About: I have always had a love for dogs and that followed me into adulthood where I've spent the last five years working in rescue. Within the last few years, I've pursued my passion of co-founding and becoming the director of a local dog rescue in the GTA (MUTTS Dog Rescue) and embarked on various trips to the US and across Canada to help save and rehome dogs in need. I've fostered 10 dogs (and counting) from 5 weeks old and up, fostered four baby kittens, helped care for three family dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, dog sat a number of times, and currently have two rescue dogs (a husky/lab/shep x and a meximutt) and three cats. Working in rescue has helped me gain a deeper understanding of a dog's mannerisms and behaviours which allows me to advocate for them in the way they deserve. I work from home full-time which allows me more than enough time and flexibility to provide all the things needed to help you and your pets out! With over 25 years of experience under my belt, I have the confidence and knowledge to properly care for your pet whether that be through crating, feeding, walking and/or providing medication. A double leash will be beneficial should the dog be a flight risk and a loose lead walk will be given with proper corrections if needed. My main priority is the safety of your dog. Pet care is a part of my every day life with 2 dogs and 3 cats. I will always make time for my pets and in turn make time for yours! Our pets receive the utmost of care. We have a large fenced yard, multiple crates in the home to provide safety and security, gates in the home to ensure dogs don’t get into anything they shouldn’t, toys are away to manage proper play.

About: My family has had a cat almost my whole life! Love the sassy and loveable felines. I also love dogs! I have been dog sitting over the past two years for friends and family all different kinds of breeds :) I work full-time but have usually 3 to 4 days off in a row a week to take care of your lovely pet! My girlfriend also works from home and is amazing with cats and dogs! Between the two of us, your furry family member will be taken care of 24/7. Happy to drop in before and after work as well for drop ins. Happy to walk dogs and take care of cats in my home in Barrie. Mr. Gizmo doesn't like major changes like new friends in his house so unfortunately for myself he has decided to stay with my parents.

About: I have hands on experience with daily dog walks and drop in visits, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and leash walks. I'm comfortable following specific routines and instructions and always make sure pets feel calm and cared for during each visit. I can also send updates and photos so you can feel confident while you're away. I work about 25-30 hours at a spa. I have Sunday and Monday's off, half of Saturdays and can always do before or after work. During drop in visits, I focus on safety, routine and comfort. I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime or walks, and make sure pets feel calm and cared for.

About: I began taking care of dogs at 12 years old, starting with my first puppy. I have participated in various puppy classes to support my family dogs as a child, and now as an adult I continue to take part in this learning. I am enrolled with my newest pup now to support his learning, and mine! In my experience over the years with dogs, I have built confidence in taking care of the spectrum of ages from puppies and senior dogs. I am happy to spend time in your backyard letting your pup sniff around or play fetch. I also am keen to get your dog out of the house and moving to walk on routes they are comfortable with or explore new spaces.

About: Dogs - I have owned a dog since I was little and there has rarely ever not been one in the house. Cats- I have owned cats before and also kittens as well. I have completed a full 2 credit Co op at the OSPCA when in high school. I have lots of personal experience and knowledge with dogs and cats, either owning or taking care of them. I do have a full time job but I love to spend my time off caring for animals and getting to know new people and their pets :) I am respectful, easy going, polite, and punctual. I look forward to getting to know you and your animal(s). I currently work full time at Costco but I make time out of my schedule for taking care of animals because I love to do it I own a dog and he is very friendly. I’ve had him since he was a pup and he’s high energy so we spend time on a lot of walks, and we do a lot of enrichment time whether it’s just playing or doing tasks for treats. If I were to come to a clients home I am very respectful and will focus on your pet and make sure all their needs are met and are well looked after. About: There has never been a period in my life that I have not owned a pet of my own. I also have experience working in vet clinics and caring for other people's pets in my own home. I love all animals of all shapes, sizes and needs. I work from home most days and can schedule my day as needed, meaning I can get up to attend to pets at any time. My evenings and weekend are work free. I enjoy getting outdoors for walks with dogs and enjoy curling up with a cat and reading a book. Play time in a pets day is essential as well and lots of time is spent having fun! I have a 2 story home with finished basement. I have 2 cats, our dog sadly passed away recently but we are family that loves dogs. 2 teenage girls who are also animal lovers who have always had pets in their lives. About: I have had dogs my whole life, I grew up with just about every animal around. I currently have two adorable French Bulldogs. I have a lot of experience with large and small dogs. I worked at the spca for almost 4 years also did large animal vet tech. I love taking my dogs on long walks and playing with any dog! I am comfortable feeding and even feeding raw dog food if needed also. I currently work shift work and I am able to help out on my days off when needed. Some weekends are available also. I don’t mind early or later visits. I have experience with dogs that are reactive pullers or need extra attention. Large or small dogs and any breeds. I can do long walks or short walks to fit your dogs needs. If your dog need extra attention like a little play time I can also do that too!

About: Hi! I’m a compassionate and reliable pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and needs. My background includes looking after a young small dog while providing care for a senior citizen, which involved daily walks, feeding, bathing, and keeping the space clean by managing pee pads. Most recently, I worked as an in-home dog caregiver for two medium-sized dogs ages 1 and 3 . I was responsible for walking them multiple times a day, maintaining their feeding schedule, giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and ensuring the home stayed safe and secure while the owners were on vacation. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and take pride in providing safe, attentive, and loving care—whether that means going on long walks, sticking to a feeding routine, or simply keeping pets company while their humans are away. About: I've lived my whole life with pets, and am a very responsible pet owner. Currently do not have any dogs of my own, just one Siamese cat who also loves dogs and will want to play with yours(can handle any size of dog). I use a lot of affection, play time/exercise and positive reinforcement training to help your dog feel comfortable while away from their family. I've even trained my own dogs to bow, roll over, and play dead (as well as the usual commands)! My current availability is very flexible, over weekends and the holidays as well and I am happy to make accommodations for you and your dog if the fit is right. She is friendly with other dogs while boarding so I would not have any concerns. But if needed I do have the space to keep your pet separate/crated.

About: I have always had pets my whole life and believed that my kids should grow up with pets. I treat my pets like my fur babies. So when I go away or they are sick it’s important that they get proper care. I also understand that people need to work and sometimes having pets makes that a wee bit challenging. That’s where I can come in. Our pets get sick and require medicine that has to be given sometimes throughout the day and taking time off work doesn’t always fit into the schedule, I can help with that. I have dogs (my younger one) that has energy I also have a grandbaby puppy (my son) and they require walks more often then sometimes we can give them or they need that extra visit to help with energy levels for when you get home. I can help with that I love dogs … I would definitely say that I am a dog mom. I will care for your fur babies like they were my own At present I work only weekends but will be retiring this coming year. I am available to help out with your pet Monday to Thursday (anytime ) and Friday after 11am I think meeting me you will see that I am a dog mom. I have no problem helping with cats but we all know cats are a very independent creature. If they require medicine I can help with that. Dogs require more hands on attention which I can help with that. I would treat your pet like it’s my own and coming into your home I will respect that as well. Trust is everything !
