About: I have grown up with a number of medium breeds and large breed sport and working dogs. I rescued an abused presa canario which I raised from 2 years to 10 years. I am not shy with large intact males as I have lots of experience with reassurance, consistency, obedience and dominance as well as recent experience dog sitting and caring for long term two gun dog hound breeds which I love their drive and energy! I have the patience and tolerance for some of the attitude and energy levels of those breeds. They made me fall in love with bird and hunting breed dogs even more! I have had a few dogs as puppies so I do have experience with the basic obedience and training skills. I have experience with medications, injections and wound care for animals as well as 15 years as a registered nurse for caring for humans! I am practiced with nail trimming with large dogs with anxiety behaviours. I enjoy and am comfortable with puppies and senior dog care! My nursing background has made me unbothered by messes and sickness which is helpful in caring for puppies and senior doggies! I genuinely love dogs and most animals I find alot of joy in caring for others and animals 😊 I am currently on a leave from nursing and am looking to find joyful and some financial support through working with great hounds and pups I am a registered nurse with a live se in goodstanding, I have cared for people and pets with the utmost respect and love! I am looking to walk dogs mainly but am also available for drop ins and house pet sitting if it aligns with my life. I am able to control the dogs through walking (preventing them from jumping, waking right beside me, pulling etc) pets seem to love me and I create an immediate bond with them. I am available most of the time to look after your pet. If I am working with other animals I will schedule it in to fit your needs. I spend time with them and many pee breaks. Make sure there is water, toys and food when needed. A short walk if required upon visits.

Bosko was not aggressive, but he did growl and tried to act tough around other male dogs. He was subjected to dozens of dogs in our house over the years of dog sitting on Rover and he never hurt, nor attacked another dog. Bosko loved to play with smaller dogs and was very kind and gentle with them, even if they knipped at him, or bit at him. About: I’ve housesat for family friends for years and now enjoy it with my own dog Zara! We live an active lifestyle and enjoy having an extra buddy or two join us! Zara is a great teacher to puppies learning how to be obedient dogs :) we know how to wind down at the end of the day for cuddles and treats. Zara eats twice a day, with a larger meal at night. She often eats frozen raw items like chicken feet, treats through out the day. We walk in the mornings, have an active walk/play/train, eat dinner and rest, and walk before bed. Our days are centred around Zara’s high energy level. I have always had a love for animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats.
