“Excellent! Communication was outstanding, she took care of both my grumpy kitty and sweet little kitty ( and feed my fish) for 10 days. I couldn’t have chosen a better person! I would highly recommend Terri!”
“Declan is an extremely friendly and reliable sitter! He's great with our new kittens and has been very gracious working with us on short notice with our relatively erratic schedule. Would recommend to anyone in need of a sitter!”

About: I had 2 cats and a dog growing up! No pets currently but happy to play and take care of yours! Looking to earn extra to help pay for my wedding in 8 months! I work full time (35-40 hrs) and have alternating shifts every day (evening/morning) but have plenty of time for part time care! Weekends have more flexibility but I'm able to work around schedules! My parents who are retired are available for extra help if necessary and I will am willing to make accommodations as long as communicate clearly.
About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was born and have lots of experience providing care for many ages, behaviors, and disabilities. Over the last few years, I have aided with foster dog care, and while it can be challenging, it is very rewarding. Over the last few years, I have seen seniors, puppies, and pregnant dogs come through the home, and I always try to provide the best care I can while trying to find homes that are a good fit! I am working a part-time job at Carthage College and have ample time to help provide care. During the weekdays, I am quite flexible with my availability. On weekends I have lots of flexibility as well in order to provide ample support and care for pets. I am very active, so I am more than willing to provide walks and activities for your pup! If your dog needs medication, I am able to administer it when needed. I can also provide time outside and around the home if the dog must be in a crate.
About: Hello! I have been walking and dog sitting since I was 13 years old. I grew up with an amazing golden retriever and lost her about 2 years ago and I recently just got a mini Goldendoodle. I have done a variety of things such as dog walking, house sitting, dog boarding. I will do a variety of fun things with your pup such as long walks in the woods, fetch in the yard, car rides, and so much more. I am willing to care for a dog of any age and size. As I mentioned before I do have a dog of my own so if your dog would be boarding with me it would need to get along with other dogs. Thank you and I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently working during the week. In the fall I will be attending Parkside and am looking for an extra thing to help with paying for college and I love dogs. I will not have anything on the weekend so I will be free then. Also during the week Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I only go to class till 8:45 so after that I will be able to spend all day with your pup and let them out as needed. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do well with keeping my two pups in our yard by putting a long training leash on them. I also plan to take your dog for plenty of walks and other fun activities outside.
About: My name is Allison, I am 24 years old and love animals. I work full time and am looking for extra work taking care of animals. I have walked multiple dogs in my neighborhood since I was 10 years old, so i have about 10 years of experience walking all kinds and sizes of dogs. I also have about 3 years of experience house sitting and watching over dogs and cats. I will walk your dog as far or a short as you or your dog prefers. I will play with and give your pet lots of love. I also have grown up with 2 dogs and have my own cat and have family members with many more pets. I hope to give your pet lots of love. Currently, my schedule is very flexible and I am almost always available every day during the week for a few hours and the weekends as well. If I am to take care of your pet in your home I will be very respectful of your space and leave it just as it was when I arrived.
“Morgan was great! She met with us prior to our visit to meet Gracie. She was prompt in responding to our request and questions. She took great care of Gracie for her drop in visit. Thank you Morgan!”

About: My previous experience with dogs gives me the ability to provide personalized and attentive care, as well as reliability and trustworthiness. I understand the effort it take to really connect with a dog, and I promise to do that with every dog I interact with. I work fully remote with a very laid back schedule. I am able to give your pet direct attention throughout the day with lots of play time. This also allows me to let them out frequently and go on walks. I currently do not have any other pets living in my apartment, and the place is theirs to roam. I do not have a fenced in yard so if playtime was outdoors I would keep them on a leash.
About: Not home enough to give your dog attention and care? As a pet lover myself I understand the difficulty of finding someone who will care for your pets and respect your home. I will not only treat your pets as if they are my own, but I will give them the love and undivided attention that they deserve and need. I am very energetic and I love to stay busy. I love nature so I am always willing to explore and venture out, I love being outdoors and I am pretty flexible with my time during the days/evenings I have past experience working at my mother-in-laws veterinary clinic as well as having animals of my own. While you're away let me stay and pamper your pup!
“Foles is amazing! We’ve never used a dog sitter/dog walker before and weren’t sure what to expect. Foles set the bar really high! She was so good with our 70-lb Juliet-playing fetch, walking her and taking care of her when we couldn’t be there. I will be a repeat customer.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. Raised a wonderful chocolate lab puppy and two kitties. Birds like me too. You’re bets will be in excellent care :) I work from home, take my dog Athena for lots of walks and get to play with her in the park every day. My two cats are always wanting attention and get plenty of it. I have a flexible work schedule which is great for taking care of pets. My dog and two cats get to spend a lot of time with me and get plenty of care. I will take care of yours just like I take care of mine.
“Holli responded quickly to my dog visit request. Good communication throughout the process. We have 2 dogs that she took care of. Nice to receive pictures of them during the visit.. I will request her in the future.”

“DeeDee did very good with Sandy, which says a lot about Sandy. She allowed Sandy to pet her, and she sniffed Sandy, which is huge for DeeDee. Deedee is very skeptical of anyone, and extremely timid, so her to open up so quickly makes me so happy. Next trip, will be planned around Sandy’s availability.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments. I’ve fostered dogs, which gave me experience helping animals adjust to new environments, build trust, and follow routines. I’ve also cared for other people’s dogs for extended periods, including feeding, walking, administering basic care, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I treat every pet like they’re my own and focus on keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable. I work from home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day—no long periods left alone. I provide a safe and attentive environment for dogs in my home. I own my home, which allows me to create a stable and comfortable space for pets. Dogs in my care are always taken out on leash for regular potty breaks and enjoyable walks. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention based on their individual needs and energy level. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who is used to being around other dogs thanks to our past fostering experience. Whether your dog loves relaxing indoors or staying active with walks, I do my best to match their routine so they feel happy and at home.

About: I’ve enjoyed animals my entire life. I had a dog growing up, and I fell in love with dogs and horses. I went to college for equine related activities. I’ve watched my friends pets and pets of contacts through church in the comfort of their home. I treat your pets as if they were my own. I’m able to walk your dogs, administer medicine and take note of their behavior. I always keep owners updated on how their pets are doing while they’re away unless they don’t want to be notified. I even send photos to keep owners updated and at ease. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets. Animals make me happy, and I love them. I currently don’t have a place that allows pets, but I’d be happy to take your pets to a park. I can also take them to a public walk path if a park is overwhelming and not a good fit.

“Sherry did a wonderful job with our two senior cats. We love our cats dearly, but they are troubled and not the friendliest cats around. Sherry handled them beautifully. She spent time with them, she was kind to them, and she even got them to warm to her, which isn’t an easy task. Sherry was responsive to me when I messaged her and came through with daily reports of our cats, as promised. I have had many pet sitters NOT do that, even when I have asked for this. When we came home from our trip, the cats were content. Sherry did everything we asked and a great job too. It’s nice to know that you have a trustworthy person in your house, caring for your pets, while you are away. Overall, I highly recommend Sherry.”
Burlington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Cayla was a fantastic pet sitter. I was nervous of leaving my companions, a bird and a dove, esp because they are not dogs or cats. Cayla met me before my trip and I knew upon meeting her they were in the right hands. She treated them like my family and sent me all the pics and videos I needed. She always got back to me right away when we had to communicate, and made sure the house was warm enough when the temps dipped. When I got home it was like I'd never been gone, cleaner actually

As always Alyssa was great. She is super prompt and always reaches with any questions or concerns. My dogs are escape artists and she is super careful and attentive with them. I dont worry anymore about my dogs when I can't be home with them, I know they are in good hands!
