“Vitoria was amazing with our two dogs, she kept us informed and we were so happy with her taking them for walks. We will definitely be reaching out again to Vitoria for dog sitting and walking!”

About: My name is Samantha and I've been a lifelong lover of all creatures great and small! I am currently a mom to a 8 year old miniature schnauzer, but I've had a kitty or dog companion by my side my entire life. I'm new to Mississippi Mills and I would love to meet your pet. Friends in Ottawa have relied on me to check in on their fur babies, take them for walks, feed them dinner, or simply spend time with them! I'm very reliable, I work from home 4 out of 5 week days, have a car, am flexible and adaptive. I work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week and am typically available on evenings and weekends. If your pup likes other pups I can have them join in on my routine walks with my little schnauzer. If not, that's cool too! I'm always down for a solo walk. I will do whatever it takes to make sure your furry baby will be well taken care of! I can be trusted to do drop in visits, spend time petting, playing with, feeding or walking your baby.
About: I’m calm, intuitive, active, and experienced. I normally take long walks more than 19km a week and would love to walk dogs with me in mind of their fitness levels. I approach pet care with a focus on empathy and environmental awareness. I’ve spent years caring for neighbors' and family’s cats and dogs, and I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior. I recognize that pets are highly in tune with their surroundings and their handlers. I believe in respectful communication and maintaining the strict routines that help animals feel safe. As an independent creative professional working from a dedicated home studio, my daily routine is completely flexible and built around active, outdoor lifestyle habits. I live in a peaceful rural setting with plenty of fresh air and open space. I have a basement with direct backyard access, providing a cool, quiet retreat for pets. While my yard is unfenced, I am an experienced endurance walker and am always attentive to leashed safety and strict routines to ensure every pet feels secure in their environment.
“Cadence did an awesome job of checking up on my cats while I was away! She sent pictures of her visits and spent lots of time playing with them! Highly recommend her for her sitting services!”

“Jenna was our first successful foray into having someone come in house to walk, play with, and give our three dogs their mid-day break. They were so happy when we arrived home, and it was seamless and stress free working with her.”

“Kaela took very good care of my two cats, including administering twice daily meds for one. She arrived on time, fed and brushed each, and left my kitchen spotless. I loved the daily photos too, she managed some great shots! Will happily hire her again. Thanks so much!”

About: Hi pet owners! I’m Haylie, I am a registered nurse and have a love for animals. I have always been around animals and grew up with multiple cats, and a Great Pyrenees dog. I have looked after, and done drop ins for friends, family, and neighbours animals while they were away. I have experience with cats, dogs of all sizes, as well as senior cats and dogs. I would love to stop in to see your furry friends and give them the same attention and love you do until your return :)) I recently graduated nursing school and am awaiting to start my first position in late September. In the meantime, I thought what better way to spend my days then checking in people’s animals when they cannot. I currently have two outdoor cats that I care for, Ash and Neville. I feed them dry and wet food twice a day and lay with them outside in the grass. I used to have a Great Pyrenees named Lacey. She was a 110lb sweetheart who had her own fenced in acre of land she would roam around in. We would play fetch with her favourite tennis ball and always got the ham bones on Christmas! I am able to feed, play, potty, and clean out litter boxes as needed for your pets, and of course give them lots of love while visiting. I can also water any plants that might need some attention in your absence as well!
“Jessica is absolutely fantastic! She arrived at the same time every day which allowed for a consistent schedule for our 5 cats. They all went to her with tails up and all her pictures showed super happy cats! The is the first time I’ve travelled for a business trip and didn’t worry at all about the cats or the house. Was completely stress free. I can’t say enough about how professional she is and how at ease our pets were. Absolutely would recommend her for anyone looking for a dedicated pet sitter with an amazing ability to remove all stress for both myself and our cats. :-)”

“Trudy did a fantastic job! The kitties were very well taken care of and they barely knew I was gone. Lol she is a great communicator and was able to send me lots of pictures and video. It makes such a big difference to see those when you’re missing them but can see that they’re good.”

“Victoria is amazing ! My cat is usually timid but Victoria found a way to make her feel comfortable. She sent me updates after each drop in visits which I really appreciated !”

About: Generally, I have grown up surrounded by different animals, including dogs. I used to take our family dog for walks around the block and outside with him a lot. I live with other family who have two medium sized dogs. I talked to them and give them hugs every day and they make me laugh. During the week, my availability varies with more availability on weekends where I am able to dedicate more time to spend with your fur babies. At home, I live with two dogs. They are not my dogs specifically but I will let them outside to let them run around and/or do their business and sometimes I will sit outside with them on the porch and just relax. I am also active in my daily life as I exercise at home and go for long walks everyday down the trail. I like to absorb the nature around me on my walks. It's also a good stress reliever. When I watched over dogs in the past for family members, I would take them for walks, feed them, let them outside, and spend time with them in the house.
About: Hi! I’m Adrienne. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, whether that’s going for long walks, providing companionship, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently own two amazing dogs - a 9-year-old German Shepherd and a 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix - so I’m very familiar with caring for large, active breeds and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I’m an active, reliable, and organized person who loves spending time outdoors. Whether your dog enjoys leisurely neighbourhood strolls, longer walks on local trails, or simply having someone to keep them company, I’d be happy to help. I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and caring for both dogs and cats, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your pets with the love, attention, and care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I work for myself in Almonte so my schedule can (sometimes) be flexible! I work Tuesday - Saturday primarily and my days off are Sundays & Mondays. Fenced yard, non fenced yard, near water, crate trained, not crate trained, dog parks, walking in group, walking alone….. I’m confident in whatever makes your pet the most comfortable and happy.
About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.
