We were initially concerned about leaving our fur baby for 3 weeks with someone we didn't know, but we had a "meet and greet" ahead of time and Deanne and her family put all of our worries at ease. Deanne treated Bazooka like one of her own family. She sent us updates, with pictures and kept us in the loop with how Bazooka was doing. Having Deanne take care of Bazooka made it so we could enjoy our vacation without having to worry about her. When we picked Bazooka up she was happy to see us, but it was obvious she had such a good time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, it was a good and safe environment, Deanne communicated well, and we will definitely be having Bazooka stay with Deanne again!”

My older cat is a diabetic with severe skin issues requiring multiple medications on an alternating schedule in addition to her twice a day insulin. She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”

Important note: Summer is my busy season, so during the months of June-August I will not be requiring a meet and greet as long as your dog has been boarded before and gets along well with other dogs. If you would still like a meet and greet, I would be happy to schedule one with you, but please be patient in scheduling as it is a busy time. Thank you! Boarding is my fulltime job so I am home every day to care for the animals. Pickup and drop off hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Every day is a new adventure! From walks to pool time in the yard, snuggles on the couch or bed and fun holiday activies, your pup will be on their own little vacation while you're away. Safety is always my top concern. While your dogs are with me they will never be left unsupervised; in the case of having to leave for a doctor's appointment etc. they will be crated. I have a fenced in yard with locks on it, so there is no chance of a dog slipping through or opening the gate. I am also trained on signals and body language to prevent dog fights or injuries.

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: My background is in social work and I am the oldest of four kids. Growing up we always had a golden retriever as a member of our family. “This was Murphy’s first time away from home, Karen did an excellent job carrying for him. She also sent pictures of Murphy every other day, with a short message. We really appreciated Karen doing a great job taking care of Murphy the week we were on vacation.”

“Gracie had an amazing stay with Joanne (& her family!) I enjoyed the communications and pictures during Gracie’s time in their home. Gracie enjoyed playtime with the kids and with the resident dog, Olivia. She had her kennel available, but enjoyed cuddles with their teenage son and quickly made herself a part of the family. I will certainly consider booking for future stays, and recommend Joanne to others!”
“Deanne was awesome! We were initially concerned about leaving our fur baby for 3 weeks with someone we didn't know, but we had a "meet and greet" ahead of time and Deanne and her family put all of our worries at ease. Deanne treated Bazooka like one of her own family. She sent us updates, with pictures and kept us in the loop with how Bazooka was doing. Having Deanne take care of Bazooka made it so we could enjoy our vacation without having to worry about her. When we picked Bazooka up she was happy to see us, but it was obvious she had such a good time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, it was a good and safe environment, Deanne communicated well, and we will definitely be having Bazooka stay with Deanne again!”
“This was my first time using rover. From the moment I met Keri I felt Gia would be loved and well cared for while she was staying with her, and she was. Keri has a nice fenced yard where Gia was able to sniff around and play with the other dogs. Gia loves to play fetch and Keri's children played fetch with her. I am so thankful to have found Keri to watch my girl Gia. I will definitely be using Keri again!”

“Scott & Ashley were wonderful. They took in our dog Kiko and my daughter's dog Ellie, while we were all on vacation in the UK for 10 days. They sent daily updates with photos and they have a great yard for dogs with a fenced in backyard. Scott & Ashley took both dogs for walks twice a day and the although we brought crates for both dogs, they ended up sleeping with both of their boys, which was fine with us and I'm sure Kiko and Ellie loved it! We will certainly contact Scott & Ashley through Rover.com, when the need arises again.”
“I have a special-needs dog that is blind, and due to loss of sight struggles with other dogs only because he can’t see them coming. Tracy watch Dover Rocky and make sure he was OK with all the other dogs and then sent me some of the cutest pictures of him just relaxing little notes telling me he was getting along with a dog that barked at him earlier. I’m never left Rocky with any other person other than family. Tracy is not part of that family.”
“Shyla is the best! So attentive and knowledgeable about cats. She kept us informed about any behavior she felt might be out of the ordinary, and sent photos and videos periodically so that we could see how he was doing. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about Calvin- We knew he was in good hands!”
