About: I have worked in a vet clinic for the past nine years because of my love for animals. I previously volunteered at the Edmonton Humane Society for five years. I am a long time dog and cat owner. I recently retired from a vet clinic and have an abundance of time to spend with your pet(s). I can never get enough time with animals. I provided socialization and enrichment at the Edmonton Humane Society which required walking dogs of all shapes and sizes and differing personalities. At the vet clinic I have learned to deal with nervous animals.
“I really enjoyed having Joy as a pet sitter this weekend. She came over and spent the whole evening for both nights here at the house. She cleaned the kitty litter box and fed the cats. She made sure the water was fresh and she followed up as soon as she knew I was home to make sure everything was OK. They strongly recommend her and I would certainly invite her to pet sit for us again. Both of my cats seemed very relaxed when I got home.”

About: I have years of pet care experience, not only from my own pets, but from taking care of my friends and family’s animals. I have experience in cat sitting, dog sitting (including puppies) and taking care of bigger dogs. I am patient and well versed in pet care knowledge. Although I am working full time, I am committed to taking time for your pet! I normally work in the afternoon, so if you need someone for a 6 am walk, I’m your girl! I also am available at night, so if your pup needs someone to play with at 9 pm before bed, I am a perfect fit. I am available most weekends, at anytime. I have a fenced yard and a friendly, shy lab mix and a cat. Both are good with other animals, although my cat might need a minute or two to warm up to his new friend!
