“This was our first time using Rover and quite glad we gave it a try and met Barbie! Our 16 yo cat can be a challenge--to say the least. He requires twice a day injections and he will fight pretty much anyone but me. Barbie came in and not only made friends with Sphinx (after he warmed up to her), but was able to give him his shots. She was fabulous with him. Kept him company, got him to purr, sent us updates every visit with pictures. I am so grateful to have found Rover and her!”

About: Dogs must be dog friendly as we have a young, neutered very active 65lb male! He is not dominant/or aggressive but he is definitely ready to play. No small dogs unfortunately. I have owned, rescued and fostered dogs for over 25 years. My dogs have always been my heart. I have been around medium to large breeds, but I'm comfortable with small breeds also. Unfortunately our 60lb young, male may be far too rough for a dog under 25 lbs. I also adore cats, although I've never owned one. I can't have cats inside my home..but I am happy to care for/feed at your home during a drop in visit. Your dog will be treated as if they are my own! Your dog must be able to coincide with other dogs while in our care. We have a young male, neutered boy who loves to play and loves other dogs. I'm home the entire time your dog is in my care, and if I did need to run out for an errand, I will check with you as to how you prefer your pet to be safely alone. Our home is temperature regulated, the energy is calm and we have a great property for exercise or lounging by the lake. Our neighbor's dogs do come onto our property periodically, so please let me know if this is a problem. Your pet's stay will be far more comfortable than any luxury style suite or commercial boarding facility. They will have my full attention and TLC throughout the day, with plenty of outside time! I will keep in contact via text and phone the entire time I have your pet in my care, while sharing photos. I know and understand the anxiety a pet owner has while being away from their pet. I watch the way a person treats their pets as I think it says a lot about who they are! I do have 2 older children, one lives with me. Both of my kids have grown up with animals and adore them. I usually work in the afternoon so i would be available to care for your pets for at least a half hour before or after work. For the time being, I have a completely open schedule, and am free to visit your pets anytime you would like me to be there! I can care for any type of animal, small, big, feathered, scaled, furry, etc.! I am extremely careful when working in other peoples' homes, I know how nerve-racking it can be! I will care for each and every animal to the best of my abilities, making sure every animal receives the love and care they deserve. When I am watching your animals, you don't have to worry! I can promise they will be in the best hands possible!
About: I’ve been working with all kinds of animals ever since I have been I little kid. I grew up with pet sitting and dog walking jobs! I love spending time with animals while also being able to help someone! I am currently on summer vacation so I have a lot of time! I have a pretty flexible schedule with not many things that could affect this. I have over 12 acres of land where your pet can run around and never get bored! We have a lot of space and dog toys available!
About: I have been taking care of dogs as an adult for the past 15 years. Currently, I have a yorkie and shepherd mix!! I love dogs and I have helped out family and friends with their doggies too .. don’t leave out the cats love them too .. I have two they think they are the queen and king of the household. I can walk, feed, bathe, brush and play with any size dog!! I can take care of puppies to seniors! I can take care of cats or kittens, feed them, brush, or change kitty litter! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cat since 19. I also had them in the home I grew up in. However, I have also cared for pregnant mommas of both types. Including their babies once born. Are you at work and need a check in / potty break? Dog needs a walk? Vacation time!! Need a babysitter. I’m here for those. Currently not working so I have plenty of time take care of any furbabies that need me. Within my availability depending on my travel dates. I can help out in any basic animal needs so you can feel less worried or in a rush to get home. In my home I can care for your animal in and outside. I do prefer no crates unless in “heat” while another animal is here. No pregnancies on my watch. I do require to know what they are allowed to do in the house normally and what outside for consistency. Travel to your home I ask what specifically you require along with the normal amount of attention any animal would want. And Same here about what’s allowed and not.
About: I’ve retired from running a large cat rescue organization where I acquired an accumulation of 30+ years devoted to loving, caring and doting on literally thousands of cats and kittens. If regular medical care is needed I am able to give pills, insulin, and SubQ fluids. I have a comprehensive understanding of the feline spirit so frightened or grumpy cats do not discourage me from providing loving care. I’m happy to send daily updates and pictures of your cat to ensure that you know your baby is experiencing his or her own mini-vacation filled with baby talk and unparalleled spoiling. I’m retired and have full availability and flexibility to provide care according to your cat or dog’s schedule. Keeping your fur-kid on his or her routine is paramount to the care I provide. I understand the importance of ensuring your cat’s safety with the proper opening and closing of entrance doors so your baby does not run outside. Litterboxes will be scooped on each visit. Fresh water and clean food bowls are a “must do”. Happy to bring in newspapers from the driveway and mail to keep your home looking lived-in.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, always have one(or more) around the house, while also volunteering at the Heart of Niagara Animal Shelter on multiple occasions. I’m currently working part-time over summer break, so I am available at least 3-4 days a week, and always available after 3 in the afternoon. I frequently walk my two dogs, both adolescent labs. They require lots of playtime in order to sleep at night, so I’ll have your pup nice and tired when they get back to you.
About: I take care of my parents dog when they go on vacation, which is very often. I feed him and walk him 2 times a day. I usually work in the afternoon so i would be available to care for your pets for at least a half hour before or after work. My schedule is revolving so please inquire my weekly availability I will offer unconditional love to your family pet. Make sure to feed/water fresh. I will make sure they have gone out adequately and frequently as needed.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and they are one of my favorite animals. I have watched and walked families dogs for a long time and i’ve never had an issue and they can always rely on me! I am a student at Hilbert College and I work part time at American Eagle. I have a lot of availability these days so I have plenty of time to fit your animals needs into my schedule! I have an electric fence for my 2 dogs, they have a decent sized backyard and love to run around. They are super sweet but they don’t require a crate.
About: I have personally owned and loved dogs since I was a child. All of them were rescues and ranged in size from sweet 30 pounders to 120 giant pounds of love. There is nothing like the unconditional love they bring to a family. I always observed that regular walks made our dogs, and myself as well, happier and healthier. At one point we had two dogs which was double the pleasure. Sadly, our circumstances no longer allow for us to own a pup of our own and I very much miss those daily walks together.
