About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of animals, from turtles to sugar gliders to cats and dogs. I had two dogs named Sammy and Kona, but sadly Sammy passed away not too long ago. Kona is an 8-year-old multipoo with personality for days. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and big dogs. I am able to administer oral medication as well as flea and tick treatments. With a family that loves animals, I have picked up a few skills. I can walk, feed, and play with more than one dog at a time. I love meeting new dogs and can’t wait to meet yours :) I am a student majoring in biology at college of lake county. I do attend in person classes however with my schedule I have lots of free time in between classes to play and care for your furry friends! I believe that every pet deserves a stress free, fun, and safe environment tailored to their unique personality. My goal is to provide the same level of love and attention that I would give to my own pets. When caring for pets in your home: I am incredibly respectful of your space and your pet’s comfort zone. I follow your instructions to the letter, whether that involves a strict medication schedule, specific walking routes, or house rules. I also make it a priority to keep your home clean and secure. Communication is key: Regardless of the service, I believe in keeping you updated. I love sending regular photo and video updates so you can see exactly how much fun your furry friend is having while you’re away. About: I’ve grown up around dogs of many different kinds and have several years of hands-on experience caring for them in addition to caring for my own family dogs. I’ve pet sat for friends and family and have helped care for my roommates puppies since she first came home. During the week, I'm an especially great match for cats and for independent dogs who are comfortable relaxing at home while I'm at work or who have safe, secure access to a yard or indoor potty area. On my weekends off, I have much more flexibility and can devote even more time to your pet. I work at a local public library full time. I am able to check on pets in the AM and PM. On the weekends I have more time throughout the full day. One of my core values is to leave a place better than I found it, if possible. So I clean, keep things organized, and make sure to keep the client’s home nice while I am there.

I'm a teacher so I get home pretty early in the afternoon. I have several days off throughout the year, including holidays, and a flexible schedule. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people, which has been an invaluable learning experience for me. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach and style that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. My home is on a 1/2 acre fenced in wooded lot with a cabin like interior and country atmosphere that is both welcoming , safe, and fun for my dog guests, and I make it a top priority to treat your dogs like family. I also have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dogs along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

Followed all instructions (in my way too long note), checked in, sent pictures and all was well with my pup on return. Sydney is nice, mature and trustworthy. She is just starting out on Rover so for just figuring all that out — she was great. Sometimes I look for a lot of reviews but glad I gave Sydney a try for sure. “Brianna took amazing care of my 3 kitties. They absolutely loved her. Her communication was excellent and my cats barely noticed I was even gone. She did the cutest arts and crafts projects with them, brushed them, took out the trash and left my place spotless (other than the amazing arts and crafts I came home to.) All of my instructions were followed perfectly, she never left any trash behind, and brought so many treats and toys for the kitties! She came to meet the kitties ahead of time and bonded with them so fast. I would trust Brianna with my cats in a heartbeat and I don’t even trust my parents with them.”

About: Hello everyone! I am a mom and wife who enjoys animal friends. I’ve raised and cared for many varieties of animals. I have experience with the tiniest fur babies to the biggest! Do to my current work schedule I will no longer be offering boarding services for dogs. However, I am open to walking and drop in services. My only requirement for bookings is that your fur baby has all the items needed to be comfortable. That includes food, leashes, harnesses, etc. Also furry loved ones should be up to date on all shots and not showing any signs of illness. If I am taking care of someone’s fur baby I will not double book. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but I want to ensure safety, time, and attention for pets while they are in my care. Do to COVID-19 being a concern for some, we have followed the recommended CDC guidelines. Additionally, everyone within our home has been vaccinated. Should you like for me to wear a mask during my booked service time, please do not hesitate to reach out and I will be more than happy to accommodate. I work from home. I have plenty of flexibility to adjust to a dog/cat’s recommended routine. I have more availability on the weekends to provide services. If your pet is scheduled with me, I aim to provide them with lots of love and attention! I make sure to provide updates during each booking no matter how big or small it may be.
