“We are so happy we found Abigail! She is communicative and extremely flexible- with scheduling and with our very different dogs. She is patient and responsive with our sick dog and also can manage our more wild dog, both with a calm gentleness. She clearly has a strong understanding of dogs as well as a deep love for them.”

About: I've loved animals forever and have cared for everything from a cockatiel to a chameleon, Great Pyrenees to Pekapoo. I currently have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat in my home with fenced area and walking trails. I'm currently homeschooling my children at our 10+ acre home with fenced area and walking trails. We have a light schedule and are home more often than away. We currently walk our Goldendoodle daily and pet care is our love, in addition to our responsibility. I have a fenced area and multiple indoor secure areas where animals can get healthy time in a safe home without overstimulation. I have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat who are the best of friends and are supportive to newcomers.
About: ive had a couple of dog growing up in my childhood a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo.. id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. our backyard is fenced! i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, drop off would be ideal, if your close enough to walk to i can do that too! weekends are the only time id be able to pick up your pooch my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!
About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. I know how to feed animals and care for them, can follow special instructions as I know they are important. As much as I would love to care for your fur baby at my home, I cannot.
About: I’ve had large dogs my whole life, 4 German shepherds as a kid and 2 Australian shepherds as an adult, and also several cats over the years. I have experience in dog grooming and veterinary assisting. I love animals and would love to help out with yours! I currently work Monday through Thursday so Fridays I am available for walks, drop ins and nail trimming or just a visit to break up the day for your pet while you’re gone. I have 3.5 acres of mowed lawn for my pups to run and play, and live their best life. I will do my best to ensure your animals are well cared for and exercised to keep them happy and content while you’re away.

“Hillaree was wonderful! She was quick to respond, easy to talk to and the dogs liked her (we have 3 so we have a pack to please). She walked our two larger young dogs like a pro and they enjoyed her company. Hillaree has an excellent understanding of dogs, she is conscientious and she is clearly a hard working lady. We will be booking again!”

“Danielle is the best dogwalker I've ever had. She's very attentive and knows each dogs special needs. They love her and go crazy when they hear her car in the driveway. I couldn't be happier!”

About: I’ve spent the last 5 years working in professional dog kennels in Berlin, MA, and I currently work at a local kennel here in western MA. During that time, I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and personality. From shy seniors who need gentle patience to high energy wiggle butts who never slow down. As a kennel supervisor, I’ve handled dogs with medical needs, administered medications safely and on schedule, and monitored behavior to keep every pup calm and comfortable. I’ve also been trusted to run the kennel independently, managing feeding routines, cleaning, enrichment, and safety from open to close. Now, I’m excited to bring that same level of professional, loving care into your home. Whether your dog needs a simple walk, extra patience, medication support, or someone who treats them like family, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved one walk, one wag, one kiss at a time. I just graduated from college and I’m working hard to save for my first home! This means I’m going to spend my days doing something I genuinely love, which is caring for pups. My schedule is flexible and I’m available almost every day of the week. I offer plenty of walking and drop‑in options throughout the week, and I’m always happy to work with you to find times that fit your dog’s routine. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. Availability: • Most weekdays: mornings, evenings, and some mid‑day slots depending on my kennel shifts • Weekends: flexible around my kennel shifts • Nearly every day available with advance request! Now that school is behind me, I’m able to take on more walks, drop‑ins, and extended care. I love what I do, and I’m committed to giving your pets reliable, loving, stress free care every single visit. <3 When I’m caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal, comforting, and stress‑free as possible. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. Here’s what you can expect: Routine‑Focused Care: I stick to your pet’s usual feeding, walking, play, and medication schedule so everything feels familiar and calm. Clear Instructions Welcomed: Written instructions, whether on paper or by text, are always helpful. I’m happy to follow detailed routines, special notes, or anything that keeps your pet comfortable. Open Communication: I keep communication easy and consistent. If anything comes up or you’d like updates, I’m always reachable and responsive. Photos Included: I send pictures and check ins so you can see how your furry family member is doing and feel connected while you’re away. Walks & Outdoor Time: I tailor every walk to what your dog enjoys, whether it’s relaxed neighborhood strolls, peaceful nature walks, or extra sniff‑time to burn off energy. Medication & Special Care: In my personal and professional experience, I am very comfortable with pets (cats or dogs!) who have medical conditions, including administering medications safely and on time (even insulin). Clean & Comfortable Spaces: I keep litter boxes clean, fluff up dog beds, refresh water bowls, tidy feeding areas, and make sure your pet’s space stays cozy and stress‑free. Behavior Awareness: With my kennel background, I’m trained to read body language and keep pets comfortable, especially shy, senior, or anxious animals. My goal is simple to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved until you’re home again.
About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I've grown up having a dog. My first dog was a black lab/German Shepard mix named Pretina. I would play with her, take her on walks, go hiking with her, and many more activities. My second family dog, Piper, was a yellow lab who I had since she was a puppy. I helped in her puppy training and have enjoyed all the previously mentioned activities with her as well. Many of my friends and extended family have also had dogs which I've enjoyed playing with and caring for. During my undergrad career, I petsat for my professor's yellow lab and thoroughly enjoyed caring for him when I was so far from my own dog. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.
About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Having a fenced in yard, it’s very helpful and handy to those pups with bladder issues to go in and out of the house as needed. My home was completely childproof when I moved in and it’s so far worked for dogs as well. Huge open field located next to the house available for dogs who like to run as well.

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for many years of my adult life. I've regularly taken my friends and housemates dogs for runs, hikes, and even watched them for weekends at a time. I enjoy the company of dogs and have a natural affinity for them. I have flexible availability due to working part time from home. I live with my partner in a house that we have all to ourselves, close to many fun hiking and nature spots for dogs to enjoy! Currently working part time and hoping to fill the rest of my time caring for your pets! I have rejoined rover recently to prioritize pet care at this time :) I have a safe and cozy home environment, and am very respectful while in others homes, always hoping to leave it a little better than I found. Either that be a little tidier, a kind note, or a snack, for either humans or pets!
About: When I lived in my grandmothers house I would frequently house sit for relatives that rented out the bottom apartment. They have 2 senior dogs that needed a little extra attention and love, and a few house plants. I took care of them roughly 4 or 5 times over the years (not consecutively, so not quite an entire year of experience) so that their moms could go on vacation and recover from hospital stays. Since then, I have gone on to get a job at a Doggie Daycare facility out near Boston, where I am continuing to learn more about dog behavior and health. At my job we are trained on safety procedures & health concerns to be on the lookout for, and I have been trained to watch for body language changes. I am currently looking for something to fill my time during the beginning of the week. On weekends and later on in the week I commute to Boston for my job at the doggie daycare. I am also flexible with my weekend dates, so with enough notice I can move almost anything around. I can easily crate a dog if needed for safety of any kind. My position at the daycare is to constantly be on the lookout for changes in behavior and mood, so you can entrust that I will always have your pups safety as priority number one. I am also well versed in being able to reward the good behavior and ignore the bad (within reason) so as not to encourage attention seeking behavior, but still reward even the simplest well done tasks (sitting down/relaxing, playing safely).
About: I'm a lifelong dog and cat lover but started taking care of the dogs in my life (friends/colleagues' pets) in the last five years. I am gentle but firm when it comes to working with dogs and open to integrating any and all recommendations and norms from pet owners into how I care for their furry beasts! I am self-employed with a flexible schedule, I work from home about 50% of the time and am able to fit in dog care easily! In my own home, I have a large yard to walk dogs and will keep them on leash in order to keep them safe from the road. In a clients home, I am respectful of the space and abide by all safety norms and protocols with leashes, harnesses, collars, in-ground fences, shock collars if they're used etc.
About: I have grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals and have been an adoring playmate for them all, except for one of my ferrets who only liked my mother! At an early age I began to provide animal care for people in my communities and have continued to gain experience ever since. From cats and dogs to horses and geckos, I've loved interacting with so many different personalities! I am a UMASS Student who is currently figuring out her summer work schedule. As of now weekdays are when I am most available but might still have availability on some weekends! Whenever I house/pet sit for a household, I take the instructions left for me very seriously and make sure to always return to them. I like to be in touch with the family of the pets I take care of so any anxieties or questions can be communicated effectively. I also like to inquire about the animal's demeanor and personality so I know what to expect. Overall, I try my absolute best to provide a comfy and fun environment!
About: Growing up my family had four beautiful and well trained dogs. I love to take them on long walks on the beach (literally), play, and care for them. I will care for your dog just like my own. Dog Walker in summer; Speech Therapist during the year 🐾 I will be in Western Mass all summer to walk/care for your pups! I’ll be road tripping this October and can walk dogs along the way! My current pup, Franki, is on a routine which is important to me. I will honor your dogs routine and needs while you are away. I grew up with 4 dogs, who all have completely different personalities, so I know how to be on your pups level 💕🐾
About: My first job as a kid was taking care of the neighborhood pets. I’ve always had a close bond with animals and have experience with rescue dogs, special needs pets, and senior dogs. I have an extra special place in my heart for pitties and you can know that your bully breed will be safe and respected when in my care. I’m currently working a flexible part-time schedule so I have plenty of availability. I am available for regular weekly walks and play sessions, and with the summer months coming up I am also available for vacation or temporary sitting opportunities. I enjoy physical activity, being outdoors, and hope to spend time hiking and playing outside with your dogs. I can lift 120lbs and hold a current wilderness first aid certification and can confidently respond to any pet emergencies that may occur.
About: I specialize in big dogs with big needs. I grew up with three huskies that required a lot of energy, so I’ve seen it all! I am my friends go-to dog sitter, and I’ve taken care of everything from 3 month old puppies to senior dogs. I volunteered at the SF Animal Shelter as a walker, and I love taking dogs to the park for fetch, runs, or just a good stroll. Overnights are O.K. and I have a truck so they can ride in the front with me if we go anywhere outside! I have patience and experience with aggressive dogs and high anxiety dogs as well. My schedule is wide open for the next two months, and I’m willing to stay over your house or have them with me. I’m often up late so I can also provide night time check-ins. I have a large unfenced yard and no pets of my own, so I can provide a calm environment for your dogs. I can drive a maximum of two dogs in my truck. I am respectful and careful to leave everyone’s house as I found it while providing detailed care and flexibility.
