“First time using Rovr. Anna was amazing!!! She was available last minute after my caretaker cancelled and guided me through the process. She wrote me an update and sent lots of pictures. My usually shy Solame typically hides when she meets new people, but she greeted Anna at the door and even ate treats out of her hand before she left. Highly recommend!”

“Super thankful to have found and booked Gwynne! This was the first time I've left my 2 cats with anyone outside of friends or family, and trust them with Gwynne again in a heart beat! She was able to get my more shy/timid boy to trust her, and kept me updated with pictures and notes throughout the entire stay! Will 100% be booking again in ghe future!”

“Jennifer and her family were wonderful and took care of our kitten. Frequent pictures and addressing any feeding and space needs made it like Kasha was at a second home away from home. Cannot recommend enough for anyone that is looking to board their pet!”

“Andrew was incredible!! He watched our 2 cats while we were out of town for about a week and was very quick to respond and sent us lots of pictures. He was very accommodating to some last minute changes and was so good with our little kitties!! Will definitely be using his services again. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Gianna! I'm a passionate pre-vet student with hands-on experience in emergency vet med and general animal care. I’ve worked in vet clinics and have two amazing rescue pups of my own! Whether it's dogs, cats, or pocket pets, I’m here to provide loving, knowledgeable, and reliable care for your furry friends. 🐾 I work part-time and keep a flexible schedule, so I’m able to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. With about a day’s notice, I’m happy to coordinate walks, feedings, or check-ins. I’m usually available on weekdays and most weekends. Feel free to reach out, I'm always excited to meet new pets and work with your schedule! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! With my experience in both emergency and general veterinary settings, I take every precaution to ensure your pet is safe, happy, and stress-free. I’ll care for them as if they were my own—offering plenty of love, attention, and patience while following the same safety measures used by vet staff. Whether it’s administering medications, monitoring their well-being, or simply making sure they feel comfortable in their own home, you can trust that your pet is in experienced, caring hands.

“I was in need of weekly drop in visits for about a month in order to ensure our cat's needs were met. Lily’s a small cat, so I initially requested visits every 7 days. I reached out to 2 providers. One declined because of the distance, and the other didn't respond. I was about to join another pet sitting service to see if they had anyone close by and tried Rover again. Amanda’s profile appeared, and bonus, she was only about 5 country miles away from my house. I sent the details to Amanda, and she accepted fairly quickly. A more detailed text followed to let Amanda know where everything was located. I had set up things the best I could before I left to ultimately make it easier for her. We had several texts about the ideal number of days for a visit. We decided to gauge it on the condition of the litter box, food and water after the initial 5 days between my departure and her initial visit. She recommended 5 days, and she changed the visitation dates, as I was limited to only daily, weekly, monthly, etc. and not a specific number of days. Amanda’s reporting and overall communication was great. Her summaries were prompt, comprehensive and clearly painted a picture a job well done. She was also able to get Lily to warm up to her after the first visit. That alone is a minor miracle, as Lily’s quite shy around strangers and even other family members. The bottom line? I was really appreciative of Amanda through this entire process and highly recommend her to anyone needing services close to her.”

“Max was watching my cats and taking good care of them. I appreciated the pictures and regular updates. Look forward to working with you again!”

About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I work for a pet care company that does grooming and daycare and boarding, where I am called in as needed. My schedule is immensely flexible and I have a lot of time on my hands to love your pets and give them my undivided attention! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

“With this being my first experience with the app, Lauren made the experience easy, and comfortable. Her and Winnie got along great. I was very happy to have the peace of mind, knowing Lauren was taking care of Winnie.”

About: When it comes to what sets me apart from other sitters, it's all about my passion and experience in training dogs. I am a force-free dog trainer who is also currently pursuing my degree in Animal Health and Behavior Science. I've been in the wonderful world of dog training for 6 years! During this time, I have attended many webinars/seminars to learn more about dogs and developed a deep understanding of their body language and how they communicate, as well as how to help them navigate the world around them. In summer of 2023, I began taking on dog training clients, as well as reaching out to animal shelters to volunteer. I have found myself to be skilled in many areas of dog training such as: Socialization, leash manners, reactivity, potty training, puppy training and more! I am able to switch around depending on the dog to perfectly match their needs and behavior. One more thing that sets me apart is how willing I am to change around depending on your dog. I am very active and a very avid hiker, so if your dog enjoys a hike, then we will absolutely go hiking. If your dog is a couch potato and would rather sleep all day we can then chill at home on the couch and watch movies together! I am also a photographer so your pets will go home with professional photos that will last a lifetime! When you entrust your precious pup to me, you can be confident that they'll receive top-notch care and guidance. I'll create a safe and positive environment where they can thrive and be their happiest selves. They’ll return home to you happy, well-cared for, and fulfilled. 🌟 I am currently still working my way through university (which is online), which means that I am available every day of the week the exception of some weekends! I have a friendly, but neutral, 2 year old border called named Vena, and a shy 5 year old cat named Cali, who typically likes to stay to herself. My dog is very well trained and is able to ignore dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a potty area where the dogs can go out on leash. I have a 14 acre field behind where I live, as well as multiple hiking trails just a shirt drive away. If youre comfortable with me taking your dog on adventures, they will be safely restrained in my car, either in a crash tested harness or crate (which I will provide). I have long lines reaching up to 50 feet allowing all dogs to run and play freely while remaining under control. When visiting homes, I will ensure pets go out according to schedule and I introduce myself in a safe and positive way!

About: I've had my own dogs since I was 18, I'm more than comfortable with large breeds and mini breeds, and everything in between. I'm also well versed in basic grooming for dogs of all sizes. I have pets of my own. I have dogs, a cat, and rats. I have daily animal care that needs to be done. Feeding everyone, letting my dogs out into my fenced yard, filling water bowls/bottles, cleaning litter trays. I have a fenced in yard with 3 little girls and two 6 month old Great Pyrenees mix puppies for your pup to run around with. My dogs and my cat are completely dog/cat friendly, they love making friends. I come equipped with my own leash for dogs that require walks, and no one is left unsupervised if they have a yard to be let out in

“Hayley did an amazing job taking care of our two cats, Hector and Grizzy. She followed all of our directions and we came home to happy and well-cared for cats!”

“Tiffany is terrific and completed the job for my outdoor pets as expected. Will definitely use her again whenever I go away.”
