About: Hi! I’ve been taking care of pets and animals of all kinds ever since I was a teenager who wanted to be a vet (I’m not!). I’ve worked in a vet clinic, boarding facility and on a horse farm. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have a soft spot for senior fur-friends. I’m comfortable giving meds, grooming and with other special needs. I typically work from home one day during the week and am close enough to come home during the day at lunch for outside breaks. We live on a couple of acres and have a 6 year old, extremely friendly, lab and 2 year old cat at home. The yard is not fenced, so it would be leash walks for any visitors. Depending on the comfort level and habits of the dog, visiting fur-friends would be crated when no one is home.
“We had an excellent experience with Luc! From the very beginning, he was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our dog as if he was his own. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for, and it was obvious he received plenty of attention and affection. We truly appreciated the professionalism and kindness throughout the entire experience. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

After the first couple of days our Diva made herself right at home. We could see from the daily updates and pictures that she was happy in her environment. I would not hesitate to recommend Kaitlyn and will definitely be a repeat client.”

“Lisa was a *dream^ pet sitter. We were so reassured knowing that our elderly cat (who has health issues and can be very frail at times) was in her capable and caring hands. If our cat could leave a review, we know it would be a full 5 stars as well. This is the first time we were able to leave our cat for a number of days and she *didn’t* get depressed/incredibly sick in our absence. She looked so happy, healthy and actually glowing when we got back home! Proof of Lisa’s excellent care. (She also sent us daily updates and went above and beyond what we asked for. 10/10 would recommend working with her and will ask her to look after our Sepia again if she’s available. ❤️)”

“Kristina was so attentive with Lia she had lots of fun. Took pictures and videos to send to me to show how she is doing. The big field allows my dog to run around and she has a long leash like 200ft to use as well. Very quick to Respond and caring, I will definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Sophie has been a great host to our dog while we were oit for a day trip. We received tue occasional picture and message throughout the day to assure us that our little doggy was still alive and well. :) Her own dog was incredibly friendly and I’m sure a good buddy for the day. We’ll definitely consider re-using Sophie’s services again next time we need it.”

“Amanda took great care of our anxious pup! She was very kind and caring, and sent lots of photos during the day. She even accommodated us being a little bit late for pickup. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

Super friendly and highly recommend 👌”

“Thanks so much Jessica for looking after Jolene! She was so excited to come back and and seemed to have a great time. Also appreciate your flexibility on timing on such short notice!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our dog has pretty significant separation anxiety, so we were understandably nervous about leaving him. From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding of his needs. She took the time to make him feel comfortable, gave him lots of attention and reassurance, and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout his stay. We reached out last minute with a change of plans, and she was so accommodating and flexible. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about him and treated him like one of her own. When we picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Knowing he was in such compassionate and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and truly wonderful with dogs, even those with separation anxiety, I can't recommend her highly enough. We would absolutely book with her again without hesitation!”

About: Canine first aid valid until March 2027. I grew up having cats and dogs and am always the first to volunteer to pet sit; which lead to having a friend's Australian Shepherd stay with us for month and when he went home I signed up for Rover. It has been an absolute joy helping people with their pet care needs that I'm now walking and sitting as well as training to be able to groom dogs as well. One of the biggest perks or being self employed is that I make my own schedule and can work from anywhere. It give me the flexibility to make sure your furry friend is well taken care of Our house manager ( Ayla, our oldest cat) has put her foot down and made it none she will not tolerate dogs in our home. That being said I'm happy to come to your place sitting anywhere from a half day to 2 weeks. I don't take dogs to dog parks, I believe in the rather safe than sorry philosophy when it comes to caring for animals. This is the same reason I keep them on leash. I do have a couple of 50 foot leads so they can run and explore while always being in eye sight
About: Throughout my entire life, dogs have been an huge part of my family. From my childhood companion, a Newfoundlander, to my beloved golden retriever who lived until 11 1/2 years old, and now my faithful dog, Allie, I have been immersed in the world of canine companionship. I've dedicated myself to training these dogs, teaching them to understand both verbal commands and hand signals, fostering clear communication and understanding. My experience extends to caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, each one cherished and loved in their own unique way. With a fenced-in yard providing a safe haven for play and exercise, I ensure that any dog under my care receives the attention and affection they deserve. When your dog is in my care, they would be cared for as my own. I work from home full-time so will be available to attend to your dogs needs. I am able to walk them before 10 AM and after 6 PM during the week. I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to be safe, to play in and get fresh air. In the summertime I do have air-conditioning so your dog will be comfortable. If your dog likes water I also have a baby pool for them to dip their toes in or lay in to cool down.

About: I've raised and cared for pets my entire life. Whether it's my best friend's diabetic, blind pug or a rambunctious and energy filled bully. I was fortunate to take formal training with my own dog in Calgary, with a company based in dog psychology and pack mentality. It opened up an incredible world and has given me the confidence to have deep and meaningful connections with dogs from all walks of life. I have shared my life with many cats, and currently have two. I appreciate their love, boundaries, and unique personalities. Non verbal cues and body language are everything, meeting your animal at the pace they set. I work full time but can easily do early morning and later afternoon visits, noon visits, evenings, and weekends. I can potentially keep your dog overnight if you are away but would need to meet them first, as I do have two cats in my home who deserve to be comfortable in their own space. I can follow your routine to the best of my schedule and ability. I always walk on leash. I do not have a fenced yard currently but would prefer to be outside with them when they need to use the bathroom anyway so I can monitor their surroundings and therefore their comfort in an unfamiliar environment.

I pay close attention to their body language, allowing for breaks when needed. Socialization with other dogs and people is carefully managed, and I always clean up after them. Clear communication with the dog owner is a priority, providing updates on the walk's progress. My goal is to provide a enjoyable and safe experience for the dog, promoting their physical and mental health.

“On super short notice Kristina happily took Zuki in for an overnight stay. We moved from Ontario just a year and a half ago and since moving we have not had a proper dog sitter for our 2 year old dog. Knowing his very rambunctious nature and his separation anxiety, Kristina handled him so well. I could not be happier to have found her here on rover. I will 100% be using her anytime we need a dog sitter. Zuki was returned happy, fed, and so calm for the car ride home. I give my highest recommendation to anyone thinking of using her services!”

“Caramelle was very happy with them and communication was easy. You can tell they love animals. We had cute picture updates that our kids loved . We will definitly ask them again when we go out of town”

You can tell that she is a great dog caregiver immediately when you meet her and her beautiful friendly dog Luna. She sent me regular pictures and kept me updated too. My dog got very attached to her. I would highly recommend Jasmeen and would absolutely bring my dog back to her! I wish I could give more stars.⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”
