“This was our second time having Andrea and her husband stay at our house. We couldn't be happier with the love and care she gave our dog and also our house. Thanks again Andrea! :)”

About: I have been providing pet sitting services for many years. In the past, I've had cats, rabits, rats and guine pigs stay with me in my home, offering them a warm and caring environment. Additionally, I am experienced in visiting people's homes to care for their cats. This includes feeding, playing, walking dogs and ensuring they receive the attention and care they need in their own familiar surroundings I worked from home and I am flexible. It can be any time during the day or evening and week end. I can come to see your pet at home. I take cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and rats at home. I have a big room in the second floor or all a basement if needed. I have cat scratching posts, cat tree, litter box, toys, interactives bowl....
“Zakia was a very responsible, attentive, and kind dog sitter to our sweet Ruby. Knowing Ruby is an active small dog, Zakia took the time to take Ruby on her favourite walks and explored green spaces and trails. Zakia and her partner made sure to send plenty of pictures and videos of Ruby and asked questions to clarify about her care instructions. Ruby loves to cuddle and stay close to people and Zakia didn’t shy away from providing a lot of attention. Our house was also well looked after and in the same condition as we left it——so nice to return to after being away for a week. I highly recommend considering Zakia as a dog sitter/house sitter for your loved pet.”

“This was our first time having Rileigh over to our apartment to cat-sit overnight while we went on a short trip. We were able to arrange a meet and greet prior to the booking and she was responsive and easy to get in touch with! We appreciate her keeping our very social kitty company and sending us updates while we were gone!”

“Ty was great!! He arrived on time and bonded with Chester quickly. He asked appropriate questions about Chester and seemed confident and knowledgeable. He walked Chester twice in the time we were gone- by the time we got home, Chester and Ty were fast friends!! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Ty again if I’m back in the Moncton area. Thanks Ty, for taking such great care of Chester!!”

“Danielle saved the day! I was scrambling last minute trying to figure out how to attend a scheduled meeting and find a trusted sitter for my 2 dogs. Even though my one dog usually takes time to warm up to people, Danielle made it a breeze! Instant pals! Daniele was on time and followed all pet care instructions provided. Was able to provide me updates and notifications throughout their stay. Look forward to her next visit with us!”

“Marrisa watched my 3 babies for 3 and a half weeks. I appreciated the updates and photos while I was away. Callie loved Marrisa from our first meet and greet which put me at ease and my two cats took a little bit of time to warm up but after the first week they became more comfortable. Thank you again for taking great care of them while I was away!! 🤍”

About: I have raised a Labrador puppy as well as a bichon frisé from the puppy stage to adulthood, I understand how critical movement and entertainment is for animals and that’s why I’m here to help. I’m a very patient person when it comes to animals and I have experience in puppy training as well. I’m currently a student in university and I’m looking for different ways to stay active. In between classes and around my loose schedule, I can gladly make time to walk your furry friend and ensure they get the movement they need throughout the day. When caring for other people’s pets I always ask for a small list of instructions. This helps me know that the animals schedule is respected. For example if the animal is in the process of crate training, I can adequately care for the animal to not perturb the training. A simple list of instructions helps me to know how to offer the best care for your animal.
About: I have had many different pets over the years, including small animals, reptiles, birds and fish, as well as some smaller farm animals and cats and dogs of course. I have spent a lot of time rescuing and rehabilitating them. I spend a lot of my free time reserching different husbandry ideas as well as following the story's from veterinarians. I went to University to study wildlife conservation but do to a car accident only completed the ecology portion. Bonus, I am very good with plants. I am currently unemployed due to the business I was working for shutting down, and so I have alot of free time. I will be looking for new employment and will update this once I have found something. I am very quiet and enjoy spending time at home. Even if I find a job I will still be available before and after work. I am very good at following instructions and sticking to a routine. I am used to doing morning and night time chores, be it feeding or walking or any other care animals may need. If certain animals require more i am happy to do so. I have taken care of many babies that needed feeding every 2 hours. I listen and pay attention to what pets are asking for.
“After a cancellation we were able to find Bev to come and take care of our furry family over the Christmas holiday. We were a little worried where this was our first big trip away from the dogs and leaving them with a total stranger. We were able to meet a couple times before leaving and Otis and Luna warmed up very quickly. Bev checked in with us regularly and kept us updated. I would highly recommend Bev to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Zoe was amazing with my baby yorkie. She was kind and loving. Took him for two walks and played with him all day. He enjoyed his time with Zoe!! Thank you Zoe for caring for our little one as if he was yours!”
About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. Tita was with me for over 15 years, and Harvey has been with me for 8 years — I’ve had him since he was just a 40-day-old puppy. I truly love dogs, and I’ll be happy to take care of your fur baby as if they were my own "I currently work four nights a week, so I have three nights available to take care of your pets." "Last-minute requests may be considered :) "I have experience in caring for senior dogs, as well as administering medicines, creams, and other supplements for your pet's care on time. I am very careful when I take them for a walk to prevent them from escaping or ingesting something they may find on the ground
About: Mostly familiar with smaller animals small dogs and cats. Had a dog growing up, have a cat now and have watched my friend's dog and 2 cats over a weekend and other times to feed/play with them. I work full time and own a business so I don't have a lot of time but I'm off weekends and many Weekday evenings I could make work I currently have a female cat in my home, and a leopard gecko, 2 storey house with basement and a small front and back yard. There's also a walking trail nearby the house.
“Our first time trying the rover app and having Kristina watching our fur babies made it so easy for us to leave in peace of mind. She was very sweet and give us updates with pictures of our new pup. Would defenitly recommend Kristina to all of my friends! Thank you Kristina ?”

About: I grew up with animals (cats, rabbits, dogs) and we currently have a Saint Bernard as a family dog so I am used to saliva and a lot of hair loss haha. Hi there, I am Noelle:) I am a 25-year old psychology student from Germany and I recently moved to Moncton. As I am currently writing my master thesis my schedule is quite flexible. There are no children or other animals in the house, and the garden is also fenced in for added security. Most of the time, it will just be me in the house, ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment.
About: I have two years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats at an animal shelter. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning kennels, monitoring behaviour, supporting medication routines, and caring for puppies, seniors, and nervous animals. I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. My availability varies throughout the week, and I keep my Rover calendar updated so pet parents can see when I am available. I can provide scheduled walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine and communicate promptly if there are any changes or concerns.ɓ Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions carefully. Before each walk, I check the leash, collar, or harness and stay alert to traffic, unfamiliar animals, and escape risks. I maintain a clean environment, respect clients’ homes, and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are safe

I got my babies Milo (RIP) and Whisky almost 14 years ago. Michael has been without a doubt the best person with my boys. Whisky just spent another time with him and is always excited to see him. He is always loved and well cared for. I can 100 percent recommend Michael as someone you can trust with your pet

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Dieppe maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Garbage & recycling: Taking garbage bins to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Dieppe walking routes, the location of your favourite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Dieppe choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitters’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity check, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.
If you have security cameras or doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
