I have had many pets and love their companionship and have also included them in my daily routine I’m currently unemployed after 34 years with the same employer, I am dependable and experienced as evidenced by the amount of dedicated service to my former employer. About: I am an ANIMAL LOVER! My name is May Fredericks, I’m 22 and a student at King’s College preparing to begin grad school soon. I major in environmental science and chemistry, and I hope to become a scientific diver working with marine life or in wildlife rehabilitation. To me, animals are the ultimate example of unconditional love and teach us humans more lessons than we realize. That’s why caring for them means so much to me. I always do my absolute best to give pets the same love, patience, and attention they give us. I am a full time student at King’s college. Most days I have class from 11am - 2 pm. Tuesdays are my long days. I am in class from 12:30pm- 5 pm. But I’m available all day during weekends and holidays!! I have a fenced yard and my neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly. I don’t usually board pets in my home, but I am open to it.

About: I've grown up around labs since my grandparents were breeders. All my aunts have had labs (usually more than one at a time), so I've gotten the chance to look after them and give them walks when they were away on vacation. My most recent experience was with my roommate's St Bernard. Optimus is the largest dog I've ever cared for let alone lived with. He's been a ton of work considering his previous owner's unfortunate lack of care. We've dealt with ear infections and bulking up to a healthy weight. Throughout all, patience and determination prevailed and he's our big buddy. I'm currently working three 12-hour shifts each week providing me evenings on work days and full days twice during week and all weekend for caring for cats. I'm unavailable Wednesday evenings and weekend mornings for religious reasons. I have a clean home vacuumed every morning with plenty of windows for looking out of. Scratching posts are in every room with plenty of toys and treats to go around. I love petting cats and giving belly rubs if that's their thing.

About: I have taken care of animals since childhood. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fancy mice, african soft furred rats, small birds, aquatic turtles, fresh water fish, and ball pythons. I have known since childhood that I wanted to care for animals. During childhood I spent my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter. Helping clean animal pens and crates. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start and end my days by making sure pets are fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention. When at a clients home, I treat the space with respect and make sure to stick to the pets routine. About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! If my Rover prices are too high for your budget, shoot me a message and I can help you stay in your range! I'm flexible, especially since all pets are different and require different amounts of work! I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, both big and small. I’ve dog sitted for a couple of dogs around my neighborhood. We have trained my dog to walk off leash. Very active and would love to take your dog on a hike with me! Working part time throughout the summer. Free on weekends. Would love to stop by for early morning and evening walks/hikes! Overnight house sitting would fit right in with work. Before meeting the dog, I’ll make sure we acclimate to each others spaces. Allowing the dog to become accustomed to who I am and comfortable being walked or taken care of by me. Hopefully we’ll meet more than once and I’ll become recognizable and a friendly playmate!

About: I've taken care of dogs of all shapes and size dogs for over a decade. I've had two dogs personally that recently have passed away and I am looking to help fill that missing piece by helping other pet lovers. Caring for your pet is something I take very seriously and will care for them as if they are my own. I work from home, so I am open an able to care for your pet throughout the day, depending on their needs and your request. I work from home, so my daytime schedule is flexible because of that. I can pop in or work from your home to care for your pet. I live alone with a fenced in yard. I had two dogs of my own (recently passed) so my house is already puppy proof, but if the dog sitting is in your home, I will follow any instructions you provide with in-home care and to pop in for dog walking.

About: I have health care experience from my daily career and I've been taking care of all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. This includes several kitten rescues and rehoming. My little girl abby was a recue. Feeding, grooming, litter care needs, emotional support, love, time, and attention all go towards my cat at home on a daily basis. It's a labor of love. About: My family and I currently have two pups - a golden retriever/pitbull mix who is 1 year old & a brown lab/pitbull mix who is 6 months old. Both are rescues. I also have many years of experience volunteering at a local animal shelter where I have helped take care of many different types of dogs. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)!
