She responded quickly to all of my questions and kept me updated with plenty of pictures. Bentley looked so happy and relaxed in every photo. I really appreciated that if she wasn’t certain about something, she asked first — especially since Bentley is a senior dog and has a specific routine. It meant so much that she was careful not to disrupt his normal schedule. Bentley has extreme separation anxiety, so leaving him is never easy for me. Seeing how calm and comfortable he was truly put my mind at ease. She went above and beyond, and I am so grateful for the care she gave him. “Linus looked after our 1.5 year old Irish Red and White, Conall, for two days and nights. Linus researched the breed and knew that youngsters like Conall are prone to Gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV). I had forgotten to mention this but was relieved that Linus had done the research and was aware of preventative measures. He sent us regular updates and pictures which was most appreciated. When Conall hurt himself, as young dogs do, Linus let us know right away. It turned out to be an easily treatable soft tissue injury. Linus kept in touch to ensure Conall was ok. Recommended.”
About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats at home. I also volunteer with a Texas animal rescue and have transported numerous dogs of all breeds, size, and backgrounds. I work well with reactive dogs, health issues, and any size animals not only from experience with my own dogs but the rescue dogs I’ve transported from Texas. I do shift work and am looking for something to do on the side. I usually work 9-9 on a long week short week rotation I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I believe each animal has their own needs which I’m more than happy to accommodate. I’ve epilepsy to mobility issues I've definitely seen it all.

About: I’ve always been attuned to animals, often preferring their company to humans. I grew up knowing all the dogs along my street. My first job was at the local animal shelter. I’ve pet sit for over a decade and recently become a volunteer with Elderdog Canada. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to do more long-term house stays, giving plenty of time to animal care and companionship - should they want it. From my childhood companion, a Newfoundlander, to my beloved golden retriever who lived until 11 1/2 years old, and now my faithful dog, Allie, I have been immersed in the world of canine companionship. I am able to walk them before 10 AM and after 6 PM during the week. I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to be safe, to play in and get fresh air. In the summertime I do have air-conditioning so your dog will be comfortable. If your dog likes water I also have a baby pool for them to dip their toes in or lay in to cool down.

“Linus looked after our 1.5 year old Irish Red and White, Conall, for two days and nights. Linus researched the breed and knew that youngsters like Conall are prone to Gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV). I had forgotten to mention this but was relieved that Linus had done the research and was aware of preventative measures. He sent us regular updates and pictures which was most appreciated. When Conall hurt himself, as young dogs do, Linus let us know right away. It turned out to be an easily treatable soft tissue injury. Linus kept in touch to ensure Conall was ok. Recommended.”
About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats at home. I also volunteer with a Texas animal rescue and have transported numerous dogs of all breeds, size, and backgrounds. I work well with reactive dogs, health issues, and any size animals not only from experience with my own dogs but the rescue dogs I’ve transported from Texas.
