He loves to go on walks, but thinks he can handle more than he should, so I alternate walking him and pushing him in a stroller so that he can enjoy a couple of hours outside smelling, meeting other dogs, and satisfying his curiosity while getting a little exercise I prepare his meals, play and snuggle with him, and try to keep him cognitively challenged by filling his Kong with frozen treats and using his textured mats to provide him with his favorite Buddy Butter. I am currently a resigned teacher and have a flexible schedule. Adding in caring for additional pets is something I have wanted to do for a long time, but didn't have a schedule that allowed me to do this. Depending on what has been needed by my clients, I have been in charge of feeding pets, administering medications, playing and spending time with pets, and taking pets on walks (even if that means taking them on a stroller ride to get some fresh air).
