“Gary and Natalie are true professionals! They are great with all communication, photos, and going above and beyond for our cat. We are lucky to have them to watch our boy!”

“Kaitlyn has been wonderful watching our kitten Zion a few times, and we'll continue to book her! Prior to cat-sitting, she suggested a site visit to see the house and meet our pet. There's regular communication while away with pictures and video, so you feel confident your pet is in good hands. We'll continue to use her services. Thank you!”

“We had a great experience with Jayde pet-sitting our cat, Bisou! She took wonderful care of her, and it was clear she enjoyed her care. I definitely recommend her, we feel at ease leaving our cat in her care while we travel.”

About: I have been around animals all my life. Right now I volunteer for a dog rescue as a foster coordinator. I have lots of experience on care for dogs. I own two dogs. I am always with my dogs. I work from home when I want to or I can go into an office. If I was pet sitting, I would be working from home. I would only be caring for pets in my home. I have two friendly dogs of my own who are great with other dogs. I have a fenced in backyard. That is safe and secure. And my dogs are never outside by themselves for an extended period of time.
About: I've graduated Oulton College's Veterinary Assistant course and love to spend time with animals I have lived with and taken care of my grandparents dog and spent time around a variety of dogs during my practicum. I am aware of conditions and symptoms to keep an eye out for and will keep your friend happy and healthy I'm currently searching for a job in the Veterinary field and am pretty free to take care of your pet whenever, though this may change when I find a job. As someone who has experience with his own pets and many others during my practicum, I am able to read body language and respond accordingly to keep everyone safe. I am comfortable around animals and know how to keep an eye out for health issues.
“This was our first time using this service and our experience was fantastic!! Marissa followed instructions perfectly and then went above and beyond. She communicated with us in detail and took lots of pictures of our kitties so we knew they were okay. She took the time to play with them and provide them love. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you Marissa!!”

“Morgane was exceptional and it was just a positive experience. Straightforward simple, good, trustworthy and personal but professional. We (Keji and I) were blessed to have her be there and took all the worry away knowing she was in such good hands.”

“I will highly recommended Rileigh, she is very caring and knows what she is doing. My boy is always happy to see her. She always keeps me posted on what they are doing and sent me pictures as well. Thank you for watching after my boy.”

About: I have raised a Labrador puppy as well as a bichon frisé from the puppy stage to adulthood, I understand how critical movement and entertainment is for animals and that’s why I’m here to help. I’m a very patient person when it comes to animals and I have experience in puppy training as well. I’m currently a student in university and I’m looking for different ways to stay active. In between classes and around my loose schedule, I can gladly make time to walk your furry friend and ensure they get the movement they need throughout the day. When caring for other people’s pets I always ask for a small list of instructions. This helps me know that the animals schedule is respected. For example if the animal is in the process of crate training, I can adequately care for the animal to not perturb the training. A simple list of instructions helps me to know how to offer the best care for your animal.
About: I've been around animals my whole life, and I love taking dogs for walks. In my free time, I also enjoy horseback riding and walking dogs for SPCA, I've even babysat a friend's hamster. Going for walks and enjoying the outdoors is a passion of mine. I'm looking for extra income in addition to my job, so I'm offering dog-walking services during my free time throughout the week. I'll do my best to accommodate your needs, whether it's walking your dog around your neighborhood or taking them to a nearby dog park if required. I have my own transportation, so I'm flexible when it comes to your location. I'm currently working full-time, and my schedule varies slightly from week to week. Feel free to check my availability. That being said, if there's a day that's not listed, please don't hesitate to ask, as things could change! When dog walking, my primary focus is on the well-being and happiness of the dog. I start by ensuring the dog is securely leashed and comfortable with their equipment. During the walk, I choose a safe route, preferably the one that the dog knows, taking into account the dog's pace and preferences. I pay close attention to their body language, allowing for breaks when needed. Socialization with other dogs and people is carefully managed, and I always clean up after them. Clear communication with the dog owner is a priority, providing updates on the walk's progress. My goal is to provide a enjoyable and safe experience for the dog, promoting their physical and mental health.
About: I had dogs home since I was a baby. I'm owning dogs for over 15 years now, I love to play and walk with dogs. I had dogs of all sizes like Australian Shepard, puddle, Bichon Maltais, boxer... 2 of them were rescued dogs, they came from far but ending up being some of the best family's dogs I had so far. I'm offering walks and playtime with your dog(s) and/or playtime with meals. I'm currently working in the French School district so I'm available a little bit before school starts and after school. I'm also available the weekend. I won't be available when weather makes walks not safe 😁 For walks, I'll pick up your dog(s) and go walk around, or in a park or trails, beforehand I'll discuss with you the options available around your place and habits with your dog. We can have the option to do a walk and playtime. Concerning the drop in, I will go outside for potty time, I'll play with your dog(s) and feed him/her/them 😁

Will definitely be booking him again for Dolly 100% and he will be who I choose from now on when it comes to taking care of Dolly.”

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Dieppe stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Dieppe choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
