About: I've raised and cared for pets my entire life. Whether it's my best friend's diabetic, blind pug or a rambunctious and energy filled bully. I was fortunate to take formal training with my own dog in Calgary, with a company based in dog psychology and pack mentality. It opened up an incredible world and has given me the confidence to have deep and meaningful connections with dogs from all walks of life. I have shared my life with many cats, and currently have two. I appreciate their love, boundaries, and unique personalities. Non verbal cues and body language are everything, meeting your animal at the pace they set. I work full time but can easily do early morning and later afternoon visits, noon visits, evenings, and weekends. I can potentially keep your dog overnight if you are away but would need to meet them first, as I do have two cats in my home who deserve to be comfortable in their own space. I can follow your routine to the best of my schedule and ability. I always walk on leash. I do not have a fenced yard currently but would prefer to be outside with them when they need to use the bathroom anyway so I can monitor their surroundings and therefore their comfort in an unfamiliar environment.

About: I have had many different pets over the years, including small animals, reptiles, birds and fish, as well as some smaller farm animals and cats and dogs of course. I have spent a lot of time rescuing and rehabilitating them. I spend a lot of my free time reserching different husbandry ideas as well as following the story's from veterinarians. I went to University to study wildlife conservation but do to a car accident only completed the ecology portion. Bonus, I am very good with plants. I am currently unemployed due to the business I was working for shutting down, and so I have alot of free time. I will be looking for new employment and will update this once I have found something. I am very quiet and enjoy spending time at home. Even if I find a job I will still be available before and after work. I am very good at following instructions and sticking to a routine. I am used to doing morning and night time chores, be it feeding or walking or any other care animals may need. If certain animals require more i am happy to do so. I have taken care of many babies that needed feeding every 2 hours. I listen and pay attention to what pets are asking for.

While my apartment unfortunately doesn’t allow pets for boarding, I’m happy to provide care in your home anywhere from Wallace to the Amherst area. I’m also available for check-ins before and after work, though daytime visits are limited unless you’re located close to Wallace.
