“Olivia was great! She always showed up on time and stayed the full amount of time for her visit. She was nice enough to bring in mail and packages that got delivered. She always sent us pictures of our cat and updated us on activities they did during the visit. Definitely would recommend her services!”

“We love Ann! She takes such excellent care of our Cosmo, which makes our time away more carefree and relaxing. I never have to worry when I know Ann is looking after our fur baby.”

“Loved working with Kelsey! Professional, flexible, thorough and most importantly, super attentive and caring with our fur babies. We’ll definitely be working with Kelsey again in the future!”

“Sam was great! Super supportive over my miss-booking and Mr. Action Jackson demeanor changed a bit when I got back from vacation, meaning Sam gave him love and support while also going above and beyond with the tasks to care for him. A little pricy (😅) butt will definitely hire again! Couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter 👍🏼 Will request Sam when I go on vacation again”

About: I grew up with animals and currently don’t have any of my own. I’m hoping to fill this gap by pet-sitting for others and taking care of your four-legged family members as my own! I am a full-time therapist at a private practice so my schedule is not typical. I primarily work late afternoons to evenings for short shifts so I am home during the day. I even have Tuesdays completely off. I will ensure that your pet is able to get their energy out early in the day, so by the evening they are ready to rest, relax, and be loved on. I have a large fenced in yard and already go on daily 2 mile walks, having a pet to join me would be great for myself and your pet’s energy!
“Melanie took great care of my cat while I was away. She sent me daily updates and pics of my cat and was readily available to answer any questions I had. She treated my home and cat like they were her own. I highly recommend Melanie!”

About: I have a passionate love for all animals! Ample experience dog sitting for drop-ins and overnight visits. Have peace of mind that your pup will be well taken care of while you’re away!! Experienced in giving medications in pill pockets and administering ear drops, if needed. Very adamant on reading the pet’s body language to ensure an easy and comfortable process! I work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Anytime around that is open for pet care! I have plenty of room for potty breaks/walks and keeping your baby company while you’re away. RESPECT. I treat any pet and any home with the upmost care and delicacy. Whether your pet needs medication, specific care, or just basic TLC, I will be able to handle it and keep your baby happy!
“Amanda was amazing and so considerate of making the schedule work when she came to take care of our car while we were away! She was so helpful with things she noticed in the house that needed to be taken care of that other people would have paid no attention to and it made our coming home after a long trip so much easier. A million stars and we will be calling her again for sure!”

“John was wonderful with our energetic boxer puppy! I highly recommend him. When we came home, she greeted us with excitement and love as usual. Then she ran around our house looking for her new friend, John!”

“Emily was kind, caring, attentive to detail while house sitting and caring for our two cats. I really appreciated how clean and tidy she left everything. She was very responsive and sent updates and photo/videos regularly for our two girls. She took her time coaxing and helping one of our more nervous cats relax and eat regularly. I loved having peace of mind while traveling. Highly recommend !”

“Amanda is always so reliable and helpful. She took great care of our cat this trip and brought our cans back up on trash day. We definitely strongly recommend her!”

“We are so lucky to have found Phyllis! Our new cat Morty was comfortable right away with Phyllis and her husband. They have the perfect home for animals, beautiful big windows, looking to a park, with tons of toys and spaces to be comfortable. Morty had a wonderful time and we know he was well cared for!”

About: I have cared for dogs ranging from bottle-fed puppies to elderly that need special care and medication. I have been trusted throughout my whole life to care for an array of animals such as dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, rats, etc. I am a stay at home mom, so I am extremely flexible and can work with any clients’ schedule and routine (I just may have a baby companion tag along with me sometimes!) I meet the pet where they are at! If they are shy and nervous, I’m more than happy to sit there with them until I earn their trust. If they are social and ready to go throw that ball, my shoes are on and I’m ready to go!
“Estefanía took awesome care of my kitty Moji! She was always on time to the drop-in, sent plenty of photos, and very quickly converted my shy scaredy cat to her usual sweet self. Thanks Estefanía!”

About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.
Burr Ridge cat parents share their Rover experiences
As always, Veronika went above and beyond for our boy. He recently got diagnosed with asthma, and before this trip, since she previously had not worked with an asthma kitty, she came over to learn how to give our cat his inhaler, and from what I have heard, he tolerated her giving him his inhaler twice a day very well. She is always so gentle with him and he loves her!

We hired Anna to care for our cat while we were on vacation and she exceeded our expectations! She was very easy to work with, very trustworthy and professional, and very communicative. Anna sent us daily updates with photos, which gave us peace of mind that our cat was in good hands, and she took the time to make our cat felt comfortable while we were away. I would definitely recommend Anna if you are looking for a reliable and experienced pet sitter!
