She identified what behaviour Benny needs to work on (learning to relax and calm on his own) and is helping him to achieve this. She’s absolutely wonderful. Benny loves it there!”

Living abroad the past 4.5 years, I have fostered a variety of animals (prominently dogs), for a non profit animal rescue. My pets are used to animals coming and going from our house. I would consider taking a dog or two for care at our house.

About: I have had dogs all of my life. And I've had cats until recently. They make your life complete. I would love to be able to baby your animal. I am retired. My schedule is very flexible. I love taking dogs for a nice long walks and we have some beautiful trails in the area that I live in. Animals are part of your family. I have a fenced yard and an enclosed utility right away in the back where a lot of dogs can run but that would be your choice

I follow your instructions closely, keep to their routine, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐾 I’m at home enough to give pets the care they need without rushing. My own dog’s walks, feeding, and playtime are already part of my day, so it’s easy to include another pet in that routine. 🦮 I follow the care instructions provided and keep the environment calm and familiar for the pet. I pay attention to their comfort level and adjust as needed so they feel at ease.

About: I’d love to care for your pup with walks, visits, or overnight hang-outs! I work from home most of the time (setting my own schedule for days in the office) and will be able to spend tons of time with your pup with very few and flexible exceptions. Dogs who are well behaved, relaxed, and mellow are my favourite, but I love pups who have more energy as long as they listen really well and are gentle and kind :) We can go for walks in our quiet and safe neighbourhood and in the huge field outside our front door, and we can hangout together in our paved and closed off backyard! We are pretty mellow people and love having a pup around to walk and adventure with and to snuggle and chill with. I do not take dogs who do not walk well on a leash (unrelenting pulling is a no-go, but they also don’t have to be perfect or beside me the whole time - they can certainly sniff and explore and enjoy themselves), who are loud (consistent barking or whining), who have destructive separation anxiety, or who are aggressive with or have issues with other dogs or people (reactivity). If you’re in need of a sitter for a longer duration, it’s best if your dog would be comfortable in an office environment where other dogs may be present. It’s easier to accommodate longer stays if I can bring them with me to work, though I am able to work from home any time and certainly over shorter stays. Safety is my top priority followed closely by having fun! When outside I’ll keep your dog on a leash unless we are hanging out together in our closed off backyard.
