“Hope was great! She took very good care of my cat while I was out of the country for a week. She sent lots of pictures and kept me updated on everything. Will definitely ask her for help again in the future.”
2. Norma G.
“Norma interacted with my cats nicely. They are comfortable with her and she is with them. I can tell she loves animals! She has a positive attitude and is easy to work with. I feel good that I can go out of town and know that my pets are taken care of with a dependable sitter.”
3. Maria S.
“Maria was a pleasure to meet and was very in tune with our cat from the first moment they met. She came over every day, played with her, fed her, cleaned her litter box and even took out the trash for us while we were on our vacation. She sent daily pics and even a few videos of their sessions and always kept us up to date on how Our cat was doing. She is a fantastic sitter and I cannot recommend her enough, we will definitely use her again in the future!”
4. Barbara B.
“Barb spent tons of quality time with our two pups while we were gone for the day: Multiple walks and outdoor-time made for some happy dogs! We definitely recommend Barb.”
5. Guadalupe P.
“This was my first time leaving my dog home while going on vacation. I was nervous because he's 16 years old and I've never used a dog sitter before. But Guadalupe was great. She was very sweet with my dog, Motley, during the meet & greet. I could tell he was comfortable with her. She walked me through how to use the Rover app and was very accommodating, pleasant, and flexible with the holiday. She communicated well and I appreciated the text and photo updates. The house was exactly as I left it when I got back and I could tell my little guy was well cared for. Thank you, Guadalupe!”
6. Bob and Francine A.
About: We are animal lovers who would love to have your dog or cat stay overnight, for a weekend or a week! We currently have three dogs and 4 cats. We also have various foster dogs at any given time. Some are a little shy but they are all socialized and well behaved. We prefer to take the dogs on a walk when meeting but the interaction is entirely dependent on you and your dogs comfort level since you know your best friend best. We have a fenced in backyard perfect for running and playing. We try to walk the dogs several times a week. Although we have a crate, we don't use it unless your dog is not house broken or if your furry friend needs some alone time while eating. Come on by for a "bark, sniff and greet". We have plenty of doggie beds and cat perches so that your furry friend will feel right at home. We treat all dogs like family so you have no worries while on vacation!
7. Sara P.
“Sara was fantastic! She gladly agreed to meet us in advance for a meet and greet and our dog immediately gave her kisses! A good sign for our usually hesitant dachshund. :) She made us feel extremely comfortable leaving our baby in her hands and didn’t flinch at my paranoia regarding our sticky door lock. She arrived on time for all scheduled visits, stayed plenty long enough for Madeiline to do her business and still get some snuggles in. She was super responsive and sent multitude of pictures of their adventures. Arrived home to a happy and relaxed puppy. Would definitely recommend Sara to any other dog parents out there and will be using her again ourselves. Thank you Sara!”
8. Declan G.
“Declan was a great sitter! Look forward to working with him in the future. Would highly recommend him and what he offers your animals. It is hard to find someone as good as him, and we are lucky to have him!”
9. Christy W.
“Christy gave special care and attention to my senior dog. She was this little dog's, who had gone through many changes in a short time, first pet sitter and it went well. I will welcome Christy back and recommend her as a reliable, caring pet sitter.”
10. Julie L.
About: I have extensive knowledge when it comes to canines and the many different breeds and temperaments out there. I’ve experience working with large breeds too. Not only that I love what I do and never tire of it. My daughter goes to school and then I am available all day to assist you with your furry friends. And on weekends I am an open book. And I try my hardest to work around your schedule. The animals are what we’re focused on here. And I am always willing to help out those who may have difficulties when it comes to being able to take their dogs out, or even to their needed vet appointments. I have two dogs of my own and I care for them in my home by making certain they have what they need and are happy. And I am always willing to help out people like my parents or even grandparents who have difficulties at times when it comes to taking their dogs out, or even to their needed vet appointments.
11. Linnea M.
“Linnea is great. She took care of our our beloved cat with the same love, conscientiousness, and dependability that we would, every other day for a three week period. We have found a long term caregiver!”
12. Elena H.
“We are so grateful to Elena! She met with us promptly upon a last minute request for drop in visits. She was attentive, reassuring and knowledgeable about our dog’s specific diet and medication. We felt so comfortable leaving our elderly dog and know that she was well taken care of while we were away.”
13. Abbi M.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs/cats since birth. I have recently fostered a variety of ages/breeds of cats and dogs for AEAR in Libertyville, IL. I love animals and guarantee I will love and care for your animals as I would my own! I work during the week at a school and part time at a clinic as a speech language pathologist. However I work and live in the Lake County area and have very open weekends. Once school is out, my summer is much more open and I will have more availability on weekdays! I always go outside with my animals, walk daily, and have a house that allows for plenty of space and security for all animal needs.
14. Devin R.
“I definitely recommend that Devin cares for pets on Rover! She is an extremely kind woman who does a great job of caring for pets. She will undoubtedly do a fantastic job caring for any and all pets on rover.”
15. Brianna A.
“Brianna took amazing care of my 3 kitties. They absolutely loved her. Her communication was excellent and my cats barely noticed I was even gone. She did the cutest arts and crafts projects with them, brushed them, took out the trash and left my place spotless (other than the amazing arts and crafts I came home to.) All of my instructions were followed perfectly, she never left any trash behind, and brought so many treats and toys for the kitties! She came to meet the kitties ahead of time and bonded with them so fast. I would trust Brianna with my cats in a heartbeat and I don’t even trust my parents with them.”
16. Cassandra G.
“WE LOVE CASSANDRA! Cassandra takes the most amazing care of our 3 dogs, one of whom has some special needs. It's so clear that she loves our dogs as if they are her own when they are in her care. We get regular updates and she is always very responsive when we reach out to her. We never worry about our pups when they are with Cassandra. She goes above and beyond and we are so thankful for her!”
17. Donald "DJ" H.
“Dj is so great with my dog! He is always so caring and loving to my baby. He walks her and gives her all the attention she loves. I highly recommend Dj to anyone who needs help with their pets and needs someone they can trust!”
18. Angela D.
“Angela is great with my dog and cats! We have a high maintenance & high energy pup and 3 cats. Angela handles all the various dietary issues and administration of meds with ease. Our pets love to see her, and we feel so comfortable leaving them in her care. She sends lots of cute pics while we’re away too. Couldn’t recommend her enough!”
19. Carla J.
“Carla is the best,...! So attentive to Mickey, I know she enjoys seeing Carla! Carla sends pictures too,of Mickey when she is over....I highly recommend Carla, for anyone needing a dog sitter. ..she is the best!”
20. Linda M.
“Linda has had dogs in her life since she was a child. Linda approaches the well being of a dog like she does being a mom, with an eye for comfort, safety, and fun. She has looked after my dog on occasions when I have asked her to pop by for an afternoon visit when I had a long work night. She sat with my dog, played with her, and sent pictures of my dog playing in the yard. She walks her own dog multiple times daily and approaches each trip through the neighborhood as a "new walk", encouraging curiosity in her dog while maintaining her own eye for her dog's safety. I hope you and your dog enjoy getting to know Linda!”
