“Bernice took great care of our dog and provided regular updates on his well being and random activities. I’m looking forward to booking her again for future needs. She is exactly what my old dog needed.”

“Neil was absolutely fantastic with our pup. They went on several walks every day and he cared for him like he was his own. Our dog had so much fun we didn’t know if he would want to come home! :) Would recommend 1000%!”

“Bhoyasa and Avinash took care of Hudson for a week. Hudson is very nervous at first and Bhoyasa handled it very well, making him feel safe and calm, reassuring me he was going to be ok. They did their best to recreate his daily routine and I am grateful for it. They also sent some pictures and videos throughout his stay. I would book again with Bhoyasa and Avinash!”

“Karthikeyan and his family were just amazing with our dogs! Both of our dogs had a BLAST when at their place. They took really good care of our fur babies, sent us daily update, pictures and video to reassure us when we were away. I highly recommend them! They are great and will now be our babysitter of choice for our boys!”

“Kaitlyn was absolutely wonderful with our dog. Our dog has social anxiety and it normally takes her a long time to get used to someone. After the first couple of days our Diva made herself right at home. We could see from the daily updates and pictures that she was happy in her environment. I would not hesitate to recommend Kaitlyn and will definitely be a repeat client.”

“Tracy was amazing with Luna!! She sent us 2 or 3 daily updates. I enjoyed the way she will write the messages on behalf of Luna, very thought and sweet!! Tracy has a very clean and lovely home! She took Luna for daily walks and gave her LOTS of cuddles 🥰. Luna slept with Tracy every night, which made us feel very comfortable and safe and we knew she was well taken care of so we can enjoy our vacation!! We will definitely use her services again!!”

“This was my first time ever using Rover, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was amazing from start to finish! She responded quickly to all of my questions and kept me updated with plenty of pictures. Bentley looked so happy and relaxed in every photo. I really appreciated that if she wasn’t certain about something, she asked first — especially since Bentley is a senior dog and has a specific routine. It meant so much that she was careful not to disrupt his normal schedule. Bentley has extreme separation anxiety, so leaving him is never easy for me. Seeing how calm and comfortable he was truly put my mind at ease. She went above and beyond, and I am so grateful for the care she gave him. We will most definitely be booking her again for any future needs!”

“Our experience is that Linus provides exceptional care. He is super attentive to both dog and owners needs. Drop off and pickup were easy and he set our minds at ease with pictures and reassuring messages. Our very active and sometimes difficult dog had a terrific time with Linus and even learned to play with the others. At no time were we concerned for his well being.”

“We used Rover for the first time when we needed an overnight sitter for our pup and chose Eva! She was fantastic ~ invited us in and made us feel comfortable when we arrived with Gunnar, made sure she understood his behaviours and needs before we left, and communicated regularly with us, including sending photos of Gunnar during his stay. When we picked him up the next morning, he was really happy to see us, and appeared well-cared and content based on the photos Eva sent us, and his behaviour and appearance upon pickup. We'd definitely book Eva again for future dgocare needs in the Moncton area!”

“Danielle is thoughtful, loving and calm. The minute we arrived with Maverick I sensed her respect for us and her kindness. Her love for dogs is very apparent. She took care of our boy like he was her own. ❤️ I highly recommend her. 😊”

“This was a very last minute trip and Jennifer was absolutely amazing to be able to book Maggie for the next day as well as accommodate my unexpected delay! Very beautiful home with a beautiful family. I was sent texts and a picture with updates on how Maggie was doing! I would highly recommend Jennifer! Thank you so much for making this last minute trip possible! 💗”

“Tony was absolutely fantastic to deal with! So accommodating and so amazing with our senior dog! He kept us in the loop all weekend, sending us pics and updates!!! Highly recommend him!! Thanks again!!”

“Moka seemed to have had a great time with Michelle. She was friendly and easy to communicate with, and also provided me updates and photos as this was our first time leaving Moka in someone else's care.”

“Marissa was great! She managed my anxiety as a first time Rover user with patience and kindness. She also provided a caring and safe space for my dog, including recognizing and accommodating her separation anxiety. Highly recommend, and will book again.”

“Caramelle was very happy with them and communication was easy. You can tell they love animals. We had cute picture updates that our kids loved . We will definitly ask them again when we go out of town”

About: I have owned dogs all my life, from small breads to large breeds. I have always had a passion for dogs, they just make life so much better! I have looked after several dogs for friends and family and would like to extend my love for dogs to my community. I have a yard, dog toys, dog beds and dog bowls. I will only take 1 dog at a time or multiple dogs from the same family. I have a tenant downstairs, so I am unable to take excessive barkers. All dogs in my care must be great with children :) I am a mom of two and work a fully remote job. I am home almost all day, every day. I have a yard for your dog(s) to get their zoomies out :) I will treat your pet like they are my own. I will provide lots of love, cuddles and play. I know every dog has their own personality and I will be patient and respect their limits to make them as comfortable as possible

Cynthia took great care of our dog Jake during his two day stay! She provided updates, videos and photos and really made sure he felt right at home. Easy communication and flexibility! It is clear that she loves dogs and "gets them". We are.very grateful for her top quality services!

Neil was an excellent dog sitter for Lexie. She seemed really comfortable and happy with him from the start, and she absolutely loved her walks with him. Neil took great care of her, kept us updated and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.
We knew Gina really cared about the pups in her care when she asked to meet our boys before their stay. She kindly provided us updates daily and went out of her way to make them comfortable. We really appreciated her approach and I’m sure we will rebook in the future!

Faith and her boyfriend were wonderful with Hudson. He got a bit unwell shortly after we left and she reached out right away to let me know about it and give me updates. She took great care of Hudson while we’re away and I recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
