About: Hi! I'm Abby! **PROMO CODE $20 OFF for your first booking with Rover: ABIGAT21229**. *$5 of every house sit or board will be donated to the Ontario SPCA in your pet(s) name*. I am an absolute animal lover and owner of two cats and two dogs! I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals, including cats and dogs of all sizes and breed, often for weeks at a time. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve cared for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, geckos, and even horses! I’ve volunteered at both the SPCA and a veterinary office, where I gained hands on experience and training. I’m trained in pet first aid for dogs and cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following strict dietary routines. I pride myself on being responsible, reliable, and fully committed to the well being of every animal in my care. As a pet owner I understand the stress of having to leave a fur baby behind and my top priority is making sure your pet is safe, comfortable and happy while waiting for your return. My schedule is flexible and can easily be adjusted to meet the specific needs of your pet. *BOARDING* Cats boarded will have their own room away from the resident cats and complete with a cat tree by a window, scratcher, 2 litter boxes cleaned multiple times daily and filled with tidy cats unscented litter, bed, blankets, food and water dish, nightlight and toys. I offer various wet food and treat options at no extra charge and complimentary nail trimming if requested. No dogs will be present in the house at the time of cat boarding. Cats will not be left in the home unattended, will have lots of play time and owners will be provided with regular updates. Ensuring the safety of pets in the home and on walks is my top priority. I am well versed with crafty escape artist cats and dogs and ensure pets are safe and secure. On dog walks, I use appropriate leashes and harnesses, stay vigilant to surroundings, and avoid potential dangers to keep dogs safe and comfortable. I closely supervise all pets, especially those with special needs or young animals, and monitor their behavior for signs of stress or illness. I follow all care instructions from owners meticulously, including medication schedules, dietary restrictions, and walking routines. I am comfortable and experienced administering medication in pill form, liquid form, and injections. With my training in pet first aid, I am prepared to respond calmly and quickly in any emergency! Most importantly I make sure pet parents stay informed with regular updates and photos! *I am trained in CPR and first aid for both dogs and cats*

“Adam is awesome. He came for a drop in while we were out at a medical appointment. He took lots of pictures, fed our guys lunch, let them outdoors and played lots. He was also really accommodating, driving a bit of a distance to our house to do a meet-and-greet first. We have already booked him for an overnight pet-sitting in our home next month. Adam is friendly, easygoing, attentive, good with details, and most importantly, awesome with dogs. He's a natural.”

“Kendra bonded with our skittish rescue puppy immediately. She is always on time and provides updates when necessary. Her availability is always updated and scheduling is a breeze.”

About: I will make your pets feel like they are loved and feel at home, they will want to come and stay again and again after their first visit. I am currently not working so I have availability daily and would love to start helping families leave their furry friends somewhere safe while they work or adventure off into the world. I have a smoke and pet free home which can make you feel more at home leaving your furry family members to be cared for.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I couldn't even imagine life without the joy and boundless happiness that come from dogs. I always knew I wanted to work with dogs. So straight out of high-school I went to grooming school, and learned how to groom dogs. I spent a few years grooming dogs and had people come from an hour away to have me groom their dogs as I had a knack for the ones that really didn't like being groomed. I moved to the city and grooming became a weekend gig for friends and I sadly got caught up in the warehouse world. Fast forward to 2020, I did an online course to learn all about dog training. I earned my certificate and helped friends and family with training tips I had learned. I currently work full time but I am willing to put in the time and energy to slowly transition into part time work and to make walking dogs part of my every day routine. I will follow any rules you lay out for your household. I do not have my house available for care as I have cats that tend to not like strange dogs, and your dogs safety is at the top of the list.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and have actively taken care of multiple dogs for the past 18 years. Many friends and family member of mine have always trusted me with their pets, and cared for them for a month at a time, including a 6 year old Maltese poodle blind dog. I’ve had pets in and around the house ever since I was a little kid. I grew up with a Siberian husky, an Akita, a German shepherd, and a cat, so I’ve always known how to handle and care for any size of pet! I’m currently working part-time so I have extremely flexible hours and plenty of time to care for your fur baby, as I understand that they need the extra love, plenty of cuddles and play time, especially when they are away from home! I am a very active person and I love taking daily walks, so I’d be more than happy to be accompanied by your pups. 😊

About: Have owned cats dogs and a variety of small animals over the years pet /house sitting for family and friends my real love is for horses but unfortunately have never owned one I am currently working part time in senior care in the community so have plenty availability and I am very flexible with times and special needs Prepared to follow whatever the pets established routine is and always extra love and playtime Feeding and cleaning as required and if overnight happy to snuggle

About: I've been a pet owner for over 12 years and have raised a range of companions from small animals and fish to my ball python, Moo, and my quartet of cats, Goober, Bjorn, Natasha, and Moo! I have experience administering oral medication and performing tasks including baths, nail trimming, eye drops, and ear cleaning. When I'm not cuddling with my babies, I'm probably drawing them instead. I'm an artist in the animation industry and animals are often my favourite subject to paint. I probably won't be able to resist drawing your pet(s) too! <3 I am a freelance artist working from home so my schedule is very flexible! For housesitting, I'll often squeeze in some drawing time when we're just chillaxing at home. I like to be with company so I'll rarely stray too far away from your pet! I like quietly sitting together and building trust with gentle play and talk. I try not to pick up cats unless necessary, especially if they're skittish. Dog walks will always be done leashed and on safe property like parks and non-congested areas. I can crate dogs and am comfortable moving them into separate rooms if needed.

About: I’ve had pets in my family my whole life. Dogs, cats, lizards, ferrets. Self proclaimed, expert eye drop giver, cream applier & pill hider. My friend/neighbour has a Great Dane, who I regularly take out for walks, have her over for cuddles and sit in with her at her place while my friend is away. Pets are family! I’m currently working full time. Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. I have a loving, sweet, dog named Cece whom I adopted. She sleeps all day in my apt while I work. And we hangout together all weekend. I am in an apartment with an elevator. In the back is a large open grass area, where my dog Cece and her friends have off leash plays. There is also a large park and walking trails right in my backyard. My dog requires eye drops multiple times a day so I’m comfortable with medical needs if needed. In my home Cece varies where she sleeps between with me in my bed and in her own bed. Cece is my baby, and I will treat your baby just as my own!

Abigail T.
“I can’t say enough good things about Abby. She has cared for both my late dog and now my puppy, and her kindness, reliability, and deep love for animals have always shone through. When she looked after my senior dog, her compassion and attentiveness brought us such peace of mind. She treated her with incredible patience and gentleness, as if she were her own. After her passing, she was genuinely empathetic and understanding, a true reflection of the bond she builds with the pets in her care. Now, watching her with my new puppy has been just as heartwarming. She's playful, responsible, and completely tuned in to his needs and personality. It's clear that she not only enjoys what she does but is genuinely passionate about animals. Her commitment goes beyond just feeding and walking, she takes the time to connect, reassure, and engage with pets in a way that makes all the difference. I trust her completely.”

June M.
“June has been walking my dogs for a couple of years now, she is soo good with them and when they are with her I know they are in the best hands out there! I highly recommend her she is truly the best with my dogs and they absolutely adore seeing her!”

Emily R.
“Emily washes our yellow lab, Maximus. He is older and extra large and requires extra care. Emily shows Max affection and care for Max so much so that he gets excited every time he sees her. In the past I have had issues with other staff who did not do a good job washing his ears. She went above and beyond to make sure his ears were well cleaned. This is just one example how she goes above to make sure that his needs are met.”

Bree adopted her senior dog, Cece, over 3 years ago and has given her the greatest life an elderly dog could ask for. It is a perfect reflection of who she is as a person and dog owner.
