“Jeremy was so sweet and caring with our injured dog, who needed special treatment on his walk. He is also a great communicator and very friendly. I will definitely hire him again!”

About: Hi! I’m Jenny! 🌻 I’ve been professionally dog sitting and walking for 9 years now. I have 20 years experience taking care of dogs and cats. I love the playful energy that they bring into people’s lives. While living in Nelson, I dog/house sat for over a 60 different families and had amazing experiences. Some of the dog owners even call me “Aunty Jenny”! I’m Head of Creative Partnerships and work in the retreat industry. So my hours are flexible and I can work wherever there is wifi! When I take care of dogs, I can bring them everywhere and on a lot of adventures whether it be the beach to play fetch, a long hike or run or to the dog park. I would love to own a dog, but I am still waiting until my travel bug settles down. Right now, I have to get my pup cuddles elsewhere :) I can pet/house sit any day during the week. I and go for 3-4 walks a day with the doggos (if they are able) I’m currently not allowed to have pets in my apartment, so I would have to come to you! Happy to travel into Vancouver, and can travel to the lower mainland, the Island, the gulf islands, Whistler or elsewhere as well and would request that travel/ferry fees are covered. I also have extensive experience working with reactive, timid/traumatized/anxious, and elderly dogs and cats. Some owners say that I have a calming energy that many pets feel grounded around (which feels nice!) I also am a plant and garden lover and will ensure that any greenery be taken care of! Rest assured, your plants, place and pets will be safe and happy with me! I look forward to connecting with you and your furry family members. 🤍 * PS I split my time between North Van and Squamish so you can see my other profile with 22, 5 star reviews here: https://www.rover.com/members/jenalle-d-happiest-outsidejust-like-your-pup/?service_type=drop-in&frequency=onetime&pet_type=dog#reviews I’m currently working remotely part time so I have ample time to take your dog for walks. I can work anywhere that has a wifi password so I am always around the animals. At this time I’m not allowed dogs in my building, so I will have to come to you! I am home working remotely which is an added bonus so pets are not left alone for long periods of time.

“Laurence it was an excellent communicator through the booking process and leading up to the walk, and from the pictures she sent it looked like our little girl had a great time. Will be booking again!”

“Natasha & Jacob are always on time to walk Gnarly and send the cutest photos! They are super reliable even on my short notice for a walk. Thanks guys! :)”

About: Hi, I'm Ingrid, a passionate pet sitter and dog walker with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve served many dog owners, offering personalized care that caters to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether it’s helping anxious pups feel at ease or ensuring pets with special diets are happy and healthy, I go the extra mile to ensure your furry family members feel safe and loved while you're away. While traveling, I've had the opportunity to petsit and care for pets and homes across Canada, the U.S., and Australia, building trust with pet owners who value my reliability and genuine love for animals. Now based in beautiful Squamish, I live in a pet-friendly townhouse with plenty of space for playtime and relaxation. There’s also a peaceful park and a forest nearby where dogs can run and explore freely. I’m here to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment to your pet. I’d love the opportunity to meet your furry companions and give them the same love and attention they deserve! I'm quite active and enjoy regular walks throughout the day, which is even more enjoyable with a dog by my side! As a professional dog walker, I often take groups of up to six dogs on adventures in the mountains and forests. If there’s space available, your pup can join in on the fun! I also offer individual walks for dogs who prefer a quieter experience, so rest assured, I can accommodate their needs. I provide personalized pet care in both my home and my clients' homes, ensuring a safe and loving environment for every pet. In my home, I have a pet-friendly townhouse with ample space for play and relaxation, along with access to nearby parks and trails where we can explore together. When caring for pets, I prioritize their individual needs, whether that means adhering to specific dietary requirements, providing extra attention for anxious pets, or maintaining their usual routines. I also ensure that each pet feels secure and loved, whether they’re enjoying group walks on the trails or receiving one-on-one attention at home. Communication is key, so I keep pet owners updated with photos and messages to reassure them that their furry family members are happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a positive and nurturing experience for both pets and their owners.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I am passionate about their growth. I trained all my dogs myself and just love being around them. I currently work part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available almost every day and some evenings for walks and play time. I have a dog friendly house. I have parks and trails at the door step of my house for long nature walks and doggie play time (if they play well with others). Safety and happiness are my top priorities when caring for your dog

About: Hi! I’m a 27-year-old school bus driver living in Alpine, Whistler—one of the best areas for dogs! With access to social dog walks, nearby parks, and quiet trails where we can roam solo, I can tailor every outing to your dog’s needs. I also have a reliable vehicle, so whether your pup needs a mellow stroll or an off-leash mountain adventure, I’m ready to take them there. I’ve been dog-sitting on Rover for two years and absolutely love it. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, and dogs were my very first friends. I’ve personally leash-trained and obedience-trained my family’s three dogs from puppyhood, and I’m still closely involved in their care—brushing, grooming, and trimming nails regularly when I visit them in Surrey. My calm, cozy, private home is ideal for dogs who need to decompress, especially those who are anxious, shy, or need a quiet space between adventures. I use only positive reinforcement and truly believe in building trust through love and consistency. Whether you're looking for boarding or walking, I bring experience, energy, and genuine care. I’d love to meet your dog and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m off for the summer from my school bus job, with just the occasional side gig—so my schedule is wide open for dog time! I’m out walking and hiking every day, and I’d love to bring your pup along for the fun. I have the time, energy, and lifestyle to give your dog the exercise and attention they’ll love. In my home, dogs enjoy a calm, quiet, and cozy environment where they can fully relax between adventures. I maintain a safe, clean space with no other pets or distractions—ideal for pups who need extra comfort or have anxiety. When walking, I always use secure gear, monitor surroundings closely, and tailor each outing to the dog’s needs and energy level. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities at all times.

“Holly was wonderful to communicate with. She was flexible and worked with my schedule. She gave my dog a wonderful walk while we were skiing, sent me pictures and an update. I’d highly recommend her!”

“Tyler was fantastic with our energetic 1 year old golden retriever pup. He took him for long walks, g Sent us pictures every day and even helped train not to pull so much! Thank you Tyler!!!”

“Anton was amazing for our dog Katie, who was a little out of sorts being in a new environment. Anton was patient and kind and Katie had great walks, she looked happy and her tail was wagging by the end of each walk! Thanks so much for taking care of her, will definitely reach out again next time we are in Whistler!”

About: I have had a cat and/or a dog for 10 plus years and volunteer at a local animal shelter. I am familiar with positive reinforcement training with dogs. I am available over weekends and weekdays periodically after 5pm. Available for pet care in your home or hotel. Please reach out with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting your pet! Will be respectful of your space and home. Dogs are allowed in my car if needed with doggy seat belts available and a barrier to the front seat.

“Hayley was great with Loki. Loki is our German shepherd who is a ball of energy. He loves to play and say hi to every dog in sight. When owners allow for hellos, everything is fine but if owners can’t do hellos, Loki gets a bit reactive. Hayley handles this reactivity very well and has experience with bigger dogs. So happy with her patience and love towards Loki! Thank you :)”

“Very lovely and great with Kevin”

About: I’ve had/taken care of many different types of dogs/cats for as long as I can remember! I grew up with alot of animals in the house and currently have 4 dogs & 3 cats at home! I just moved to Squamish and I’m looking to hangout with some cats and/or walk some pups in my downtime to get them and myself outside a bit! I like to think of myself as a very positive, uplifting and energetic person! I love animals and the main reason I am on Rover is because I miss my pets at home so I thought this would be a good opportunity to get some puppy love. I am very flexible with times and frequency and I am more than willing to work with your busy schedule(: I look forward to spending time with your pup (or cat!). I work mostly evenings, but my schedule is very flexible so its quite easy for me to move shifts around when needed! I am currently studying online from home so have a very flexible schedule to accomodate most pet needs. I sometimes have to pop to Whistler for work but will only leave 4-5 hours at a time at most. I have experience with blind animals, special care animals, etc. I have a very flexible schedule and I am open to pet care and house sitting during the week and on weekends. I own my own business so I am able to work flexibly. About: I have walked and pet-sit both large and smaller dogs and cats for friends, family and neighbours for several years. I am confident in feeding, walking and bathing and entertaining animals. I am located in Whistler, BC and am available- and would be happy- to provide walks and sitting/ check-ins at your residence. With my own dog back home, I have spent lots of time caring, loving and walking many pets and would love the opportunity to spend time with animals while I am out here. I will only let a dog off-lead if they are confident in recall, recognise animal behavioural hints, and ensure that keeping them safe and happy is the most important thing. As for cats and other pets, I try to ensure that they’re able to be comfortable around me, not pushing boundaries by picking up them up, etc. and entertaining them.

Ingrid M.
“I met Ingrid M in the fall through TrustedHousesitters. I found her experience very much to my satsifaction so she house and pet sat from Oct. 13 - Nov. 6/23. I got updates about my kitty, Niko, throughout her stay. Everything was in perfect order when I got home and, although Niko was very happy to see me, he certainly had obviously been well looked after - which isn't necesarily a given with him as he was a rescue and can be very standoffish. As a wonderful bonus for me, I arrived back in Vancouver on one of its filthy wet days - and Ingrid picked me up at the Seabus and brought me home. And, she is returning to look after the house and Niko for another week. I think this speaks for itself. Would I recommend Ingrid? Yes.”
