About: I’ve always been attuned to animals, often preferring their company to humans. I grew up knowing all the dogs along my street. My first job was at the local animal shelter. I’ve pet sit for over a decade and recently become a volunteer with Elderdog Canada. Knowing Ruby is an active small dog, Zakia took the time to take Ruby on her favourite walks and explored green spaces and trails. About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats at home. I also volunteer with a Texas animal rescue and have transported numerous dogs of all breeds, size, and backgrounds. I work well with reactive dogs, health issues, and any size animals not only from experience with my own dogs but the rescue dogs I’ve transported from Texas. I do shift work and am looking for something to do on the side. I usually work 9-9 on a long week short week rotation I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. We’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family members. 🐶🐱 When Grayson was 7, I spent three wonderful years on Rover caring for so many loved pets. Grayson was always by my side, helping with walks, playtime, cuddles, and care. Now at 13, he’s excited to take on more responsibility and continue that experience himself! After losing my first dog, we started pet sitting, and eventually welcomed our own rescue, Lilo—a 10-year-old Australian Shepherd/Chocolate Lab mix.
