About: I've loved animals forever and have cared for everything from a cockatiel to a chameleon, Great Pyrenees to Pekapoo. I currently have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat in my home with fenced area and walking trails. I'm currently homeschooling my children at our 10+ acre home with fenced area and walking trails. We have a light schedule and are home more often than away. We currently walk our Goldendoodle daily and pet care is our love, in addition to our responsibility. I have a fenced area and multiple indoor secure areas where animals can get healthy time in a safe home without overstimulation. I have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat who are the best of friends and are supportive to newcomers.

About: I am an active 20 something animal loving gal. Throughout college, I dog walked and house sat very regularly. Now I take on more long term house sitting gigs, but I am open to new drop in/dog walking clients. I am comfortable and have experience with all indoor animals (big and small) and some outdoor critters (think chickens, goats, etc.). I have familiar and comfortable with the needs of puppies and older dogs, I have experience taking care of both. Currently, I work part time so I an free throughout the day to visit your furry friends while you’re at work. Additionally, I don’t have many responsibilities at home (no fur babies or kiddos), so I have a generally flexible schedule for housesitting. I am comfortable caring for animals with any kind of needs. I am adamant about clear communication with owners to understand how to best care of their fur babies and keep them safe. About: I have grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals and have been an adoring playmate for them all, except for one of my ferrets who only liked my mother! At an early age I began to provide animal care for people in my communities and have continued to gain experience ever since. From cats and dogs to horses and geckos, I've loved interacting with so many different personalities! I am a UMASS Student who is currently figuring out her summer work schedule. As of now weekdays are when I am most available but might still have availability on some weekends! About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I've grown up having a dog. My first dog was a black lab/German Shepard mix named Pretina. I would play with her, take her on walks, go hiking with her, and many more activities. My second family dog, Piper, was a yellow lab who I had since she was a puppy. I helped in her puppy training and have enjoyed all the previously mentioned activities with her as well. Many of my friends and extended family have also had dogs which I've enjoyed playing with and caring for. During my undergrad career, I petsat for my professor's yellow lab and thoroughly enjoyed caring for him when I was so far from my own dog. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.

About: With 25+ years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a vet tech, I treat each animal as I would my own. I enjoy getting to know clients and their companion animals. I feel it is important for pets to have someone familiar taking care of them while their people are away. For this reason, I will usually ask to set up a meet and greet prior to the first booking. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small mammals (e.g. gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits), exotics (e.g. lizards, turtles, birds), and farm animals (e.g. chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats). Whether exercising exuberant young animals, entertaining indoor cats, or just keeping them company so they don't miss you [as much], I'm there to be another one of their people! I look forward to meeting your animal companion(s) and learning more about their routine and requirements to keep them happy & healthy while you are away. You can expect to receive updates including photos while they are in my care. Drop-in visits and house sitting generally available 7 days (between 8AM-8PM) and 7 nights/week. I offer dog walking but not are occurring service on week end days, though available some weekends. My own yard is unfenced; I offer leashed walks and potty breaks in yard and/or on nearby trails. Due to respect for my 3 cats, I do not offer doggy day care or sitting in my home across the board. I have made exceptions for cat-friendly and low-key critters in the past. Some of my clients opt to have a neighbor by for a potty break, but it works for many dogs that I go right there, let them out and feed them. My main focus is providing care for animals by overnight house sitting, drop-by care, or dog walking. There may be a small travel fee added for houses outside my service area. I love a harness for walks, I’m familiar with gentle leads, and I carefully supervise backyard playtime. I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet to ensure safety and distance, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. About: My first job as a kid was taking care of the neighborhood pets. I’ve always had a close bond with animals and have experience with rescue dogs, special needs pets, and senior dogs. I have an extra special place in my heart for pitties and you can know that your bully breed will be safe and respected when in my care. I’m currently working a flexible part-time schedule so I have plenty of availability. I am available for regular weekly walks and play sessions, and with the summer months coming up I am also available for vacation or temporary sitting opportunities. I enjoy physical activity, being outdoors, and hope to spend time hiking and playing outside with your dogs. I can lift 120lbs and hold a current wilderness first aid certification and can confidently respond to any pet emergencies that may occur.

About: I've been around pets for my entire life. At most my household has had 6 pets: 2 dogs, 4 cats. For pet-sitting, I've looked after mostly cats and a few dogs. My experience extends from house-sitting to frequent stop-bys for feeding and walks. Right now I'm a student at a community college. This means most obstacles I will face will be class timing, however, at most I have 3 classes in a single day. I should be able to work around them. I've had animals that spent most of their lives inside and also pets that freely roam outside. I understand every animal has their needs and routines. I make sure to inquire specific details from owners to make sure their pet feels safe.

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for many years of my adult life. I've regularly taken my friends and housemates dogs for runs, hikes, and even watched them for weekends at a time. I enjoy the company of dogs and have a natural affinity for them. I have flexible availability due to working part time from home. I live with my partner in a house that we have all to ourselves, close to many fun hiking and nature spots for dogs to enjoy! About: When I lived in my grandmothers house I would frequently house sit for relatives that rented out the bottom apartment. They have 2 senior dogs that needed a little extra attention and love, and a few house plants. I took care of them roughly 4 or 5 times over the years (not consecutively, so not quite an entire year of experience) so that their moms could go on vacation and recover from hospital stays. Since then, I have gone on to get a job at a Doggie Daycare facility out near Boston, where I am continuing to learn more about dog behavior and health. At my job we are trained on safety procedures & health concerns to be on the lookout for, and I have been trained to watch for body language changes. I am currently looking for something to fill my time during the beginning of the week. On weekends and later on in the week I commute to Boston for my job at the doggie daycare. I am also flexible with my weekend dates, so with enough notice I can move almost anything around. I can easily crate a dog if needed for safety of any kind. My position at the daycare is to constantly be on the lookout for changes in behavior and mood, so you can entrust that I will always have your pups safety as priority number one. I am also well versed in being able to reward the good behavior and ignore the bad (within reason) so as not to encourage attention seeking behavior, but still reward even the simplest well done tasks (sitting down/relaxing, playing safely).

About: I'm a lifelong dog and cat lover but started taking care of the dogs in my life (friends/colleagues' pets) in the last five years. I am gentle but firm when it comes to working with dogs and open to integrating any and all recommendations and norms from pet owners into how I care for their furry beasts! I am self-employed with a flexible schedule, I work from home about 50% of the time and am able to fit in dog care easily! In my own home, I have a large yard to walk dogs and will keep them on leash in order to keep them safe from the road. In a clients home, I am respectful of the space and abide by all safety norms and protocols with leashes, harnesses, collars, in-ground fences, shock collars if they're used etc.
