“Ellie and Will were excellent with Cooper. We were able to do a meet and greet ahead of time to get him situated to their home. They were communicative and responsive, and sent pictures! Cooper had a great time. Next time we are in Canmore we will definitely reach out again!”

About: Hi, I’m Dusty. I work full-time as a restaurant supervisor and bartender, but during my time off, I offer part-time dog walking and pet care through Rover. Outside of Rover, I also care for friends’ dogs—everything from the biggest, fluffiest Newfoundland to the tiniest, sassiest corgi. As a former dog owner of 5 years myself, I know how much love, consistency, and attention pets need, and I’m here to provide that when you can’t be there. I’m comfortable with basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “leave it,” and I’ve picked up helpful training tips through time spent with a professional dog trainer. Whether your dog needs a long walk, some playtime, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m available for morning walks, midday check-ins, and evening visits on my days off—and I always provide updates with photos and notes after every visit. Looking forward to meeting your pup soon! I work full-time as a restaurant supervisor with a flexible schedule. I’m available for morning walks, midday check-ins, and evening care on my days off.. I follow each pet’s routine, provide walks, play, and attention, ensure their comfort and safety, and keep owners updated with photos and messages every visit.

“Kristen was great! We were in Canmore on a trip and needed our dog Miley to be watched for one night last minute, and she helped us out. She has a yard, and took her on a long walk, swimming and gave her a lot of attention.”

“I left my dog with Jessica for a day and overnight after a first successful day, and everything went perfectly! I was able to fully enjoy my road trip knowing Pixelle was in great hands. Jessica sent me regular updates with photos from walks and time at home, which was very reassuring. I highly recommend her!”

About: Looking for someone who will take care of your pet like it's hers? Look no further! I have experience with pets of all ages and sizes, from having pets myself and caring for others' for many years now. SPECIFIC NEEDS: For those needing some extra care, I also have experience in managing certain specific behaviours (teenage dogs, high energy breeds, reactivity, resource guarding, etc.). SCHEDULE: I'm lucky enough to work from home and be able to keep an eye on your pet all day. I will follow your pet's regular schedule. I know every animal is different and that's why I adapt all the activities to your pet's needs and limitations. SAFETY: Walks are always on leash unless you want us to go to the dog park, and play sessions are done in a safe environment.

“This experience with Devon and her partner Jordan has been fantastic! They’re such a nice couple and really love dogs! They were very flexible with the time change that I needed on the pick up date, which was really helpful to me as I was on a work trip. I would really highly recommend the sitter to anyone!”

“Kayla was great to work with. She took our pup out to the park and for walks with her family. Our dog came home happy and tired! Kayla was very open and quickly responded to messages. Ridley seemed to fit in well with their family routine. We will definitely use Kayla again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life—literally! Since I was a baby, my family has had everything from giant Saint Bernards to energetic Australian Shepherds, a cuddly Sheepoo, and now an English Bulldog. Between my mom’s house and my dad’s, I’m always surrounded by a pack, so I’ve had experience with all kinds of personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Whether it’s keeping up with high-energy pups or giving a little extra care to seniors, I’ve seen it all. I also genuinely love being outdoors, so your dog will get lots of fresh air, exercise, and adventure on our walks. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently working at a golf course for the summer, so my schedule is flexible and I never work more than 8 hours a day—most shifts are even shorter. I have my own car, so I’m always able to get to where I’m needed. I already go on daily walks, so adding a four-legged walking buddy is a perfect fit! On my days off (usually two per week), I love spending time outdoors hiking and camping, so staying active with dogs is something that naturally fits into my lifestyle. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer walk, I’m happy to give your pet the attention and exercise they deserve. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or staying overnight in your home, I always treat pets with love, patience, and respect—just like they’re my own. I understand how important routine is, so I’ll make sure to stick closely to your dog’s regular schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. When staying in a client’s home, I’m mindful of your space and aim to keep things clean, calm, and comfortable for your pet. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe and at ease while you’re away, so they get consistent care and plenty of attention.

“I contacted Jackie last minute to watch Meeka for what I thought would be an afternoon. We were on a climbing trip and didn’t anticipate being so late. Jackie was a lot more flexible than most would be. Thanks for taking care of Meeka so well.”
