dogs cats and other animals as well. Pets are truly family members
“Lauren’s the best. She’s dependable, careful, thoughtful, and so good with animals. I’ve come home to really upset babies before, after either leaving them at boarding or with friends or a sitter, but this was the longest I’ve ever left them and they were so happy and healthy when I got home. That says it all.”
About: I’ve always loved animals. I had two Golden Retrievers and three cats who were a huge part of my life. They’ve all passed over the last few years, and while I’m not ready for new pets of my own just yet, I’d love to care for yours. I have a soft spot for Golden Retrievers and could really use one to love right now — but no matter the breed, I’ll treat your pet like family. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for. I have a full time job Monday- Thursday. I can be available for drop ins on those evenings if needed. Most Thursdays I’m available after 2. I have off Friday- Sunday and am available for several drop ins and walks When your pet is with me I will treat them as my own. I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to learn their quirks, preferences, and routines. My goal is to make them feel at home while you’re away, giving you peace of mind and your pet a new friend they can trust.
“Emily's attention to detail, as well as her efficiency, were beyond my expectation. She not only performed tasks as requested, but also helped set up/program an automatic feeder and a fountain that I struggled to figure out. Her communication with me during my vacay kept me up to date on my kitties well-being... and allowed me to enjoy myself knowing my boys were very well cared for. Highly recommend her.”

About: I have grown up around animals, as I live on a farm and we have always had dogs or cats as pets. I am very flexible as I work part time at a cafe. I am willing to drive and to take your dog to parks, on walks or hikes or runs, and even the beach if they please. I am currently raising a German Shorthaired Pointer of my own and she has become my whole world. I always feel guilty leaving her home alone during the day or when I am busy so I'd love nothing more than being able to help someone else out when they need someone to check in or relieve their dog. I am willing to work on training and obedience if that is something you are interested in.
“Jenna was fabulous! I loved receiving her photos and updates, which she sent immediately after each visit. I so appreciated that she voluntarily adjusted the time of her first visit, when I mentioned a change in my departure time. When I got home after several days away, my cat was happy to see me, but not at all anxious or distressed, which really speaks to the care she received from Jenna. Based on the pictures, my cat seems to love her. I’ll definitely use her again!”

“We are so pleased with the care that Nikki took with our German Shepherds! Our dogs were extremely well cared for and were very happy to have her play with them. Roeder and Roxy got lots of exercise and had fun with her. We had no worries or concerns, and very much appreciated the photos and consistent communication during our time away. We look forward to having Nikki come visit our dogs in the future. You are the best, Nikki!”

“Laura was incredible! During our meet-and-greet, she almost blew right by me (in the nicest way) in favor of meeting our Sadie. It is clear how much she loves dogs and Sadie (who is very skidding) warmed up to her easily. Laura communicated frequently to share photos and anecdotes while we were away. It was such a relief knowing Sadie felt safe and comfortable. I would give Laura 6 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cat since 19. I also had them in the home I grew up in. However, I have also cared for pregnant mommas of both types. Including their babies once born. Are you at work and need a check in / potty break? Dog needs a walk? Vacation time!! Need a babysitter. I’m here for those. Currently not working so I have plenty of time take care of any furbabies that need me. Within my availability depending on my travel dates. I can help out in any basic animal needs so you can feel less worried or in a rush to get home. In my home I can care for your animal in and outside. I do prefer no crates unless in “heat” while another animal is here. No pregnancies on my watch. I do require to know what they are allowed to do in the house normally and what outside for consistency. Travel to your home I ask what specifically you require along with the normal amount of attention any animal would want. And Same here about what’s allowed and not.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and grew up with both dogs and horses, which helped me develop a strong understanding of animal behavior, routines, and individual needs. I also raised my own mid-sized dog from puppyhood and have hands-on experience with leash manners, house training, structured walks, and maintaining consistent schedules. I offer dog walking and drop-ins daily, and boarding and daycare on the weekends. I’m available for regular afternoon walks and visits and have a consistent weekday schedule (off at 3:30pm), allowing me to show up reliably and on time. I’m happy to do solo walks or small paired walks with my own friendly dog, depending on your pet’s comfort level and preferences. For dogs staying in my home, I live in a full house with a large yard and limit care to dogs from one household at a time to ensure plenty of individual attention. Walks can range from relaxed neighborhood strolls to longer hikes, and I always provide detailed updates and photos after each visit. My priority is dependable care, clear communication, and making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for—whether it’s for a quick walk or an extended stay.
About: Hello, I have 20+ years of pet experience. Currently I have a beautiful bluetick coonhound, a sphynx and two well loved barn cats. I have had the pleaser of caring for everything from reptiles, domestic animals, to farm animals such as cows and horses. I have a passion for getting outside on trails and I love having a furry friend by my side. Whether it’s a quick stop in, pet sitting or a walk Im happy to help. Your pets care and happiness is my top priority! I am currently working but have a flexible schedule that I can stop in during the days as needed. I’m happy to work around your schedule as much as I can. I do have a hound in my home who is pet friendly but I do not have a fenced yard. For pet sitting I’m happy to come to your home unless it’s discussed prior for in home boarding. When boarding in my home I just ask that your pet is pet and kid friendly, house trained and/or crate trained incase I have to leave the house for any reason. My dog is friendly with other animal but I definitely want to be as safe and cautious as possible when bringing another animal into our home.

About: I've fostered and trained 14 puppies until they found their forever homes, with organizations like R.A.R.E Rescue and Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. I especially love teaching puppies tricks, such as "sit," "spin," "come here," I can teach them to recognize their names, and I can potty and crate train as well. I used to volunteer at the Nashville Humane Society walking and socializing dogs and cats, and I have experience taking care of animals with special needs or special medical instructions. I love taking pictures of cute moments and will make sure any animal staying with me is loved and cared for! I've had both cats, dogs, and a snake as pets, and I have experience petsitting other animals for neighbors such as different reptiles, ferrets, and bunnies, so I'm definitely capable of taking care of any animal with specific instructions. I am self-employed and work from home, so pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I have flexible hours and can be available for last minute requests. I also have a car to swing by at any time to take dogs on walks throughout the day or even drive to a dog park. I just moved to New York from Tennessee, so I'm a little new to the area. If you have any special requests, I'd love to help out in any way I can!
