About: I was lucky enough to grow up in a household with all types of childhood companions. From a very young age I was learning the responsibilities of caring for young puppies, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even guinea pigs to name a few. Today, that passion has grown into a deep commitment to providing thoughtful, reliable, and loving care for every pet I meet. Whether your pet is playful and outgoing or shy and slow to warm up, I take the time to connect with them at their own pace. I believe in treating all animals with patience, kindness, and respect just like family. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I follow routines closely, give plenty of attention and affection, and make sure they feel loved while you're away. I also provide regular updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands with me! I currently have a full time job as an Early Childhood Educator. With that being said I only have a 4 day work week which allows me to have lots of spare time throughout the weekend and Mondays. I often keep my weekends pretty quiet which allows for a lot of flexibility. I would also be open to week day walks/drop ins depending on the time needed! I would prefer to meet your pet before the first official booking to better understand their personality, routine and any special needs they may have. Together we could create a personalized pet care routine that meets the unique needs of your furry friend! For a drop in visit I would also ensure to respect your home by keeping your pet secure, and making sure the environment is safe and tidy before my departure.

About: I am a huge lover of animals, and I’d love to take care of yours! I have a lot of experience with animals; I grew up in the country where we had lots of dogs, cats and cows. I’ve volunteered around the world to tend for exotic animals prior to their release. In addition, I’ve volunteered with parrots at the sanctuary in Carleton Place. While I’d love to get my own dog or cat for my place, I’d like to save up for their care beforehand. Whatever your pet needs from medications, extra long walks or a special diet, I am happy to work with them. I’m excited to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work full time at FreshCo in Carleton Place. It is a half hour drive but my boyfriend and roommate are typically home during different hours if you’re comfortable with them letting the dogs out etc. I’ve added my schedule below. My schedule: Sun 12-8 Mon 9-4 Tues 10-5 Wed 12-9 (can be adjusted to 3-9 if a dog is staying with us) Thurs 10-5 I have a clean recently purchased condo townhome. I have a small fenced in backyard and lots of areas and trails to walk pets. I have most necessities for animals such as pet food bowls, toys, litter boxes etc. Our home is very sound proof so if your dog is particularly loud that’s okay.

Katie deals with that no problem, her loving and calm demeanor is exactly what my pup needs. And now Pippi waits for her daily walkie with Katie at the door in anticipation. About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life. My family bred Labradors, Great Danes, and Rottweilers while I grew up, so have a lot of exposure with doggy care. About: I am an avid animal lover who is currently walking two dogs for my friends. I walk them daily and love to explore nature and new areas with them. This is not my first experience in animal care. I have always been surrounded by animals. All through my life I have owned pets from dogs, to cats, birds, fish and small critters, most of the time having more than 3 animals in the house at once. All of the dogs I have owned have taught me so much about how special pets and animals are. They are more than just a dog, they are a family member, a true friend that is always there for you. I used to have a dog, rabbit and a parrot for more than 9 years back home. I love playing with the animals. Recently my 9-year-old rabbit expired. My pets used to travel a lot with my family and me. About: Joelhyn has been a dog walker and dog sitter since she was about 14 or 15 years old. She started by babysitting and those families entrusted her with their pets while the family was away, to care for and clean their dogs and cats. She also walked dogs for some of the older neighbours in the area who couldn’t do it themselves anymore. Shes taken many different kinds of dogs on walks, given them baths, fed them to specific instructions and played with them till the sun went down! Kyle has owned pets his whole life, always having two dogs in the house as well as two cats and various types of reptiles or rodents throughout the household too, so specific instructions for pets is not uncommon for him. He loves to play with any type of pet & loves to go on walks with them. Joelhyn is currently working and in school both part time but would love to spend her spare days with your lovely furry friends! Kyle is in school part time as well & we both own vehicles so getting around is no problem for us! One of us should always be available to care for your pets! Bigger dogs will almost always go to Kyle but he loves the smaller pets too! Assuring doors or gates are closed before bringing animals outside & always ensuring collars and leashes are on before going outside and before leaving a clients home. Walking dogs in a safe area and making sure to give them lots of time to walk or run as well as bringing poop bags to properly dispose of later on. We would love to do a meet and greet so you feel comfortable with us & get to know your pet!

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life and am the go to pet sitter for my friends and family members! I have the biggest soft spot for dogs and cats and will treat any animal like it’s my own. I do a lot of volunteer work in Central and South America working at Shelters and helping rescue and care for sick and endangered animals. We walk, feed, wash and give love to these animals and find them loving homes. I took a break from offering services on Rover the last year (2024) as I backpacked the world for 7 months, volunteering my time at various animal rescues and shelters where my passion for helping animals sky rocketed. I am now back in Ottawa and beyond eager to fill my day with animals again. I work from home and am very flexible and spontaneous so please reach out if you need anything! I keep my attention on any pet I’m watching and wouldn’t let them get away without my supervision. I treat them with full love and only want their safety. I live in a nice neighbourhood with lots of great walking trails and parks.
