Please note I prefer to not do off-leash in public areas to ensure the dogs safety! Prefer to be within an hour of Stavely so I can go back and forth during the days to be with my Dad. I am able to stay in your home, keeping your pets in their comfortable surroundings and keeping their regular routine! I am also able to stop in and check pets if that’s a service that’s required. Shorter stays preferred, less than a week. I can be responsible for inside and outside pets of all kinds, including horses, chickens and rabbits. Have experience with farm sitting during the summer and winter.

About: I’m a devoted pet parent to two dogs, Nash and Kootenay, whom I’ve raised from puppyhood—one still mastering life at 5 months old and the other a well‑seasoned 5‑year‑old pro. Thanks to lots of hands‑on puppy care (and patience), plus extensive dog training classes, I’m comfortable with common commands, routines, and the occasional stubborn streak. I also have experience caring for dogs with high anxiety and medical needs, including calmly administering medications and providing extra reassurance when needed. Beyond dogs, I’ve raised two cats and have experience caring for birds, so I bring a calm, loving, and adaptable approach to every pet—no matter the species or personality! I work full time in office 4 days a week and one work from home day on Fridays! My schedule has a fairly early end time (7am-3pm), so I am available weekdays after 3pm for any drop in or dog walking services. Weekends are completely open (pending other commitments) which means I am open then for any service those days. Because of a work from home day on Fridays and work place flexibility, I am also able to provide house sitting services Friday-Monday with at least 3 days notice! With the right situation/time of year, I can also provide week day availability for house sitting for animals that can be left alone with one break provided by me in my workday. When house sitting, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine and environment as calm, familiar, and stress‑free as possible. I care for pets in their own home so they can stick to the schedules, spaces, and comforts they know best. I’m respectful of your home, reliable with routines, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs—whether that’s extra playtime, quiet companionship, or added reassurance for anxious pets. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with a poodle and now share my life with my beautiful Brittany Spaniel, so I truly understand how much our dogs mean to us—they’re family. I treat every dog in my care like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra cuddles, I pay close attention to their personality and needs so they have a happy, stress-free experience. Being a true dog person means I know how important trust is, and my goal is always to care for your dog as if they were my own. At the moment I have a very flexible schedule while I look for a more permanent job, which makes pet care a great fit for my routine. I’m newly pregnant and already spend a lot of my time with my own dog, so caring for other dogs throughout the day feels very natural to me. Because I have my own Brittany Spaniel, I already have a daily routine of walks, feeding times, and making sure dogs get plenty of attention and exercise. I just need to make sure I’m home in the evenings for my dog’s dinner, but I’m very open to working out schedules that work well for everyone. I love the idea of spending my days with dogs and making sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe. At the moment I’m offering pet care in clients’ homes, as I’m not able to host other animals in my home right now. I’m happy to come to your home to care for your pet so they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. When I care for pets, I focus on making sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after. This includes walks, playtime, enrichment, feeding, and of course lots of cuddles and attention. I also make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed while you’re away. We had black Labradors growing up and I now have one of my own :) I am currently working part time so I have lots of free time to play/ watch your pets. I am available to give potty breaks or walks every 2 hours or as needed I am comfortable coming to your house to take your pet for a walk or potty breaks. I can do overnight trips aswell depending where you live I can stop in to check on your fur babies.

I’m currently working full-time as a supervisor at Starbucks, which allows me to have flexible hours. My schedule provides me with plenty of availability in the mornings, as my shifts typically start in the late afternoon. I stay at an apartment providing a safe and secure space for your dog to play and relax. Additionally, there’s a dog park just a 3-minute walk from my home, offering the perfect opportunity for socialization, exercise, and outdoor fun.

Come to think about it, there has only been two years of my life that I have not had to care for an animal. I have also walked, done pet visits and stayed over at client's homes for work in the past. I strive to be very observant of an animal's individual needs and wants and make adjustments where necessary. I am especially good at taking pets for long walks, and long bouts of exercise. I can even take your dog for a run, if that's what he/she likes. I also enjoy playing fetch, tug of war or any other game they're interested in.
