About: About Me Pets have always been a very special part of my life. Growing up on a farm gave me lots of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and a variety of animals and I’ve been lucky to share my home with furry friends of different ages over the years. As a recently retired Kindergarten teacher, I now have more time to do something else that I truly love — spending time with animals! Teaching taught me the value of patience, routine, consistency and recognizing that every individual has their own personality and needs. I bring that same approach to pet care. I am available for dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits, and am happy to adapt each visit to your pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. I’m comfortable providing senior care and have experience administering oral and topical medications. I'm patient, gentle, and attentive to your pet’s behaviour & comfort level and will a focus on making every visit a positive experience. I have been dog sitting over the past two years for friends and family all different kinds of breeds :) I work full-time but have usually 3 to 4 days off in a row a week to take care of your lovely pet!
