“Toni was great! She was very flexible with times, and my dog was very calm and relaxed when I returned home. She kept me updated on how things were going and is very nice!”

“This experience and Charlene exceeded my expectations. I hadn't used Rover before and was really nervous about leaving my home and loved pup in the care of someone else but I got lots of updates while I was away and when I got back, my dog dog was happy and relaxed. When I need a pet sitter again, I won't even hesitate to book Charlene.”

“This was the second time we had Bridgette watch our cat and home while we were away. We are delighted to have found her. Bridgette is trustworthy, responsible, and caring. Both times we returned to find our home and cat lovingly cared for.”

“Camille was great for Archer and Athena. We appreciated the consistency of photos and videos and her good communication. Our pets were in good hands and it gave us peace of mind knowing they were being taken care of well.”

“I was a little anxious leaving my dog for the first time. Especially with someone we didn’t know but Morgan was very patient with me. Explained the process and was willing to come by for a meet and greet before we booked and sent me pictures while I was away.”

“Our cat loved Ron! She is a handful and he did a great job of keeping her busy and happy. A real plus with Ron is that he is with your pet most of the day every day that you are gone.”

“Tonya did a great job taking care of all my fur and feather babies! I really appreciate how she kept my house clean as well. I would definitely recommend her and ask her to come again!”

“Karolina was a wonderful dog sitter! She took such great care of our dog, Hank, and kept him happy and comfortable while we were away. It was clear she really cared about him, and that gave us a lot of peace of mind. When we got home, everything was clean and just as we left it—she even tidied up before heading out. We will definitely be using Karolina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“This is the second time Veronica took care of my house and pets. This first time was only for a few days. This time it was for 2 weeks. My pets were well cared for and I got pictures of them regularly. Even my super timid cat who doesn’t do well with new people warmed up to Veronica and would sit with her. Seeing that made me feel that I’d made the best choice possible for a house/pet sitter. Veronica did everything I had asked her to do, including accommodating a contractor who did some repairs while I was gone. When I got home, the house was cleaner than when I left! This was an excellent experience.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals has always been a normal part of my life. I grew up around animals and have experience caring for dogs of many ages and personalities, including energetic puppies and older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I'm comfortable with the routines that come with good pet care: consistent feeding schedules, exercise, basic training reinforcement, and paying attention to changes in behavior that might mean a dog needs something. I have experience helping with puppy training basics life patience during walks, reinforcing commands, and keeping them mentally stimulated. I also understand that senior dogs sometimes need gentler exercise, more frequent bathroom breaks, and extra patience. In addition to dogs, I have experience working with animals in a farm environment, which taught me responsibility, consistency, and how important it is to pay attention to an animal's needs and body language. Because of that background, I'm calm, reliable, and comfortable around animals with different temperaments. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they're my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily life. I grew up around animals and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I enjoy spending time outdoors walking dogs, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. As a college student, I plan my schedule carefully, which allows me to stay organized and consistent with feeding times, walks, and check-ins. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, and spending time with them is something I look forward to throughout the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and kept in a calm environment where they feel secure. In a client's home, I carefully follow the pet's normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime so they experience as little disruption as possible. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure pets are feeling safe and happy. I respect my clients' homes and keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

“Trisha is a terrific dogsitter/house sitter. Our two small mini poodles were happy as clams when we got home, but they weren't needy which indicated that they received a lot of love and attention while we were gone. We received several messages and pics of our pups during the course of Trisha's stay. And, our house was spotless when we arrived. You couldn't ask for a better person to take care of your dogs and/or house.”

“Anika stayed at our house for a week to watch our dog and did an amazing job. Everything was taken care of, our dog was happy, and we had zero complaints. Would definitely book again.”

“Nikki did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs, Reuben and Frank! She was great with them, kept us updated with excellent communication, and sent us pictures while we were away, which we really appreciated. We came home to happy dogs and a clean, tidy house. We would absolutely recommend Nikki and would gladly have her watch Reuben and Frank again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 2,014 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bryant. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bryant walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bryant maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bryant choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
