About: I’m calm, intuitive, active, and experienced. I normally take long walks more than 19km a week and would love to walk dogs with me in mind of their fitness levels. I approach pet care with a focus on empathy and environmental awareness. I’ve spent years caring for neighbors' and family’s cats and dogs, and I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior. I recognize that pets are highly in tune with their surroundings and their handlers. I believe in respectful communication and maintaining the strict routines that help animals feel safe. As an independent creative professional working from a dedicated home studio, my daily routine is completely flexible and built around active, outdoor lifestyle habits. I specialize in providing an incredibly attentive, active environment for pets ensuring they receive constant companionship throughout the day and plenty of dedicated exercise tailored to their energy levels. I live in a peaceful rural setting with plenty of fresh air and open space. I have a basement with direct backyard access, providing a cool, quiet retreat for pets. While my yard is unfenced, I am an experienced endurance walker and am always attentive to leashed safety and strict routines to ensure every pet feels secure in their environment.

About: We're in the process of opening a kennel on our 27 acre homestead, until then, we're here on Rover! Let us give your pets an enriching experience while you're away, and you peace of mind that they are in not one but two sets of good hands. Our dog Styx loves all pets, big and small, but we also have experience and infrastructure for some personal space if your pet takes a little longer to warm up or has special needs. We are currently building a kennel on our wooded retreat, and in the meantime, our home is open! We are home full-time and spend our days outside tending to the property, bringing your pets along, with lots of water and indoor breaks. We have a fenced yard and the house is able to be segmented off depending on the needs (puppy pen, cat area with dogs, cat area dog free, day crated, whatever your comfort is.

About: My name is Samantha and I've been a lifelong lover of all creatures great and small! I am currently a mom to a 8 year old miniature schnauzer, but I've had a kitty or dog companion by my side my entire life. I'm new to Mississippi Mills and I would love to meet your pet. Friends in Ottawa have relied on me to check in on their fur babies, take them for walks, feed them dinner, or simply spend time with them! I'm very reliable, I work from home 4 out of 5 week days, have a car, am flexible and adaptive. I work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week and am typically available on evenings and weekends. If your pup likes other pups I can have them join in on my routine walks with my little schnauzer. If not, that's cool too! I'm always down for a solo walk. I will do whatever it takes to make sure your furry baby will be well taken care of! I can be trusted to do drop in visits, spend time petting, playing with, feeding or walking your baby.

I currently own two amazing dogs - a 9-year-old German Shepherd and a 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix - so I’m very familiar with caring for large, active breeds and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I’m an active, reliable, and organized person who loves spending time outdoors. Whether your dog enjoys leisurely neighbourhood strolls, longer walks on local trails, or simply having someone to keep them company, I’d be happy to help. I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and caring for both dogs and cats, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your pets with the love, attention, and care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I work for myself in Almonte so my schedule can (sometimes) be flexible! I work Tuesday - Saturday primarily and my days off are Sundays & Mondays. About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.

About: I’ve been house and pet-sitting since I was 16. Always making sure my friends and family can step away with zero stress and their fur babies are the star of the show! I’ve taken care of small to medium sized mostly, but large dogs a few times. No matter where I go, pets gravitate towards me! My schedule is very flexible and I have great knowledge of the city with reliable transportation. I play sports in the evening a few days a week but nothing that can’t be worked around I will ensure I study the area my clients live in and discuss the areas and routines your pets are accustomed to. Also, the type words they respond to. I always want to ensure they will feel safe and comfortable.

I am located in Arnprior but can travel up to 30 mins for an additional fee if required :) Always the person who manages to become friends with the dog or cat at any event! I am Available Monday tuesdays &Thursdays after 5, Fridays Saturday’s and sundays all day and evening! I am reliable and have transportation that will allow animals to be comfortable in an SUV if needed. can take your dog for walks near your home or to a dog park. Available last minute. Drop in visits are up to 1.5hours . I offer cat care in your home as well!
