Bhoyasa and Avinash have done amazing jobs taking care of my beagle who happens to have separation anxiety. They watched him, cared for him and entertained him for almost 3 weeks and I couldn't be more pleased with how attentively they followed my care instructions for him. They showed him the love he needed and great flexibility in their scheduling in my absence. Absolutely recommend.

We are so grateful to have found Danielle on Rover. From the first interaction we knew we found someone special to care for our pup. Danielle is so sweet and caring and you can tell she just adores animals. She asked us numerous questions before she took Mango to make sure she knew exactly his needs. She sent us updates throughout the weekend with pictures and really reassured us that Mango was in good hands. There is no doubt that Danielle will be our go to going forward for our babying needs. We absolutely love her and so does Mango❤️

We left our little pug Elizabeth with Karthikeyan for 2 nights and couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was super flexible, incredibly quick to respond, and kept us updated with lots of photos and videos (even without us asking). Beth got along really well with his dogs, and it’s clear that his whole family genuinely loves dogs. She looked so comfortable and happy there… she didn’t even want to leave! Highly recommend!

About: I have owned dogs all my life, from small breads to large breeds. I have always had a passion for dogs, they just make life so much better! I have looked after several dogs over the years. I have a yard, dog toys, dog beds and dog bowls. I will only take 1 dog at a time or multiple dogs from the same family. I have a tenant downstairs, so I am unable to take excessive barkers. All dogs in my care must be great with children :) I am a mom of two and work a fully remote job. I am home almost all day, every day. I have a yard for your dog(s) to get their zoomies out :) I will treat your pet like they are my own. I will provide lots of love, cuddles and play. I know every dog has their own personality and I will be patient and respect their limits to make them as comfortable as possible

About: Hi! I’ve been taking care of pets and animals of all kinds ever since I was a teenager who wanted to be a vet (I’m not!). I’ve worked in a vet clinic, boarding facility and on a horse farm. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have a soft spot for senior fur-friends. I’m comfortable giving meds, grooming and with other special needs. I typically work from home one day during the week and am close enough to come home during the day at lunch for outside breaks. We live on a couple of acres and have a 6 year old, extremely friendly, lab and 2 year old cat at home. The yard is not fenced, so it would be leash walks for any visitors. Depending on the comfort level and habits of the dog, visiting fur-friends would be crated when no one is home.

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 20 years, with Shih tzus being a special part of my life since I was 20. After recently losing our beloved dog, I wanted to continue sharing my love for animals, which led my son and I to begin volunteering at the SPCA, where we enjoy walking dogs, playing with cats, and helping animals feel loved and cared for. We are an active, organized, and reliable family who believes pets are part of the family. We love providing lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and individualized care based on each pet’s personality and needs. My son has a natural love for animals and wanted to take on this challenge as a way to learn responsibility while doing something he truly enjoys. All care is parent-supervised, and I will always ensure your pet is treated with patience, kindness, and respect. We especially enjoy caring for small dogs but are also comfortable with calm, well-mannered larger dogs. We offer drop-in visits, walks, overnight boarding and daycare services, and we look forward to making your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work a regular daytime schedule Monday to Friday, but I am available for pet care on evenings, and most weekends. I plan my schedule carefully so that any pets in my care receive the time, attention, and affection they deserve. My son and I enjoy spending our free time outdoors, walking, and spending time with animals, making pet care a fun and meaningful part of our week. We are reliable, organized, and committed to providing a safe, loving experience for every pet we care for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide calm, caring, and reliable pet care while respecting each animal’s unique personality and routine. With over 20 years of dog care experience and ongoing SPCA volunteer work, I understand the importance of patience, trust, and gentle handling. I follow owner instructions carefully and treat every pet as if they were my own. My son is involved as a supervised helper and shares my love for animals. We are a family who values kindness, responsibility, and creating a safe, positive experience for every pet in our care.

About: Hi! I'm Meg, and I'm a dog-loving Shediac local who adores giving pups a fun, safe place to stay while their humans enjoy the beach. I'm just five minutes from Parlee Beach, making it easy for vacationers to relax while their dog enjoys a little getaway of their own. I care for all breeds, seniors, special needs-dogs, and high-energy personalities. I provide plenty of enrichment through games, structured walks, and supervised outdoor play. If you're planning a longer vacation away from home, I also provide boarding services so you can enjoy your time away. During your vacation, I'll provide daily updates and photos of your pup so you can rest assured that they're having just as much fun as you are! I have been relied upon in the past to watch family and friends' dogs of all ages and sizes, including administering of medication, feeding, and bathing. I only ever take on one dog at a time, ensuring your pup gets all the attention they need over the course of their stay. My six year old sheepadoodle, Arlo, is friendly and easygoing with other dogs, but I can keep pups separate if needed so everyone feels comfortable. With beach and trail access right nearby, your dog gets thoughtful activity, one-on-one attention, and a fun, relaxed environment while you enjoy your ocean day. Pet care is already woven right into my daily routine. I work part-time from home, so I'm around throughout the day to give your dog steady attention and plenty of activity. My own six-year old sheepadoodle, Arlo, keeps me on a great schedule - we do structured daily walks, trail adventures, fetch sessions, and supervised outdoor play. Visiting dogs simply fold into that rhythm, getting thoughtful engagement, calm downtime, and consistent routines. Whether your dog loves high-energy play or prefers gentle company, I make sure their day feels balanced, safe, and genuinely cared for. Creating a safe and comfortable environment is the heart of how I care for dogs in my home. Dogs in my care join a calm, structured routine alongside my own dog, Arlo, a friendly and easygoing six-year old sheepadoodle. I tailor each stay to your dog's personality and comfort level - with quiet rest spaces, supervised outdoor play, enrichment activities, and the option to keep dogs separate whenever needed. My home is set up for predictable routines, gentle engagement, and lots of one-on-one attention. For walking services, I pick dogs up directly from their homes and follow their established routines to keep them feeling secure. Walks are structured, purposeful, and enriched with lots of sniffing opportunities and calm guidance. Whether a dog is staying with me in my home for an afternoon, a few days, or joining me for a walk, my focus is always the same: safety, trust, and a relaxed environment where every dog feels supported and genuinely cared for - perfect for dogs who need a little extra reassurance while travelling!

We had an excellent experience with Luc! From the very beginning, he was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our dog as if he was his own. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for, and it was obvious he received plenty of attention and affection. We truly appreciated the professionalism and kindness throughout the entire experience. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
