“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t have asked for better care for Luc! Louise and her son were absolutely wonderful with him throughout the weekend. From the moment we left him with them, we could tell he was in good hands. They were so caring, attentive, and made sure he felt comfortable and loved. Luc had such a great time that it honestly seemed like he had completely forgotten about us! 😂 He was so happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed all the attention and company. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was being cared for by people who genuinely enjoyed having him around. Thank you so much, Louise and your son, for taking such amazing care of our little guy. We truly appreciate you both and would absolutely trust you with Luc again. ❤️”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and consider myself a true dog lover. I have trained puppies and taken care of a senior dog; as well as a dog with special needs that required LOTS of patience, especially during walks. I love all types of dogs, big and small and would love the opportunity to get to know your fur baby! I am currently retired, and therefore would have plenty of time to fit whatever needs you have into my schedule. Either for daytime check-ins, or overnight stays. I love dogs, playtime walks and cuddles! I live in a one bedroom apartment, therefore, there would be lots of walks, and I would ensure your baby’s safety. Safety would be priority number one.
“This was my first time using Rover and Sara made the process very easy. She was communicative and professional. We got lots of cute pictures of our cats, timely updates, and trusted that they were being well cared for. We were relieved to come home to our cats and home exactly as we left! We will book with Sara again:)”

“Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing! She kept us updated regularly with lots of pictures and videos of our cats, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She spent quality time with them, played with them, gave them treats, and made sure their water bowl was always fresh. It was clear from the updates that our cats became comfortable with her very quickly—they really loved her! We could tell she genuinely cared and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and well taken care of. Her communication was excellent, and everything was spotless when we got home. We will definitely be booking her again next time—we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter!”

About: I have been around animals all my life. Right now I volunteer for a dog rescue as a foster coordinator. I have lots of experience on care for dogs. I own two dogs. I am always with my dogs. I work from home when I want to or I can go into an office. If I was pet sitting, I would be working from home. I would only be caring for pets in my home. I have two friendly dogs of my own who are great with other dogs. I have a fenced in backyard. That is safe and secure. And my dogs are never outside by themselves for an extended period of time.
“Karthikeyan always takes great care of Remi, sends pictures, etc. and it looks like they are having a great time. When I come home she is happy and relaxed. Would recommend!!”

“Haley was amazing. My two cats are both shy with new people and almost immediately the two of them were getting pets from her. I received daily pictures of my boys - twice a day during their check ins which meant a lot to me. Would highly recommended Haley and hopefully she is available the next time I need a cat-sitter as she will be my first choice.”

“Céline a fait un total de 5 visites lorsque j’étais absente. J’ai trois chats et elle a pris grand soin d’eux en s’assurant de m’envoyer des photos et des nouvelles à chaque visite. Elle a une excellente communication et fait en sorte que je puisse partir l’esprit tranquille, sachant que mes petits amours sont entre de bonnes mains. Je la recommande sans hésitation à tous ceux qui cherchent une excellente gardienne pour leurs animaux ! Merci encore, Céline ! 😊”

“Jayde is truly exceptional. We had a meet-and-greet with her before booking the visit. She is kind, and you can tell immediately that she loves animals. Our two cats were in good hands with her for the home visits. We received an update and photos every day. Upon our return, the house was spotless. We couldn't be more satisfied.”

About: I’ve pet sat for various families and taken care of dogs, cats, fish and even goats! I’m happy to work with your preferences and provide the best possible experience. I’m currently a full time student so I’ve got some flexibility in my schedule and am eager to make arrangements to best suit everyone’s schedule! I’m eager to please and follow any preferences that you may have. I’m a hard worker looking to go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.
“I will highly recommended Rileigh, she is very caring and knows what she is doing. My boy is always happy to see her. She always keeps me posted on what they are doing and sent me pictures as well. Thank you for watching after my boy.”

About: I have raised a Labrador puppy as well as a bichon frisé from the puppy stage to adulthood, I understand how critical movement and entertainment is for animals and that’s why I’m here to help. I’m a very patient person when it comes to animals and I have experience in puppy training as well. I’m currently a student in university and I’m looking for different ways to stay active. In between classes and around my loose schedule, I can gladly make time to walk your furry friend and ensure they get the movement they need throughout the day. When caring for other people’s pets I always ask for a small list of instructions. This helps me know that the animals schedule is respected. For example if the animal is in the process of crate training, I can adequately care for the animal to not perturb the training. A simple list of instructions helps me to know how to offer the best care for your animal.
About: Meet Nadia & Grayson 🐾 Hi! We’re Nadia and my 13-year-old son, Grayson! We’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family members. 🐶🐱 When Grayson was 7, I spent three wonderful years on Rover caring for so many loved pets. Grayson was always by my side, helping with walks, playtime, cuddles, and care. Now at 13, he’s excited to take on more responsibility and continue that experience himself! After losing my first dog, we started pet sitting, and eventually welcomed our own rescue, Lilo—a 10-year-old Australian Shepherd/Chocolate Lab mix. Grayson plays a huge role in her daily care and is incredibly loving and responsible with her. ❤️ Whether your pet needs a walk, some cuddles and company, playtime, or a quick check-in while you’re away, we’d love to help! We’ll treat your pets like our own and can’t wait to meet your fur babies! 🐾💕 I work Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4:45pm with an hour lunch. Depending how far you are, a lunch hour walk is possible. I am off Friday to Sunday. Grayson finishes school at 3:30pm and available on weekends as well. We will always respect your house rules. We both strongly believe in routine and consistency is important in making your furry ones feel safe. We will make sure they are loved by us, just as much as they are loved by you.

This was the first time that we have used this service and it worked out great. Kelsey was very reliable and provided daily updates on our cats. We met beforehand to get to know each other which was very comforting for us. It did not take long to feel at ease that our furbabies would be well cared for.

There are 89 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Moncton. About 92% of Moncton sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Moncton stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Moncton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
