“Stephen was prompt and professional. He cared for my girl very well and went above and beyond to help out”

About: I am a new stay at home mom that is used to caring for my children with paws and still learning the tricks to the one with toes. While I love all animals, the big slobbery ones have my heart wrapped around their drool and my big senior (7 yr Great Dane/Mastiff) guy knows it. Our little girl is actually a 120 lb mastiff/pitty cross that just turned 4 and they both love their littlest brothers (an April Fools baby and a 3 lb kitten, both of whom run the house). Killer the cat is actually a big ball of scaredy cat and Mr Fishy the Beta finishes off the attendance list. I would love to meet and care for your family members with fur as well! I am currently on maternity leave and am looking to get out of the house and get some exercise. I am confident in walking large dogs but will have my baby and stroller with me so I ask for pups that won’t pull too much. Since I have a small baby and 4 animals of my own I am not able to stay overnight but can check in any day or time. Having two extra large dogs of my own, I am confident in walking your pup and am familiar in crate training as well. I believe in force free training and can follow your lead to reinforce training and obedience into our walks and visits as well. I strongly follow the idea that trust is the best form of leadership with animals and people.

“I have been really busy with work lately and got Allison’s help breaking up the day for my 5 month old puppy. They go for short walks, play and work on tricks. She has such calm energy and Harper loves her. I appreciate that we have the same philosophy about positive reinforcement training and I will definitely book her again!”

About: I have taken care of a large assortment of pets. I started dog grooming when I was 16 and did that for 20 years. I also worked at a pet store as a small animal manager. Duties included feeding, cleaning cages, engaging with a wide range of small animals, cats and birds. The department was run efficiently and I trained a small team of employees to aid in all duties. In addition to this, I also managed a grooming salon. I am able to administer medications, including injections. Pets are my sole purpose in life. I don’t have kids and I’m currently living in a no-pet home. I miss having dogs and cats. I currently snuck in a hamster named Eleanor and a fish tank with an angel fish named Jude. I have a lot of love to give and your pet will be in competent hands. My daily/weekly routine is spent loving and caring for animals. It’s not just a job, I live for it. It’s my life. I cannot have pets in my own home but I do offer pet sitting in your own home. Your pet will be comfortable in their own home as I maintain any rituals or schedules as determined by the pet’s owner. I also offer dog walking and drop in visits. I’m very thorough and will offer a great experience for your pet.

“Nicole is wonderful! My dog just loves going for walks with her. She’s very punctual and kind. Will definitely be booking her services in the future!”

“Snaa was great! Reliable and easy to communicate with.”

About: I have owned a Maltese dog, one hedgehog, 2 Guinea pigs and my current Yorkiepoo. I am retired and just love animals. Have worked as Respiratory Therapist for 45 years, and want to help pet owners with the care of their "fur babes" when they are away from home. I used and loved the service so much, I wanted to help out pet owners the same way. I will be fairly flexible in availability. I have a fenced yard with one small 5.5 year old yorkie poo. Ringo is very well behaved and loves smaller dogs. Will be fine with dogs that have lower energy and are well socialized. I am retired and fairly flexible in availability. I live with my husband of 37 years, who is also retired and can assist with watching our pup, while I pay special attention to yours. I have a fenced yard and a large park in front, therefore, lots of space for special adventures . Our small Yorkiepoo walks daily off leash as well as on. We walk, at least 2 times per day. However, I will walk your furbabe as many times as deemed necessary. Our 4 level split home has lots of space for "exploring", with no off limit rooms. Supervision will be provided at all times. This includes on our furniture, which we cover with comfy blankets. We are a clean, non-smoking environment, and believe in comfort for human and pet alike.

“Lumanisha was excellent with Heimdall. When he first came to door Heimdall was excited but as soon as he stepped in the house Heimdall started to bark and jump at him. Lumanisha just stood there and didn’t flinch. He was able to calm Heimdall down. By the time they came back from the walk they were friends. Lumanisha is very friendly and personable. I highly recommend him.”

I have also always grown up with either dogs or cats in the home. I currently have a full-time daytime job as a counsellor. On that note as my schedule is client based, I rarely work a full 8 hour day. My hours are flexible, in that if I know about a commitment through Rover, I can block off the necessary time in advance. Currently I am available on Sundays and Mondays all day, and most weekday evenings. Depending on how far the pets are from my place of work and home, I can be flexible with offering walks even on my work days. I have experience with crating animals, so I am happy to do so if that is what your pet is used to. I will not be boarding pets in my home as I have two cats who have never been introduced to other pets in the home. I am happy have open conversations to ensure that I am following similar routines that your pet is adjusted to in your absence.

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs. My senior beagle faced significant health challenges, giving me hands-on experience with administering medication, managing severe allergies, and providing specialized care. I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, owning pets of all kinds throughout my life. Currently, I am available for drop-in visits up to two or three times per day. My flexible schedule, as a parent with school-aged children and a gardener, allows me to dedicate time to your pets. Whether it’s walking, trips to the dog park, feeding, administering medication, or simply ensuring your pets feel loved, I’m here to help. Your animals will be treated like members of my family while you’re away. I also offer overnight dog sitting at my acreage, provided it’s a good fit for my household, which includes children and other pets. I’m happy to accommodate special requests and can provide a vulnerable sector check upon request for your peace of mind. Let me make your time away stress-free, knowing your pets are in caring and capable hands! I am currently a full-time pet sitter with a flexible schedule. Since my children are school-aged, I’m available for daily drop-in visits throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I can accommodate up to two to three visits per day to ensure your pets receive consistent care. My schedule also allows for seasonal flexibility as a gardener, so I’m available year-round to meet your needs. Let me know how I can best support you and your pets! I focus on making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I follow your specific instructions for feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special needs like administering medication. About: All animals and kids gravitate to my energy which is amazing ! They know what good energy is ! I love all animals like they are my own ! I am an entrepreneur so I basically have an open schedule , can fit any animals needs. So whatever you need I can definitely be of service ! I personally prefer to animal sit at the owners home because the animals feel most comfortable there. I do have a huge yard at my pace that is gated

About: I have three dogs of my own, each with their own personality. Rocket is a playful Pomsky, Faith is my thoughtful Border Collie Lab mix, and Komo is my senior rescue who came to me as a foster and never left. I also volunteer at an animal shelter, helping with visits, transportation, and fostering when I can. It’s taught me a lot about patience, compassion, and meeting each dog where they’re at. I’ve cared for high-energy dogs, nervous rescues, and seniors who just want a quiet place to rest. My approach is calm and steady, always focused on helping dogs feel safe and respected. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I always treat them the way I’d want mine to be treated. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday routine. With three of my own, I’m used to early mornings, walks, feeding times, play, and quiet time. I work my day around their needs, so adding another dog into the mix fits in naturally. Whether it’s sticking to a routine or making a dog feel more at home, I’m happy to adjust based on what works best for them. When I care for pets, whether it’s in my home or someone else’s, safety comes first. I make sure the space is secure and free from anything that could hurt them. I pay close attention to their routine and what they like or don’t like, so they feel comfortable and not stressed out. Trust is really important to me. I take time to get to know each pet, so they know I’m not just another stranger. I’m patient and respectful, letting them come to me in their own time. I keep things calm and consistent because pets pick up on energy, and I want them to feel safe and happy while they’re with me. Honestly, it’s not just about watching them—it’s about making sure they’re truly cared for, like they’re part of the family.

About: Hello! I am a fellow dog owner and dog lover. I had over 15 years experience as a professional service dog trainer in BC, before I moved to Alberta and started a family. Although I worked primarily with retriever-type dogs, I have experience handling many different breeds. Sadly, last year we had to say goodbye to our 2 elderly dogs, a large mixbreed and small shih tzu, who were beloved members of our family. Currently, we have 2 young and friendly money standard poodles , named Dash and Jett. I am also a certified groomer with a wide variety of experience. I have fun grooming my dogs, and welcome other grooming requests from clients. We are a young family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and we love spending time outdoors and having adventures. I often miss my dog handling days, so I would love to get my dog fix through dog walking and pet sitting services. I will occasionally need to bring my children with me for drop-in visits and walks, so animals would need to be child friendly. I am able to adapt my handling style to the needs of individual dogs or by the request of owners. I am familiar with most training aids and training styles and I can easily maintain your current training and/or work on basic skills. I can provide both on and off leash dog walks depending on your location/preference. I'm currently working part-time, between 7-9AM and 2:30-4:30PM (split shifts), but I am otherwise at home and available during the week and on the weekends. I have a good sized fenced backyard that backs onto a large greenspace with plenty of trails nearby for leashed adventures. Inside my home, dogs have free run of the dining, kitchen and living areas and I'm happy to crate dogs as directed by owners. I also have a very friendly mid-sized poodle puppy to keep your dog company! To ensure that your pet is safe and comfortable, communication is key! And I will regularly send photos to keep you updated on our adventures.

About: I've owned pets of all kinds since I was very young. I have cared for senior pets, including specific meal times and pill schedules. I am the primary caregiver for my family's reactive dog and have done puppy training and older dog care. I have also taken care of other pets like bunnies, reptiles and fish! I’ve been the go to person for friends, family and people in my community. I am a recent University graduate and look forward to making animal care my full time job! I’m comfortable going anywhere rural or outside of my service radius, please ask if you’re unsure. I have lots of experience with withdrawn or nervous cats and dogs and love gaining their trust! I am comfortable spending time in your home and adjusting to your pets schedules. I am a very clean person and will always take time to clean up the home after my stay.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a young girl! I used to volunteer in a shelter as a teen, which then progressed into playing a larger role in a rescue now at 29 years old. I have fostered dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. Trained my own personal dogs from when they were 8 weeks old and on. I love animals and a job where I get to meet more cuties daily is the perfect job for me! I currently work at home as I run my own small business so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week and days to help you when you have a busy schedule! I run a small business called BKpawsandco - you can check it out on Instagram to get more of a feel about me as well! It’s all pet related 🫶🏻 I’m very caring and kind, I can treat your fur babies how I treat my own and they truly make my world go round. I’ve never met a dog or cat that hasn’t loved me and would love the chance to get to meet more on a day to day basis. My two boys are house trained and very well looked after. They have been crate trained but now being old enough they don’t require the crate anymore. I’m very good at following directions given for taking care of animals, I’m a crazy dog mom and leave PAGES when I leave my own pups so I know how important it is to follow the rules given!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been pet sitting, house sitting, plant sitting for about 6 years now for family and friends. I am happy to walk, chill, help potty train, and take care of your best friend. Whatever they need, I can typically make it happen. While I don’t have my own personal dog currently, I always treat clients as if they are my own. Happy to provide references, photo updates, etc if that is what you’d like! I am currently working part time, so I have lots of time to walk or just simply hang out with your pet. While some weeks I work summer camps, I am available in the evenings and weekends. Most of the time I only work twice a week in the summer! While I don’t usually bring dogs and cats to my personal house to respect my own pets, I do have a fenced yard in St Albert, with many trails and fields etc to take your dog to. I typically offer house-sitting with your pet, to help them stay in their own home and reduce stress. This helps keep their routine the same, resulting in a happier critter! I am happy to stay in most areas in Edmonton, just send me the address and I’ll verify before confirming with you. (I work outside of the city)

“Olya is an awesome dog walker for my super energetic 6 month old boxer/blue heeler! I love that she takes her 1 year old with her on walks so my pup can learn how to behave around small children. I also really appreciate that she takes the time to learn how I communicate with my pup whether it be hand signals or command words. As well as staying on top of our training for Arya she leaves her constructive criticism in the rover cards for each walk so I know what needs to be worked on more, but also leaves praise when Arya has been especially good! All around a great fit for my little fur baby! 10/10 would recommend!”

Isabelle G.
“There are animal lovers, and then there’s Issy—the kind of person who was simply born to care for creatures. I’ve watched her soothe horses, snuggle barn cats, laugh with dogs, and gently coax my own cat Lucy (who is famously selective with her affections) into purring snuggles. She’s not just someone who enjoys animal, she understands them. Whether it’s through her hands-on work in agriculture, caring for horses and livestock, or her years of pet-sitting experience, she has always shown animals the same things she shows the people she loves: empathy, attentiveness, and a deep respect for what makes each being unique. I trust her with my home. I trust her with Lucy, who is basically my living, breathing heart. And I’d trust her with any animal in need of love, care, and someone who gets it. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who won’t just “look after” your animal, but will adore them…you’ve found your gal!”
