About: I’ve been helping my friends’ dogs for past few years. From small to medium sized dogs, I always find ways to have a fun time and take care of them. I have a very flexible schedule that can accommodate to your pet needs! Day or night, weekday or weekend, I can be there to help. I have a car so I can get to where I need to be quickly. I always check for hazards to ensure your pet is safe from endangering itself. I look for possible entries and exits to know where your pet can run off to or hide, ensuring I can keep track of possible scenarios.

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. This also mean I will follow any rules that the owner has set out

About: Experience with reactive and medically complex dogs of all ages. Have lived with dogs aged 7 weeks up to 16 years. Experience with nose work, agility, and obedience training. I am currently working as a remote consultant and am able to fully control my schedule! I typically get out with pups first thing in the morning for a larger walk/outing, but this depends on the dog and their needs. Your dog will be the only animal in the home while they are cared for. I am happy to accommodate any communication needs you have to help you feel comfortable (3 pics a day, no problem!) Or any other specific needs that are communicated ahead of time.

About: I will treat your pets like they are my family to! Hi, I'm Allison. I was born & raised on the Sunshine Coast & it is my forever home. In my 34 years I have loved & cared for many animals including: cats, dogs, reptiles, amphibians, mice, bunnies, & guinea pigs! I have been cat and dog sitting and walking for quite a few different clients up & down the coast on and off Rover. I've stayed for a week or more at a time & made sure they had daily walks, play, feeding, cleaning up after them, and keeping the home clean. I also have my dog and cat first aid certificate through red cross, and 2 certificates of completion through PIJACC (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada) for care of small animals & also reptiles & amphibians. I currently have 2 wonderful cats, as well as 5 reptiles in my care at home. I'm very experienced with puppies & kittens, as well as senior pets, and have given oral medications countless times. I also have quite a lot of experience with reactive dogs. If I'm given details on what causes them to be reactive I can make sure they have a fun and safe walk and relaxing time at home! Animals are my passion and this is what I do for my career, so I'm always available to walk, drop in, or pet sit day & night! (As long as my rover calander says I'm available) I'm always able to stay with your pets 24/7 until you return. I'm currently only on the Sunshine Coast. I'm a very calm & kind presence with animals, but I do love to play and be silly with the pets once they get to know me. My utmost priority is to have your pet trust me & feel completely safe. I'm a rule follower & do everything in my power to make it the best and most comfortable experience for your fur family.

Ultimately we decided to cut the care short by a day as in the end it just wasn’t a fit and paid Sarah an incremental fee, at her request, for the additional time spent getting our dogs out the door - which we were more than happy to do. About: I'm the perfect CASUAL or FILL IN dog walker and/or pet sitter. I come from a long line of pet lovers and have had dogs and cats for most of my life. I recently lost my beautiful Yotie (red heeler, husky, shepherd) who I was blessed to have for 16.5 wonderfully adventurous years. I believe that our pets are family members and that it's important to meet an animal where it's at, both physically and emotionally. I approach all my four-legged friends with a calm and respectful attitude and will only give cuddles when they ask. I am the perfect casual "fill in" walker or sitter. I do a lot of contract work (in film/tv) so have gaps and down time in my schedule to fill it up with dog walks and pet visits. I would prefer to only have max three dogs at a time for walks so they will all fit comfortable in my vehicle should we want to adventure into the hiking trails or to the beach. I will work with the owners to have suitable treats on hand, doggie bags, portable water dishes and appropriate leashes etc.
