“Amanda took great care of our anxious pup! She was very kind and caring, and sent lots of photos during the day. She even accommodated us being a little bit late for pickup. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“She is great! Took care of our dog really well, she understands that he gets very anxious and made him feel loved and safe. Her kids cuddled with him which is so sweet! Got updates and pictures too! Highly recommended and will definitely book more stays! :)”
“My dog went to Abdhi and she loved her experience, Abdhi is very loving and compassionate with dogs, she took good care of Prisca and kept her busy the whole day, she also sends updates with pictures all along the day to inform me about how my dog is doing. I highly recommend Abdhi if you are looking for someone to take care of your dog while you are absent. Thank you very much Abdhi!”

“Sophie has been a great host to our dog while we were oit for a day trip. We received tue occasional picture and message throughout the day to assure us that our little doggy was still alive and well. :) Her own dog was incredibly friendly and I’m sure a good buddy for the day. We’ll definitely consider re-using Sophie’s services again next time we need it.”

“I love that communication was kept with us all day I absolutely love the pictures and videos. It gave us a worry free day in the sun while he got to get some interactive play time in the cool indoors. He had so much fun that he tried to go back in after picking him up. Super friendly and highly recommend 👌”

“Gina has taken very good care of our furbaby. Tango is actually a bit moody and pesters people when he needs something. However, Gina kept him well rounded and made sure walk, play and meals are all taken care off.Thank you so much.”

About: Throughout my entire life, dogs have been an huge part of my family. From my childhood companion, a Newfoundlander, to my beloved golden retriever who lived until 11 1/2 years old, and now my faithful dog, Allie, I have been immersed in the world of canine companionship. I've dedicated myself to training these dogs, teaching them to understand both verbal commands and hand signals, fostering clear communication and understanding. My experience extends to caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, each one cherished and loved in their own unique way. With a fenced-in yard providing a safe haven for play and exercise, I ensure that any dog under my care receives the attention and affection they deserve. When your dog is in my care, they would be cared for as my own. I work from home full-time so will be available to attend to your dogs needs. I am able to walk them before 10 AM and after 6 PM during the week. I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to be safe, to play in and get fresh air. In the summertime I do have air-conditioning so your dog will be comfortable. If your dog likes water I also have a baby pool for them to dip their toes in or lay in to cool down.

I am home so dogs will not be left unsupervised.
“Kristina was so attentive with Lia she had lots of fun. Took pictures and videos to send to me to show how she is doing. The big field allows my dog to run around and she has a long leash like 200ft to use as well. Very quick to Respond and caring, I will definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our dog has pretty significant separation anxiety, so we were understandably nervous about leaving him. From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding of his needs. She took the time to make him feel comfortable, gave him lots of attention and reassurance, and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout his stay. We reached out last minute with a change of plans, and she was so accommodating and flexible. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about him and treated him like one of her own. When we picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Knowing he was in such compassionate and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and truly wonderful with dogs, even those with separation anxiety, I can't recommend her highly enough. We would absolutely book with her again without hesitation!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Moncton
Amanda has provided a wonderful day care for Sparky, our small shih-poo. She has a pleasant home environment, nice neighbourhood, and most of all, excellent skill and atitude to care. Funniest thing was at the end of the care, I took Sparky to the car to head on the road, but Sparky wanted to go back to Amanda's house. We were very lucky to find her on Rover in the last minute and everything worked out well for us.

Paula was the most amazing dog sitter we have ever had!! She sent us photos and kept us updated on how our precious Meeko was doing all throughout the evening!! We will definitely be having Paula take care of our little Meeko and would highly recommend her to take care of your precious babies!!

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Moncton commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NB ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
