About: I am a new stay at home mom that is used to caring for my children with paws and still learning the tricks to the one with toes. While I love all animals, the big slobbery ones have my heart wrapped around their drool and my big senior (7 yr Great Dane/Mastiff) guy knows it. Our little girl is actually a 120 lb mastiff/pitty cross that just turned 4 and they both love their littlest brothers (an April Fools baby and a 3 lb kitten, both of whom run the house). Killer the cat is actually a big ball of scaredy cat and Mr Fishy the Beta finishes off the attendance list. I would love to meet and care for your family members with fur as well! I am currently on maternity leave and am looking to get out of the house and get some exercise. I am confident in walking large dogs but will have my baby and stroller with me so I ask for pups that won’t pull too much. Since I have a small baby and 4 animals of my own I am not able to stay overnight but can check in any day or time. Having two extra large dogs of my own, I am confident in walking your pup and am familiar in crate training as well. I believe in force free training and can follow your lead to reinforce training and obedience into our walks and visits as well. I strongly follow the idea that trust is the best form of leadership with animals and people.

About: I have taken care of a large assortment of pets. I started dog grooming when I was 16 and did that for 20 years. I also worked at a pet store as a small animal manager. Duties included feeding, cleaning cages, engaging with a wide range of small animals, cats and birds. The department was run efficiently and I trained a small team of employees to aid in all duties. In addition to this, I also managed a grooming salon. I am able to administer medications, including injections. Pets are my sole purpose in life. I don’t have kids and I’m currently living in a no-pet home. I miss having dogs and cats. I currently snuck in a hamster named Eleanor and a fish tank with an angel fish named Jude. I have a lot of love to give and your pet will be in competent hands. My daily/weekly routine is spent loving and caring for animals. It’s not just a job, I live for it. It’s my life. I cannot have pets in my own home but I do offer pet sitting in your own home. Your pet will be comfortable in their own home as I maintain any rituals or schedules as determined by the pet’s owner. I also offer dog walking and drop in visits. I’m very thorough and will offer a great experience for your pet.

About: I'm a stay at home mom hoping to give you a helping hand with your pets. I grew up with a small dog, so I do have some pet care experience. It has been a long time since then, but I'm responsible, caring and have a compassionate heart. I know how precious your animals are and I would take great care of them while you are away. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available Monday 9 am - 6 pm Tuesday 9 am - 10 pm Wednesday 9 am - 10 pm Thursday 9 am - 10 pm Friday 9 am - 10 pm Saturday 6 am - 10 pm Sunday 11 am - 10 pm I'm a very caring and compassionate person, so I will take great care of your pets. While you are away I will feed them, refill water bowls and clean litter boxes. I will provide a lot attention by playing, snuggling and petting. If there's a place for your dog in the yard I can let them out, and if they need a short walk I'm willing to do that too.

About: I have owned a Maltese dog, one hedgehog, 2 Guinea pigs and my current Yorkiepoo. I am retired and just love animals. Have worked as Respiratory Therapist for 45 years, and want to help pet owners with the care of their "fur babes" when they are away from home. I used and loved the service so much, I wanted to help out pet owners the same way. I will be fairly flexible in availability. I have a fenced yard with one small 5.5 year old yorkie poo. Ringo is very well behaved and loves smaller dogs. Will be fine with dogs that have lower energy and are well socialized. I am retired and fairly flexible in availability. I live with my husband of 37 years, who is also retired and can assist with watching our pup, while I pay special attention to yours. I have a fenced yard and a large park in front, therefore, lots of space for special adventures . Our small Yorkiepoo walks daily off leash as well as on. We walk, at least 2 times per day. However, I will walk your furbabe as many times as deemed necessary. Our 4 level split home has lots of space for "exploring", with no off limit rooms. Supervision will be provided at all times. This includes on our furniture, which we cover with comfy blankets. We are a clean, non-smoking environment, and believe in comfort for human and pet alike.

About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs since I was in high school. Growing up I helped care for dogs in my neighboured and would routinely pet sit for my aunt who has two dogs. I do have experience caring for both senior pets and animals that have complex medical needs. That being said I have experience with medication administration with animals. I have also always grown up with either dogs or cats in the home. I currently have a full-time daytime job as a counsellor. On that note as my schedule is client based, I rarely work a full 8 hour day. My hours are flexible, in that if I know about a commitment through Rover, I can block off the necessary time in advance. Currently I am available on Sundays and Mondays all day, and most weekday evenings. Depending on how far the pets are from my place of work and home, I can be flexible with offering walks even on my work days. I have experience with crating animals, so I am happy to do so if that is what your pet is used to. I will not be boarding pets in my home as I have two cats who have never been introduced to other pets in the home. I am happy have open conversations to ensure that I am following similar routines that your pet is adjusted to in your absence.

Rocket is a playful Pomsky, Faith is my thoughtful Border Collie Lab mix, and Komo is my senior rescue who came to me as a foster and never left. About: Hello! I am a fellow dog owner and dog lover. I had over 15 years experience as a professional service dog trainer in BC, before I moved to Alberta and started a family. Although I worked primarily with retriever-type dogs, I have experience handling many different breeds. Sadly, last year we had to say goodbye to our 2 elderly dogs, a large mixbreed and small shih tzu, who were beloved members of our family. Currently, we have 2 young and friendly money standard poodles , named Dash and Jett. I am also a certified groomer with a wide variety of experience. I have fun grooming my dogs, and welcome other grooming requests from clients. We are a young family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and we love spending time outdoors and having adventures. I often miss my dog handling days, so I would love to get my dog fix through dog walking and pet sitting services. I will occasionally need to bring my children with me for drop-in visits and walks, so animals would need to be child friendly. I am able to adapt my handling style to the needs of individual dogs or by the request of owners. I am familiar with most training aids and training styles and I can easily maintain your current training and/or work on basic skills. I can provide both on and off leash dog walks depending on your location/preference. I'm currently working part-time, between 7-9AM and 2:30-4:30PM (split shifts), but I am otherwise at home and available during the week and on the weekends. I have a good sized fenced backyard that backs onto a large greenspace with plenty of trails nearby for leashed adventures. Inside my home, dogs have free run of the dining, kitchen and living areas and I'm happy to crate dogs as directed by owners. I also have a very friendly mid-sized poodle puppy to keep your dog company! To ensure that your pet is safe and comfortable, communication is key! About: I've owned pets of all kinds since I was very young. I have cared for senior pets, including specific meal times and pill schedules. I am the primary caregiver for my family's reactive dog and have done puppy training and older dog care. I have also taken care of other pets like bunnies, reptiles and fish! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a young girl! I used to volunteer in a shelter as a teen, which then progressed into playing a larger role in a rescue now at 29 years old. I have fostered dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. Trained my own personal dogs from when they were 8 weeks old and on. I love animals and a job where I get to meet more cuties daily is the perfect job for me! I currently work at home as I run my own small business so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week and days to help you when you have a busy schedule! They have been crate trained but now being old enough they don’t require the crate anymore. I’m very good at following directions given for taking care of animals, I’m a crazy dog mom and leave PAGES when I leave my own pups so I know how important it is to follow the rules given!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been pet sitting, house sitting, plant sitting for about 6 years now for family and friends. I am happy to walk, chill, help potty train, and take care of your best friend. Whatever they need, I can typically make it happen. While I don’t have my own personal dog currently, I always treat clients as if they are my own. Happy to provide references, photo updates, etc if that is what you’d like! I am currently working part time, so I have lots of time to walk or just simply hang out with your pet. While some weeks I work summer camps, I am available in the evenings and weekends. Most of the time I only work twice a week in the summer! While I don’t usually bring dogs and cats to my personal house to respect my own pets, I do have a fenced yard in St Albert, with many trails and fields etc to take your dog to. I typically offer house-sitting with your pet, to help them stay in their own home and reduce stress. This helps keep their routine the same, resulting in a happier critter! I also really appreciate that she takes the time to learn how I communicate with my pup whether it be hand signals or command words. As well as staying on top of our training for Arya she leaves her constructive criticism in the rover cards for each walk so I know what needs to be worked on more, but also leaves praise when Arya has been especially good! All around a great fit for my little fur baby! 10/10 would recommend!”

About: Your dogs will love the time to play outdoors. They will be treated like any dog would ever be treated with love and care. I love dogs and have spent many years with them and caring for them! I have spent time with many dogs doing training sessions with obedience, can always add some extra learning for them while they are with me for a walk or even staying the night with me. Will have multiple toys for your dog to keep them busy. I’m currently not working and have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! To make them happy and not worry about you not being at home or around I treat every dog like it’s one of my own. If they need any help or extra love abs attention they will get it from me.
