About: I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past six years have cared for a behaviorally complex (but wonderful!) rescue pup. Our journey has taught me a ton about training, and about patience. As a result, I am very understanding of dogs and other animals that deal with reactivity — we are a shame-free household! I work full time, but my schedule is flexible on my work-from-home days and on weekends, which gives me plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. As a detail-oriented, attentive person, I will be sure to follow any instructions you have for your pet’s care. Otherwise, I will use my best judgment and careful attention to the safety and health of your pet to make all other decisions while they’re in my care.

I spent a great deal of time with her and her dog, Wendell, when we lived near each other for two years, and Hannah always put her dog first, always leaving hangouts in time to feed him and take him on a nice long walk. Wendell is also a super happy dog, and you can tell when you see him in his natural environment that he is loved and has everything he needs, from a basket of toys and a cozy bed to healthy dog food and treats. I’ve been on a trip with Hannah when her dog gave signs that he felt unsafe/threatened, and she immediately removed him from the scenario and gave him the love and care he needed to unwind after being stressed out - a sign of someone who would do anything to keep her dog safe!”

Claire was so incredibly thoughtful! She took the best care of both my boys while I was on a vacation for the first time since I’ve got them! Claire sent me detailed updates with each visit and took the sweetest photos of my boys while I was away. As much as I missed them, I knew they were having a blast and I was less anxious about being away from them while they were in her care. She went above and beyond my expectations! Samantha was phenomenal. Very communicative and took great care of our girls on her drop ins. I always get nervous meeting a new Rover, but she made sure they were able to go potty, played with them, and snuggle them. Would highly recommend her and hope to have her stop by again in the future
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Sophie was! She is an excellent communicator—always replied quickly and clearly to messages, and when in person, she not only listened attentively to all the things I was sharing but also consolidated it into a plan for her time with Action Jackson, which she formulated and articulated before she left our meet-&-greet. During the days of drop-in sitting with my kitty, she was amazing with some last minute flexibility, which helped me a ton. She sent several pics for each drop-in and wrote about how things went. You could see she executed her plan and provided active play for my kitty. She even helped with logistics of dropping off / picking up my keys. Could not have been more grateful for her help! Truly recommend!!
Bailey takes such great care of our girlie when we’re out. She’s reliable, communicative & so sweet to our girl. Charlie had some stomach upset while we were away & Bailey went above & beyond to take care of Charlie while she wasn’t feeling well, problem solving with us & even cleaning up after her. Truly cannot thank you enough Bailey! Knowing you’re with Charlie is the ultimate peace of mind!
Nina did an excellent job caring for our cats and fish while we were out of town. She was on top of feeding and medication schedules, kept the litter boxes tidy, and the water dishes were all full when we got home. I usually have to do a bit of damage control after a long trip because the pet sitter doesn’t keep up with all the various needs, but I am super impressed with Nina’s work—as far as my pets go, it’s like we weren’t gone at all.
Thanks for working with our schedule and taking excellent care of our young energetic pup on short notice! Mindi came and met us for an intro, was always on time, communicated promptly with us while we were out of town. New to Rover but this was a first great experience!
