About: I've grown up around labs since my grandparents were breeders. All my aunts have had labs (usually more than one at a time), so I've gotten the chance to look after them and give them walks when they were away on vacation. My most recent experience was with my roommate's St Bernard. Optimus is the largest dog I've ever cared for let alone lived with. He's been a ton of work considering his previous owner's unfortunate lack of care. We've dealt with ear infections and bulking up to a healthy weight. Throughout all, patience and determination prevailed and he's our big buddy. I'm currently working three 12-hour shifts each week providing me evenings on work days and full days twice during week and all weekend for caring for cats. I'm unavailable Wednesday evenings and weekend mornings for religious reasons. I have a clean home vacuumed every morning with plenty of windows for looking out of. Scratching posts are in every room with plenty of toys and treats to go around. I love petting cats and giving belly rubs if that's their thing.
About: I have taken care of animals since childhood. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fancy mice, african soft furred rats, small birds, aquatic turtles, fresh water fish, and ball pythons. I have known since childhood that I wanted to care for animals. During childhood I spent my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter. Helping clean animal pens and crates. During high school I volunteered at my local animal hospital as well as the local emergency animal hospital. As of recently I have been volunteering at a senior dog rescue. I love being able to help animals and I can’t wait to help care for your furbaby(ies). I currently am a stay at home pet parent and am looking to fill my free time with more animals. Plus I love to go hiking and always find it better to with a furry companion. My yard is unfenced but I enjoyed taking my dog on as many walks she wants. Sadly I can’t host pets at my house because my cats are wary about new dogs. But I love taking dogs on nice long walks so they can stretch their legs.
“Daniela was great with my dog Fetty. She came to meet her before I left on my trip so that Fetty knew her and was comfortable. I’m away a few times every year and Daniela will be my first choice to take care of Fetty.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. Since I was a kid, I could never walk past a hurt or stray animal without stopping to help. I’ve fed and looked after stray cats and dogs, reunited lost pets with their families, and even taken in animals until they were safe. One of my earliest memories is rescuing an injured bird from kids who were trying to hurt it and nursing it back to health. I’m currently a senior high school student that has lots of free time after school so doing pet care after my school business will be no such problem at all! Every since I was young I’ve always had love for animals and now that I can willingly take care of them for people I’m need of help I’m super excited to show the skills and care I offer to their pets!
About: I have been around dogs all of my life. My family always had dogs. I have three dogs on my own. I will take care of your dog as if it was mine! I currently have a full-time job. But I can care for your pet after 2 PM during the week and I’m available anytime during the weekends. I can walk your dog, care for your dog in your own home, visit ,feed your dog and let them out to potty! Whatever you need!

Your fur babies are allowed on the furniture in my house! Always keep them very well accommodated and what the owner saids, goes!, I always have my phone with me so if you would like to be kept updated through out the day, while you are away it will never be a problem to call or text me 😊
About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My favorite part of the day is seeing their tail wag! I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start and end my days by making sure pets are fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention. When at a clients home, I treat the space with respect and make sure to stick to the pets routine. I am willing to provide regular updates and pictures to make the owners feel as comfortable as possible!
About: I believe pets are part of the family and should be treated that way. I have had many pets and love their companionship and have also included them in my daily routine I’m currently unemployed after 34 years with the same employer, I am dependable and experienced as evidenced by the amount of dedicated service to my former employer. I am responsible and really enjoy the outdoors and including my dog in daily activities outside We walk our German Shepherd daily and play with her in the yard. About: Hi, I'm Robyn, a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of trusted experience caring for dogs & cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I've grown up with a variety of animals my entire life (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, mice). For the past decade, I've been the go to pet sitter and dog walker for family and friends. Whether it’s high energy pups or senior cats who just want some company, I treat every pet like my own with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Before I was old enough to work, I spent time volunteering at a local animal shelter during my teen years. It gave me early hands on experience caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs, and helped shape my lifelong love and respect for animals. Right now, I share my home with a 5 year old beagle named Scout who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. Whether you're looking for reliable walks, drop ins, or overnight care, you can count on me to keep your pet safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I send regular updates and photos, and I always follow your care instructions to the letter. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! As a stay at home mom, I'm home and active throughout the day, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my regular routine. I'm available for walks and visits from 9am-2pm during the week, and I have full day availability on Sunday. I'm used to planning my days around care and routines, so incorporating pet care feels like a natural fit. Whether it's a morning walk to start the day, a dinner time drop in, or extended weekend care, I make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow the pet parent's instructions closely to ensure consistency and comfort for their pet. I'm very detail oriented and make sure routines, feeding, medications, and preferences are followed exactly as requested. I also let the pet guide the pace of our interactions whether that means playtime, cuddles, or simply being a calm, reassuring presence. My goal is to make them feel safe, respected, and as relaxed as possible while you're away
About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! If my Rover prices are too high for your budget, shoot me a message and I can help you stay in your range! I'm flexible, especially since all pets are different and require different amounts of work! I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.
About: Are you searching for a unique and flexible animal lover with 7 years of professional pet care experience under her belt on Rover and elsewhere? I currently work as a Dog Groomer at Petsmart, and have other past work experience from day care and boarding facilities. Let your pet(s) hang out with me while you’re away and you will have peace of mind that their routines will remain intact, and they will always stay happy and healthy during every short visit and all extended stays with me.😊 I know how to approach animals who might have anxious or cautious tendencies due to my experience with rescue animals, and have cared for several different special needs animals (ex. Blind, Deaf, heart conditions, brachycephalia) I can be entrusted to administer oral medication effectively as well. No matter the breed or demeanor, dogs seem to warm up to me very quickly. Disclaimer- we just may become best friends when they get their first back scratch. I typically accomodate with Daytime Drop-ins, 30/60 min. Dog Walks, and very flexible custom House Sitting services. Please contact me through Rover, phone, or email, and I will promptly respond to sort out an arrangement that best suits everyone, especially your pets! 🐶 I work full time as a dog groomer at Petsmart 10-6 Monday-Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I am available for your pets all day on Thursdays and Sundays, and evenings/nights always! I offer house-sitting services for clients needing me to stay in their home while they go away for a long period of time, and also drop in visits/quick walks for clients who need someone to check on their pup during the day. I provide food and water, allow them exercise and go outside as needed, entertain them to their hearts' content, and naturally I give them all the love they deserve and then some. 🥰 I accomodate for pet care needs by providing pet sitting or walking services in the evenings and on my days off from my full time job. I do not provide services within my home, but in a client's home, I always make sure the pets are comfortable with my presence, and I care for them exactly as the pet parents require. They can contact me anytime to check on them and I always send pictures.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, both big and small. I’ve dog sitted for a couple of dogs around my neighborhood. We have trained my dog to walk off leash. Very active and would love to take your dog on a hike with me! Working part time throughout the summer. Free on weekends. Would love to stop by for early morning and evening walks/hikes! Overnight house sitting would fit right in with work. Before meeting the dog, I’ll make sure we acclimate to each others spaces. Allowing the dog to become accustomed to who I am and comfortable being walked or taken care of by me. Hopefully we’ll meet more than once and I’ll become recognizable and a friendly playmate!
About: My family and I currently have two pups - a golden retriever/pitbull mix who is 1 year old & a brown lab/pitbull mix who is 6 months old. Both are rescues. I also have many years of experience volunteering at a local animal shelter where I have helped take care of many different types of dogs. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)! I am currently in medical school so I have a bit of a hectic schedule & do bounce between NEPA & Philadelphia. There are weeks when I am completely available & others I am completely booked. I will keep my calendar updated accordingly! I offer a warm and safe home for my own pets and any pets I take care of. I always make sure their needs are met - water full, meals on time, potty breaks whenever needed. If they're energetic, I love a good play time or a long walk!

I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and a variety of other pets, including ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, and even tarantulas. I will keep my calendar updated and communicate promptly about any scheduling changes. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay consistent. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, respect your home, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pets are family, too. About: I have health care experience from my daily career and I've been taking care of all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. This includes several kitten rescues and rehoming. My little girl abby was a recue. Feeding, grooming, litter care needs, emotional support, love, time, and attention all go towards my cat at home on a daily basis. It's a labor of love. I would approach each clients needs with focus on respect, reliability, attention to details, and loving care towards each clients pet. I understand each clients needs will be individual.
“Kimberly is a true animal lover and this was obvious to me the moment she met Blue. Beyond grateful for her attention to the particular needs of my senior Siberian Husky. It was a relief knowing my best friend was in good hands with such a caring person with a particular affinity for Huskies. Thanks Kimberly.”

Daniela is great. I book her walking service whenever I'm away and she'll continue to be the first walker I reach out to whenever I'm in need. My dog Fetty really likes her and I feel very at ease knowing she'll be with someone that will take great care of her. Very accommodating and keeps me updated every walk with photos.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Askam. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Askam.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Askam. On Rover:
- 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
