About: Canine first aid valid until March 2027. I grew up having cats and dogs and am always the first to volunteer to pet sit; which lead to having a friend's Australian Shepherd stay with us for month and when he went home I signed up for Rover. It has been an absolute joy helping people with their pet care needs that I'm now walking and sitting as well as training to be able to groom dogs as well. One of the biggest perks or being self employed is that I make my own schedule and can work from anywhere. It give me the flexibility to make sure your furry friend is well taken care of Our house manager ( Ayla, our oldest cat) has put her foot down and made it none she will not tolerate dogs in our home. That being said I'm happy to come to your place sitting anywhere from a half day to 2 weeks. I don't take dogs to dog parks, I believe in the rather safe than sorry philosophy when it comes to caring for animals. This is the same reason I keep them on leash. I do have a couple of 50 foot leads so they can run and explore while always being in eye sight

About: I have had dogs throughout my whole life. I am comfortable with all sizes and their unique personalities. After decades in hospitality and guest care, I bring that same attention , communication and reassurance to your pets. I recently sold a very busy business. with a desire for a more balanced life , I now work part-time from home with a very flexible schedule. I love the outdoors and live next to a trailhead for daily walks in the woods. I wanted to combine my love of being outside and moving , with my adoration for dogs. With our two children grown and gone, we have plenty of space in our two story home. We have a large yard and live next to a very large park with extensive trails throughout the woods. We also have the space to crate your pet, should you require. We recently lost our dog Brady of ten years and our home is a well loved dog home where pets are free to roam and be. We are not in the position to have a pet full time but caring for others is the perfect fit.

Yes, I will based in your home overnight and while I work in the day. I have a flexible schedule and am open to working around your pet's needs & routines. As I know the importance of providing consistency in their daily schedule. I do my best to follow the rules & instructions of your home; to reinforce your pet’s training and sense of comfort in your absence.

About: Can walk play or work with your dog in town or take your dog to the beach fields woods or trails. You pick the level of exercise engagement fun or work that you want for your dog. Off leash experience has been with working breeds only - such as - retrievers, terriers, and sheepdogs. New to Rover and Rates reflect my goal to start helping out! I'm an avid hiker and spend at least an hour each day in the woods, beaches or fields of PEI. My schedule is flexible, and rain or shine, I'd be happy to bring your dog along! I'm here to accommodate you and your pet's needs - whether you prefer walks in town or out or want your dog on-leash or off-leash. My select out of town spots assure minimal to no interactions with other dogs. I work to have my dogs off leash and within site and would be happy to work with yours too - or train as you see fit! Additional rates apply to out of town hikes or in town walks greater than 30 minutes.

About: I love dogs of any size and personality. I have experience working with golden retrievers, labs Jack Russell‘s GSP, hounds and many other dogs of all sizes.I may be a bit biased but golden retrievers are my absolute favourite. It would be my pleasure to walk, play or keep your goldens company on your busy days. You can trust that your furry family member will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I don’t have any pets at this time as I travel too much for work but I look forward to being your dogs temporary dog mom! I work shift work and often have days off during the week. My schedule would be ideal for someone working Monday to Friday who needs help with their pet durring working hours Monday- Friday and occasional nights and weekends. I plan to give your pets the best care so I will only have pets from one house hold at a time to ensure your pets have my full attention

About: Caring for pets comes naturally. Growing up with goldens, lab and a poodle. Then owing 2 Aussie Shepards and 3 cats. Shiloh the Shi Tzu is my latest pet, I trained her through professionals and now have a very loving dog, that love extends to all pets. I started by friends asking me to sit there dogs while they were away. Loving and caring for other dogs and cats, started as hobby and now I would love to do the same for you! I know that giving your dog exercise can greatly effect your pet in a positive way. They listen better and are generally happier. Love 💕 is a key ingredient to happier dog as well. Dogs are mostly comfortable in their own environment and their routines are very important to stay the same as they are used to. I am retired and have time to walk dogs, pop in to different homes to walk feed and care for other dogs. If they get along with other dogs can walk them with my dog. I will do both as my dog loves others or if the dog does not socialize well I can go to their home as needed.

About: As a mature adult with 20+ years as a teacher and leader in public education, I understand people. But a love for dogs and all pets has me excited about this new adventure. I have owned pets my entire life and would be happy to show yours the same love I show my own. Beginning July 1, I am available seven days a week for drop in visits with your pet, dog walking or visits at my own home with my own dogs. I have a fenced in yard for the safety of your pets and mine. I can tailor your pets care to suit their and your needs.
