Bonjour/Hi! My name is Sophie. I am 38 years old. I did dog daycare and dog boarding for 1,5 years in France from 2018- 2019 before I moved to Canada. I speak French and English so you can communicate with me in either languages. During my dog sitting time in France, I met and bonded with many dogs and their owners and I miss this connection a lot. I also rescued my first dog in 2010 when his owners left the country and I would refuse to see him in a shelter. I can guarantee that your pet will be very well taken care of. We live in a house with a huge garden, unfenced for now (we hope to put up in fence in the spring). There are also many parks we can go to for walks and play time. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility in 2020-2021, so I am used to having dogs around and can adapt to any personality and any situation. Today I work from home as a translator but my love for dogs is still strong! I would also be happy to come at your house if you need me to come to walk, feed and spend time with your pet. Safety is very important to me and you can rest assured your pet would be safe with me. We have a Furbo camera at home so we can see from our phones the whereabouts of our dog- whether we’re away or when working. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby!

Dès nos premiers échanges, nous nous sommes instantanément sentis en confiance avec Sophie. 🤍C’était la toute première fois que nous laissions notre petit chiot et elle a rendu cette expérience tellement rassurante. Nous avons adoré les photos et les vidéos envoyées par Sophie. En plus, Clovie a pu vivre une belle expérience de socialisation avec Hudson et toute la famille. Comme d'habitude, Lola est toujours bien traité a chaque fois qu'elle se fait garder. On sait qu'elle est en sécurité chez Sophie.
J’ai laissé mon Havanais de 5 ans avec Sophie pendant 6 jours. Dès le premier jour j’ai reçu des messages réguliers de Sophie avec photos m’informant de comment les choses se passaient. J’ai vite compris que Charlie était en bonnes mains et qu’il semblait bien s’adapter à la famille, la routine et Hudson, le chien de Sophie. Je n’hésiterai pas à laisser Charlie avec Sophie dans le futur et je la recommande très fortement ! Je suis très heureuse d’avoir trouver cette perle !

This is the second time that Sophie has taken care of Moka. He is always at ease and adores having a buddy.
This was the first time we needed a place for our little dog, Zack, to stay while we were out of town. Sophie did a meet and greet at the park and our first impression gave us confidence to leave him with her and her dog Hudson. When we dropped Zack off, he was excited to see Sophie, her husband and Hudson. While we were away Sophie sent us regular updates with lots of details of how Zack was doing, as well really great pictures and little videos. We really appreciated these and knew he was being really well taken care of. As there will be times in the future where we will need to be away, we will definitely be calling Sophie to take care of him. We cannot thank her and her family, including Hudson, for making our trip less stressful.

Schedule
I have been working from home for a while and my dog is always by my side or minding his own business around the house. I walk him 3 times a day, and he rarely stays alone. My husband also works from home.

Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the dog we will have in our care, they will be able to go anywhere around the house and be as happy they can be. I have no problem following routine instructions and giving all the attention I can as if they were my own. Whether it is a few hours or a few days, you can rest assured I will care for your furry baby the way you want me too, and more!

A typical day
Our house is very laid back but we do have a big garden at the back with a tie-out leash where our furry guest can enjoy himself with ball games, fetch, maybe find a few sticks! We can go on walks around the neighborhood and on the trails nearby too. And of course, lots of cuddling and playing!

- Must be child and dog friendly. A meet and greet will be scheduled for boarding services to make sure our dogs get along, and is highly recommended too for Daycare, although not necessary but other than that, our house will be your best friend’s house :)
