“I was in need of weekly drop in visits for about a month in order to ensure our cat's needs were met. Lily’s a small cat, so I initially requested visits every 7 days. I reached out to 2 providers. One declined because of the distance, and the other didn't respond. I was about to join another pet sitting service to see if they had anyone close by and tried Rover again. Amanda’s profile appeared, and bonus, she was only about 5 country miles away from my house. I sent the details to Amanda, and she accepted fairly quickly. A more detailed text followed to let Amanda know where everything was located. I had set up things the best I could before I left to ultimately make it easier for her. We had several texts about the ideal number of days for a visit. We decided to gauge it on the condition of the litter box, food and water after the initial 5 days between my departure and her initial visit. She recommended 5 days, and she changed the visitation dates, as I was limited to only daily, weekly, monthly, etc. and not a specific number of days. Amanda’s reporting and overall communication was great. Her summaries were prompt, comprehensive and clearly painted a picture a job well done. She was also able to get Lily to warm up to her after the first visit. That alone is a minor miracle, as Lily’s quite shy around strangers and even other family members. The bottom line? I was really appreciative of Amanda through this entire process and highly recommend her to anyone needing services close to her.”

About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I work for a pet care company that does grooming and daycare and boarding, where I am called in as needed. My schedule is immensely flexible and I have a lot of time on my hands to love your pets and give them my undivided attention! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

About: I use to work at a doggie daycare in 2018 for three years I have dealt with every single breed and age along with some grooming and dog walking . I also did my own pet sitting with many customers and a lot were repeat customers . I have given medicine to a diabetic cat . I have taken care and owned many farm animals . I will take care of any animals small or big . I am available every weekend all day and I am available in the afternoon during the week and at night and very early in the morning . I do not have a fenced in yard but I don’t mind taking them out on a leash or taking them for a walk , I have cats in my home along with a little shitzuh that is my roommates dogs . I am a force-free dog trainer who is also currently pursuing my degree in Animal Health and Behavior Science. I've been in the wonderful world of dog training for 6 years! During this time, I have attended many webinars/seminars to learn more about dogs and developed a deep understanding of their body language and how they communicate, as well as how to help them navigate the world around them. In summer of 2023, I began taking on dog training clients, as well as reaching out to animal shelters to volunteer. I have found myself to be skilled in many areas of dog training such as: Socialization, leash manners, reactivity, potty training, puppy training and more! I have a friendly, but neutral, 2 year old border called named Vena, and a shy 5 year old cat named Cali, who typically likes to stay to herself. My dog is very well trained and is able to ignore dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a potty area where the dogs can go out on leash. I have a 14 acre field behind where I live, as well as multiple hiking trails just a shirt drive away. If youre comfortable with me taking your dog on adventures, they will be safely restrained in my car, either in a crash tested harness or crate (which I will provide). I have long lines reaching up to 50 feet allowing all dogs to run and play freely while remaining under control. When visiting homes, I will ensure pets go out according to schedule and I introduce myself in a safe and positive way!

About: I've had my own dogs since I was 18, I'm more than comfortable with large breeds and mini breeds, and everything in between. I'm also well versed in basic grooming for dogs of all sizes. I have pets of my own. I have dogs, a cat, and rats. I have daily animal care that needs to be done. Feeding everyone, letting my dogs out into my fenced yard, filling water bowls/bottles, cleaning litter trays. I have a fenced in yard with 3 little girls and two 6 month old Great Pyrenees mix puppies for your pup to run around with. My dogs and my cat are completely dog/cat friendly, they love making friends. I come equipped with my own leash for dogs that require walks, and no one is left unsupervised if they have a yard to be let out in
