About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been caring for them since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I often looked after my neighbours’ cats, dogs, and rabbits while they were away - something i relished, as I wasn't allowed my own pet in the house (excluding fish, which i had many- i took what i could get!). Since moving out I have adopted several cats of my own and have continued to pet sit for friends regularly (both cats and dogs). They know they can always count on me if they need a sitter. :) Caring for animals has always felt like something that comes naturally to me; I love getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and little quirks. Most recently, I have cared, on multiple occasions, for three elderly and sick cats. Each has different health needs, medications, and eating schedules, so I made sure to carefully follow their routines and give each one the attention and care they needed. I also provided regular updates to assuage any understandable fears that the parents had. I’m reliable, responsible, and very attentive, and I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is always to make your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I recently moved from Vancouver Island back to my home city of Ottawa and am currently unencumbered by a full-time job. I am available 24/7 for attentive pet care, ranging from walks, feeding and check-ins, to multiple night stays. When caring for your pet in their own home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping their usual routine and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to take care of their everyday needs, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter or bathroom breaks, and administering medications when needed. I’ll take the time to follow any specific instructions you leave me and pay close attention to your pet’s behaviour, making sure they are happy, comfortable, and safe throughout my visit. I also understand that every pet is different, so I’ll adapt to their personality and needs; whether they’re playful and energetic, shy and cautious, or simply looking for some extra companionship.

About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered

“Lisa is incredible! This was our first time using a service for our dog, so it was a difficult decision to have some new watch our do, and spend the time doing it from our home. While Lisa stayed at our home, we agreed for her to bring her dog as well, who played with ours all the time and is such a good boy. So kind, easy going, friendly and playful. She took our dog for walks, drives, to see Christmas lights, to her animal sanctuary, all with advance permission of course. She communicates all the time, sent pictures, videos and comments about the fun he is having, keeping me always in the loop. When we arrived home, our house was in perfect condition. I actually wondered if it was cleaner then we had left it! :) I highly recommend Lisa, without a doubt. She is so kind, friendly, and so lovely. About: I grew up with tons of different pets in the house; from puppies to Guinea pigs and everything in between. I genuinely love spending my time with animals. Whether that be on a long sunny morning walk or cuddling on the couch with a good book in hand. I work fully remotely so my schedule is flexible. I have my own dog and she enjoys frequent sniffs outside and lots of cuddles, so I’m used to taking breaks. I have a lovely, friendly Pomeranian of my own who shares my home with me. I live near lots of walking trails and live a quiet, peaceful life.
