I am a registered nurse with a live se in goodstanding, I have cared for people and pets with the utmost respect and love! I am looking to walk dogs mainly but am also available for drop ins and house pet sitting if it aligns with my life. I am very observant, caring and great at documenting anything that may look out of the normal and going well with your furry friends.

I currently do not have a dog as mine passed and my place is not a dog friendly spot. This is another reason I wished to get out walking and visiting other dogs to fill that void until I'm in a place that I can live with my future dog.
A typical day
I am happy to take dogs for walks longer then 30 mins to explore forest trails and parks. Smelling and exploring and getting near or in the water with owner approval and safety. I love giving hugs and pets and playing with toys to stimulate the dog and also fetch if that is enjoyed!

Pet care experience
I have grown up with a number of medium breeds and large breed sport and working dogs. I rescued an abused presa canario which I raised from 2 years to 10 years. I am not shy with large intact males as I have lots of experience with reassurance, consistency, obedience and dominance as well as recent experience dog sitting and caring for long term two gun dog hound breeds which I love their drive and energy! I have the patience and tolerance for some of the attitude and energy levels of those breeds. They made me fall in love with bird and hunting breed dogs even more! I have had a few dogs as puppies so I do have experience with the basic obedience and training skills. I have experience with medications, injections and wound care for animals as well as 15 years as a registered nurse for caring for humans! I am practiced with nail trimming with large dogs with anxiety behaviours. I enjoy and am comfortable with puppies and senior dog care! My nursing background has made me unbothered by messes and sickness which is helpful in caring for puppies and senior doggies! I genuinely love dogs and most animals I find alot of joy in caring for others and animals 😊

What a great experience with Jessica! She was reliable, quick to respond, and sent us so many updates while we were away. I usually have a hard time leaving my dogs with others, but I never had any doubts with Jessica. She connected with all of my animals instantly.
Jessica was so warm and friendly and our dog loved her from the first visit. Charlie is an older diabetic dog so extra care and medical comfort is necessary and Jessica was wonderful with all his care. She sent some photos and notes about their activities. Our house was just as we left it and we are sure hoping that Jessica is available for our next trip. Highly recommended!!
As usual Jessica does a great job with our baby girl. Sue sends tons of pictures and my girl always looks happy and relaxed.
Jessica is very professional; calm and confident in her handling of Ella and Jewel … typical labs! 😊 We’re happy to have found her and will definitely be return customers.
