Caring for your family like my own
I've raised and cared for pets my entire life. Whether it's my best friend's diabetic, blind pug or a rambunctious and energy filled bully. I was fortunate to take formal training with my own dog in Calgary, with a company based in dog psychology and pack mentality. It opened up an incredible world and has given me the confidence to have deep and meaningful connections with dogs from all walks of life. I have shared my life with many cats, and currently have two. I appreciate their love, boundaries, and unique personalities. Non verbal cues and body language are everything, meeting your animal at the pace they set.

Lisa was a *dream^ pet sitter. We were so reassured knowing that our elderly cat (who has health issues and can be very frail at times) was in her capable and caring hands. If our cat could leave a review, we know it would be a full 5 stars as well. This is the first time we were able to leave our cat for a number of days and she *didn’t* get depressed/incredibly sick in our absence. She looked so happy, healthy and actually glowing when we got back home! Proof of Lisa’s excellent care. (She also sent us daily updates and went above and beyond what we asked for. 10/10 would recommend working with her and will ask her to look after our Sepia again if she’s available. ❤️)
Lisa accepted a last minute request to check in on our senior dog. She was very friendly and immediately connected with Skipper and understood his limitations. Everything went very smoothly.
I had an extremely last minute request, and Lisa was unbelievable. Communicative, asked helpful questions, and was extraordinarily trustworthy. I came home from my trip a bit early and saw the excitement in both my dogs when they saw her, so it was very obvious they had a great time with Lisa. I am super grateful that she was able to come hang out with my pups while I was away for a few days. I will definitely be contacting her again for any future help with the dogs. Can't thank you enough for your care and consideration for Odin and Lily. It was a pleasure meeting you in person as well. 💜

Schedule
I work full time but can easily do early morning and later afternoon visits, noon visits, evenings, and weekends. I can potentially keep your dog overnight if you are away but would need to meet them first, as I do have two cats in my home who deserve to be comfortable in their own space.

Safety, trust & environment
I can follow your routine to the best of my schedule and ability. I always walk on leash. I do not have a fenced yard currently but would prefer to be outside with them when they need to use the bathroom anyway so I can monitor their surroundings and therefore their comfort in an unfamiliar environment.
Pets
A typical day
I try to match the energy of the animal. Energy and body language is how they communicate. So if you have a high energy dog we will walk or hike depending on their fitness level, use treats to get them using their noses which is a grounding exercise for animals, play tug of war or throw a ball- all based on owner preference. Kitties typically I would play with their favourite toys or calm down time with snuggles. my maine coon likes to go for supervised walks around the yard so it's again specific to what the owner prefers.
