About: Hello, I have a home full of animals, including two very reactive rescue Cattle dogs. I know how hard it can be to feel completely comfortable leaving your pup in someone else’s hands. I will work with your dog to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I’ve been working with a local trainer and use Dr. Karen Overalls relaxation protocol and see her at the AVC for her behaviour medicine expertise. You can rest assured that your pup will be in very loving, patient hands and your pup will receive my full and undivided attention while in my care. Because of my dogs needs, I’m well versed in pet body language and at no time would your pup be put in a situation where they would feel threatened in anyway. Depending on your pups needs, we can walk in a very quiet area with minimal traffic or we can go somewhere they can experience a little more action. You can rest assured that I will never take your dog to a dog park if it’s not something your enjoys. Currently I will only take my dogs to a park when they only have it to themselves so they can have some off leash fun. Whether your dog enjoys a short walk around the block for a quick potty break, or a longer walk to let their energy out, I can do it all. I can additionally take your pup for a car ride to new and exciting places to sniff around and explore. I currently work part-time, but my schedule is very flexible. I can be available at just about anytime, day or night. Just let me know what your pets needs are and we can come up with a plan. I don’t provide care in my home because my pups aren’t ready to explore other dogs in their home. We have a fairly tight routine in our home to keep them as care free as possible. I have experience walking reactive dogs that are fearful of other dogs, humans, sights and sounds so I’m always on the lookout for anything that may disturb them. I always wear a walking pack around my waist to make sure the dog is secure and fill it with all the things your dog might need, including lots of treats. My dogs are also muzzle trained, so muzzles don’t scare me. I’m able to help your dog work on any fears they may have and simply make their experience with me a positive one. I can comfortably walk both my reactive dogs at the same time without fear of incident. Sometimes we go on straight walks, going from point A to B, and sometimes we engage in what I like to call ‘sniff’ walks, which is when they are able to take as much time as they need to stop and smell the roses. Which ever you and your dog prefers, or a combination of both, is okay with me. I will be sending you lots of pictures and updates for ease of mind that your pet is in good hands!

About: I grew up with a cat named Tiger for 19 years of my childhood. I now live with a cat name Turnip and have a dog named Sully who is a big ball of energy. This will be my main source of work for the summer. I will have lots of time to play and cuddle with your pets for as long as needed. I am great at following the routine you have set for your pets. I have been trained in walking larger dogs and am great at making connections with animals.
