About: Every since I was smaller every animal I saw caught my eye. Ive always had a family pet and have dreamed of becoming a vet or be in the field working with animals. Taking care of animals is my specialty because of the love I have for them. No matter what size, breed, and type I will love them and make sure that they get the required attention they need. I consider myself the perfect candidate for taking care of animals because of past experiences like taking care of family pets when others were out of town and by the many animals I have encountered. Pets naturally click with me and I would love to aid them and make sure everything goes well. I am looking to get more experience with animals because I am aspiring to become a vet tech. It fits in my daily routine because I already have a routine with my pet. I care for my pets in my home by letting them outside, feeding them, and or playing with them outside when it’s not too hot. I always make sure they’re okay and keep an eye on them whether inside or out. So far I haven’t had an issue with dogs and even if there was I would know how to handle it safely.

I have four dogs that all needed special attention with various nuances and Faith was able to come in day one and take care of everything we needed exactly as I needed it. She is great with my crazy puppy and my fearful senior and the two in-between. I'm so glad we've found her and plan to book her regularly in the future as needed.

About: Let's be honest, dogs are curious, mischievous, playful little creatures who, most of the time, just want to let their zoomies out (Yes, even the seniors!) 🐾 But every dog has their own preferences, routines, and ways of communicating. They may not speak our language, but their body language, behavior, and little quirks speak for themselves. I believe caring for a dog means taking the time to understand these things. My goal isn't to keep your dog company. My goal is to learn what makes them comfortable, what their normal routine looks like, what they enjoy, and how I can adapt to lift their spirits while you're gone I've been dog sitting for family and friends since 2020, and I'm now hoping to extend that experience to more pet parents who could use an extra helping hand And because I know you'd probably like to know how your furry companion spent their time, I write little recaps at the end of each sitting! I work part-time at a juice and smoothie shop, which gives me a very open and flexible schedule for caring for pets. I’m able to adjust my time around your pet’s usual schedule and needs When caring for pets in a client’s home, I like to make them part of whatever I’m doing. If I’m working on my laptop, they can hang out with me, and I’ll take breaks to play and give them attention. I’ll find ways to keep them comfortable, happy, and involved throughout my visit

Katie is AMAZING with Max. I can honestly say I have never seen him this in love with a dog walker. The joy on that dog’s face is unbelievable. I’d love to tell you there’s some special trick she uses, but the truth is—it’s just who she is. I even recommended her to a colleague, and her dogs had the exact same experience. Katie is truly magical with dogs, and I don’t use that word lightly. There’s simply no better way to describe her. Don’t hesitate on this one. Your pet will be thrilled to go with her.

About: I’ve always been such a dog person, so getting to care for other people’s pets is something I genuinely enjoy. I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever named Sedona who honestly feels like my best friend, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you fully trust with your dog. I’m very patient, attentive, dependable, and loving when it comes to animals, and I truly enjoy spending time with them whether that’s going on walks, playing, giving them attention, or just keeping them company so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I know every dog has a different personality and routine, and I always try to care for them in a way that makes them feel safe, loved, and at home. My goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and cared for, and to treat your dog the same way I would want someone to treat Sedona. I currently have a pretty flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, care, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting during most weekdays and weekends. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. About: I used to have 3 dogs I helped take care of everyday before my family moved across the country. They were my best companions: a dachshund, yorkie, and italian greyhound chihuahua. I took care of them and countless amounts of dogs for family friends; mastiffs, white labs, black labs, and more chihuahuas. I currently am a part-time student at Arizona State, but I am free on Monday-Friday at any time, and some weekends as long as I’m informed or asked to pet-sit a week in advance. We have a small, fenced yard that I use for my own dogs that we occasionally play with them in. This is easy for me to use play time for in a clients home.

About: I'm from Costa Rica, but I've been in AZ for 10 years now. I've had dogs pretty much my whole life. Now I live in Tempe near the mall, and there's a park right by my apartment. My job's flexible, so I can give whatever care is needed. I love all breeds. I work from home for Bank of America, so I get off around 3 or 4, depending on daylight savings. I've got a play area in the living room with pee pads and toys for the pets, and I'll make sure to walk them when it's cooler in the morning and evening. About: I’ve lived with companion animals my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of who I am. I’ve also committed my career to animal protection, so I bring a lot of care, respect, and attentiveness to every animal I look after. I know how much it means to find someone you feel good about leaving your animals with, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care throughout the day. I’m able to build my day around their normal routine as much as possible, including meals, walks, outdoor breaks, playtime, rest, and companionship. My goal is to help them feel comfortable, settled, and well cared for while they’re away from home. For boarding, animals stay in a calm, single-story home with air conditioning and a fenced backyard. There are no other animals, no children, and no smoking in the home. I do my best to keep each animal’s routine consistent and make sure they have a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions around feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or preferences.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
