About: Mostly familiar with smaller animals small dogs and cats. Had a dog growing up, have a cat now and have watched my friend's dog and 2 cats over a weekend and other times to feed/play with them. I work full time and own a business so I don't have a lot of time but I'm off weekends and many Weekday evenings I could make work I currently have a female cat in my home, and a leopard gecko, 2 storey house with basement and a small front and back yard. There's also a walking trail nearby the house.

“This was Danielle's first time looking after Maude "Maudie". I booked her early so I could go out and have dinner before going to an event. She arrived early and I was able to explain a few details about Maude. I told her that Maude was a sweet dog and loves cuddles. Maude has anxieties so finding someone to come and look after her at the house is a huge relief for her and me, as I know she's still in her environment. Danielle sent me a picture of Maude and her cuddling on the chair! 🥰 I had seen some previous reviews and I know I was in good hands! So far, I have booked three more dates with Danielle. About: Having never grown up in a home without at least 2 pets I understand how precious they are and how much care and attention they require. Pet care has always been part of daily life and I also enjoyed volunteering with a dog shelter all throughout middle and high school where I helped with feeding, cleaning, walking and bathing. I’ve also informally helped friends and neighbors by looking after their pets when they’re away. As my schedule is flexible same day appointments or cancellations are not a concern. While I have an unfenced backyard I live close to parks and open spaces convenient for walking and playtime. I also have a cat who has spent a lot of time with and is comfortable around dogs

“Zakia was a very responsible, attentive, and kind dog sitter to our sweet Ruby. Knowing Ruby is an active small dog, Zakia took the time to take Ruby on her favourite walks and explored green spaces and trails. Zakia and her partner made sure to send plenty of pictures and videos of Ruby and asked questions to clarify about her care instructions. Ruby loves to cuddle and stay close to people and Zakia didn’t shy away from providing a lot of attention. Our house was also well looked after and in the same condition as we left it——so nice to return to after being away for a week. I highly recommend considering Zakia as a dog sitter/house sitter for your loved pet.”
