“Tracy was amazing with Luna!! She sent us 2 or 3 daily updates. I enjoyed the way she will write the messages on behalf of Luna, very thought and sweet!! Tracy has a very clean and lovely home! She took Luna for daily walks and gave her LOTS of cuddles 🥰. Luna slept with Tracy every night, which made us feel very comfortable and safe and we knew she was well taken care of so we can enjoy our vacation!! We will definitely use her services again!!”

“This was our first time having Danielle dogsitt our two dogs. Before we brought them this weekend, she asked if she could meet our dogs before, therefore we went there a month before, she had her notes ready to ask questions. Every questions we had, she answered right away. This weekend was the weekend we brought Mika and Daisy, she sent us notes, updates and photos, which we appreciated so much. You can see that she cares and she is just a sweetheart.”

“Our experience is that Linus provides exceptional care. He is super attentive to both dog and owners needs. Drop off and pickup were easy and he set our minds at ease with pictures and reassuring messages. Our very active and sometimes difficult dog had a terrific time with Linus and even learned to play with the others. At no time were we concerned for his well being.”

About: I have owned dogs all my life, from small breads to large breeds. I have always had a passion for dogs, they just make life so much better! I have looked after several dogs for friends and family and would like to extend my love for dogs to my community. I have a yard, dog toys, dog beds and dog bowls. I will only take 1 dog at a time or multiple dogs from the same family. I have a tenant downstairs, so I am unable to take excessive barkers. All dogs in my care must be great with children :) I am a mom of two and work a fully remote job. I am home almost all day, every day. I have a yard for your dog(s) to get their zoomies out :) I will treat your pet like they are my own. I will provide lots of love, cuddles and play. I know every dog has their own personality and I will be patient and respect their limits to make them as comfortable as possible
“Neil and his Wife were absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have picked better people to leave my dog with, it was my first time boarding my dog and Neil made sure I had no concerns that my dog was well taken care of! He was incredibly responsive, and made sure my dog felt comfortable the entire time! Everything was so perfect that I’ve already booked him again!!”

“Abdhi was awesome! I’m so thankful I chose the right paw parent to care for our Rogan while we were away for 9 days. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable and confident that Rogan was in good hands. She sent us daily updates, photos, and little notes about how he was doing, and that meant the world to us. It truly gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our trip without constantly worrying. It’s not easy leaving your fur baby behind, but Abdhi made it feel like he was on a vacation of his own. We’re beyond grateful for the love, care, and attention she gave him. Highly recommended!”

“Caramelle was very happy with them and communication was easy. You can tell they love animals. We had cute picture updates that our kids loved . We will definitly ask them again when we go out of town”

“We can't recommend Marrisa enough! She’s an absolute gem and took exceptional care of our dog. From the daily walks to the playtime sessions, she ensured our dog felt loved and well-cared-for at all times. Her professionalism and genuine love for dogs shined through in every interaction. It's such a relief to know our dog is in safe and capable hands. Thank you, Marrisa, for being the best dog sitter we could ask for!”

“Gina was really great! She took wonderful care of our dog and kept us up to date with pictures and a summary of their day. I would definitely book her again and can recommend Gina without hesitation.”

“Jasmeen is amazing! It was the first time I left my dog with someone that I didn’t know, and my first time using the app. Jasmeen put me at ease right away and so did Luna. You can tell that she is a great dog caregiver immediately when you meet her and her beautiful friendly dog Luna. She sent me regular pictures and kept me updated too. My dog got very attached to her. I would highly recommend Jasmeen and would absolutely bring my dog back to her! I wish I could give more stars.⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”

“Anke was very responsive and took good care of our dog for two overnight stays. She was quick to reply and quickly adapted to our last minute stay request. She provided updates and photos. I would rebook with Anke. :)”

“Moka seemed to have had a great time with Michelle. She was friendly and easy to communicate with, and also provided me updates and photos as this was our first time leaving Moka in someone else's care.”

“Kristina was great with Lia, we have used her services multiple times and will continue using them whenever we need her to dog sit and even boarding. She’ll take pictures of different activities throughout the day. Shell will treat your pet like her own. Highly recommended and not too far away from dieppe just a 15-20min drive”

“This was a very last minute trip and Jennifer was absolutely amazing to be able to book Maggie for the next day as well as accommodate my unexpected delay! Very beautiful home with a beautiful family. I was sent texts and a picture with updates on how Maggie was doing! I would highly recommend Jennifer! Thank you so much for making this last minute trip possible! 💗”

“Wow so happy I got to meet her and leave my Oreo with her. He was anxious but she still managed to keep him calm. And she also send me pictures. She was also very understanding of our situation as we just moved here.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lutes Mountain
he was great with Drako! very educated on dogs and even help me with some issues we were having with drako.. drako is scared of a crate and freaks out inside he’s in the middle of being crate trained, he was able to get him right in with no issues. He practiced some training with him which i really appreciate 😊

This was our first time using Rover for our 9 year old, high energy, dog. Zakaria was excellent with him! Based on his profile, I felt Zakaria‘s home life felt like ours and I felt comfortable he would take excellent care of our pup. He was able to meet his high energy needs, and even practiced his tricks! We got daily updates, which I really appreciated. I (and Hunter) would highly recommend Zakaria. Thank you!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
