About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! I have my own high energy pup, so daily hikes, play time and training fit right into our routine. I have a fenced in yard, and a pet friendly home. Although our dog does not use one, we have crates available. Walks can be on or off leash depending on your dogs skills anf your own comfortability.

About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.

About: For me, dog walks are more of a hobby than a job for me, so you can rest assured that I am here for your pup! I’m very active so I will be more than willing to run with your dog if that’s what they want. But I am also very patient and can stop every few feet and walk slower with the older dogs. About: When I lived in my grandmothers house I would frequently house sit for relatives that rented out the bottom apartment. They have 2 senior dogs that needed a little extra attention and love, and a few house plants. I took care of them roughly 4 or 5 times over the years (not consecutively, so not quite an entire year of experience) so that their moms could go on vacation and recover from hospital stays. Since then, I have gone on to get a job at a Doggie Daycare facility out near Boston, where I am continuing to learn more about dog behavior and health. At my job we are trained on safety procedures & health concerns to be on the lookout for, and I have been trained to watch for body language changes. I am currently looking for something to fill my time during the beginning of the week. On weekends and later on in the week I commute to Boston for my job at the doggie daycare. I am also flexible with my weekend dates, so with enough notice I can move almost anything around. I can easily crate a dog if needed for safety of any kind. My position at the daycare is to constantly be on the lookout for changes in behavior and mood, so you can entrust that I will always have your pups safety as priority number one. I am also well versed in being able to reward the good behavior and ignore the bad (within reason) so as not to encourage attention seeking behavior, but still reward even the simplest well done tasks (sitting down/relaxing, playing safely).
About: I’ve had cats my whole life other than when I was a student, so you’re getting experience above all else. I can drop in for feeds, play time, take them to vet appointments while you're at work or away, stay the night if they get separation anxiety, whatever they need! I trim and file her nails since I have a sofa but she’s such a sweet girl she knows not to!! About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. I’m currently working full-time and looking to do pet care on the side. My schedule can vary from week to week but we can figure out what works best for both of our schedules. I always respect a dog’s boundaries and never do anything that they are uncomfortable with. I am a very confident handler and that helps in building a trusting relationship with a new dog. Even if the dog immediately wants to be my best friend, I let them come to me and I let them set the tone and pace. The most important thing with any dog is patience and not forcing them into a situation that could be stressful for them. I have successfully trained two dogs that I adopted with behavioral issues including reactivity to other dogs & people, and resource guarding. I believe in positive reinforcement ALWAYS. If a correction is needed I use a firm but calm voice, and praise when the inappropriate behavior stops. You can rest assured that I will never do anything to harm your beloved pet.
About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! About: I’ve had large dogs my whole life, 4 German shepherds as a kid and 2 Australian shepherds as an adult, and also several cats over the years. About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. I know how to feed animals and care for them, can follow special instructions as I know they are important. As much as I would love to care for your fur baby at my home, I cannot.
About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. About: ive had a couple of dog growing up in my childhood a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo.. id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. our backyard is fenced! i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, drop off would be ideal, if your close enough to walk to i can do that too! weekends are the only time id be able to pick up your pooch my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!
About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.
About: I have grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals and have been an adoring playmate for them all, except for one of my ferrets who only liked my mother! At an early age I began to provide animal care for people in my communities and have continued to gain experience ever since. About: When I lived in my grandmothers house I would frequently house sit for relatives that rented out the bottom apartment. They have 2 senior dogs that needed a little extra attention and love, and a few house plants. I took care of them roughly 4 or 5 times over the years (not consecutively, so not quite an entire year of experience) so that their moms could go on vacation and recover from hospital stays. Since then, I have gone on to get a job at a Doggie Daycare facility out near Boston, where I am continuing to learn more about dog behavior and health. At my job we are trained on safety procedures & health concerns to be on the lookout for, and I have been trained to watch for body language changes. I am currently looking for something to fill my time during the beginning of the week. On weekends and later on in the week I commute to Boston for my job at the doggie daycare. I am also flexible with my weekend dates, so with enough notice I can move almost anything around. I can easily crate a dog if needed for safety of any kind. My position at the daycare is to constantly be on the lookout for changes in behavior and mood, so you can entrust that I will always have your pups safety as priority number one. I am also well versed in being able to reward the good behavior and ignore the bad (within reason) so as not to encourage attention seeking behavior, but still reward even the simplest well done tasks (sitting down/relaxing, playing safely).
About: I'm a lifelong dog and cat lover but started taking care of the dogs in my life (friends/colleagues' pets) in the last five years. I am gentle but firm when it comes to working with dogs and open to integrating any and all recommendations and norms from pet owners into how I care for their furry beasts! About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Having a fenced in yard, it’s very helpful and handy to those pups with bladder issues to go in and out of the house as needed. My home was completely childproof when I moved in and it’s so far worked for dogs as well. Huge open field located next to the house available for dogs who like to run as well.
