About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life but just recently lost my dog to cancer. I would love to give some of my love and time to other peoples pets with the extra time I have now without him around to walk and cuddle. I have had experience taking care of new born pups as well as senior dogs, small and large! I was also raised with cats and had a cat of my own. I have experience taking care of parrots, snakes, chickens, and turtles!! I currently have 4 chickens. I’ve cared for friends and family’s pets staying at their home and doing daily walks/check-ins. I am professional and reliable and love all animals! ❤️ I work part time and I am a student at LSU. I have a flexible schedule and I am around the home a lot. I have a fenced in back yard and a great neighborhood to walk in! On the weekends I am home mostly doing homework or yard work so I am usually available and can give a lot of attention to your pet!! Also, I don’t go to LSU games so I am available to care for your pets while you enjoy the game! 🐯 I am very caring and conscientious. I am always thinking about how they are feeling and I feel happy when I know my pet or someone else’s pet is happy and safe. I am very safety oriented and will always make sure the pets have the best care they could have. I have a great big dog bed and a fenced in back yard. I am very clean and tidy and I am used to a dog that would eat anything that is out and about so I keep everything organized and away.

About: OPEN HOUSE HERE. Pets are welcome. Experienced with everything from puppy care to senior care. We have an in-home business to sharpen blades and scissors for local vets and groomers. Grooming service for pets 40lbs and under. Grooming experience for 20 years. Currently I work from home and have the time to take care of more pets than our own. Offering grooming services for pets under 40lbs. Pets have the run of the house. We have a large sunroom that overlooks the fenced yard and patio that can be accessed through the doggie door. Pets are allowed on the furniture and in the bed.

About: I’ve been actively involved in animal rescue since 2012, volunteering, fostering, and transporting animal with CAA/EBR shelter. I currently volunteer with Barking Wishes, a senior dog sanctuary in Central, where I spend time caring for and advocating for older dogs. I’m the proud pet parent of three rescue pets - two dogs (a 16 year old Lab mix and a 9 year old Beagle mix and a 9 year old Tortie cat. I’ve had both dogs and cats my entire life, giving me extensive experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. Now that I’m retired, I have a flexible, open schedule seven days a week, including most holidays. I’m happy to work closely with each client to meet their pet’s unique needs. I carefully follow all care instructions and provide regular updates, including at least one photo per day (or more if requested), so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Depending on the client, I send at least 1 picture a day and give updates as requested.

Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. When my own senior dogs required more care and medical attention, I pivoted to remote work with an in-home veterinary hospice service. In this role, I received emergency assessment training for many species in order to help pet parents ascertain if their pet needed emergency medical assistance. This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. He changed my life and my heart forever, not to mention my career path. Since Fizz, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two other senior / special needs rescue dogs of my own, as well as fostering numerous seniors and special needs dogs. Though Fizzgig and my other senior have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I am still blessed with my 15 year old foster-fail, Sissy - the sweetest pitbull you’ll ever meet. I provide pet care full time, so my availability is flexible enough to keep your pet’s routine. In other words, your pets come first! I will administer medications on schedule, and if needed, I can also expertly coordinate care with others, including a groomer or veterinarian. I'm also comfortable monitoring animals in recovery. For vacation care, I generally prefer to schedule a minimum of three potty breaks a day not only to ensure your pet’s comfort, exercise, and stimulation, but also to preserve the dignity of your home. SERVICES Generally, I petsit by referral only to ensure I work with animal lovers whose pets are well-cared for, but a couple of my senior pet clients have crossed the rainbow bridge so I have a little more availability than usual and decided to make a Rover profile. In addition to having a love for animals, I have a passion for veterinary medicine and have been in the veterinary field for the last 13 years. Owners will have confidence and peace of mind that I am very familiar with animal behavior and can quickly assess any situation. If you are looking for someone who is great with communication, updates, and will treat your pet like their own, then I would love to give your fur baby a safe place to stay while you're away! **We do have a fully fenced yard and someone here at all times. **Board and train also available upon request. Aside from working 2-3 half day shifts at the the vet clinic, I do work around my barn from home and have ample amount of time to spend with both my pets and yours to make sure they are not alone for hours on end. My home is often called puppy heaven by clients and friends! I have several dog-friendly pups of my own that are off-leash trained and enjoy running and playing in my fenced yard of several acres. If your pup needs any special accommodations, daily meds, or needs to be hand walked, etc., health and safety is priority and I am happy to go above and beyond to make them feel at home!

About: I’ve fallen in love with ALL animals since I was a kid. Since then i’ve watched all sizes and breeds of dogs with all sorts of different personalities and has loved every single moment of it! I am currently unemployed and looking to start into the pet care business. I can sit and board at all times and any days as needed. About: I've been taking care of dogs since my freshman year of highschool. I am intuitive and caring. I work from home and can keep a constant watch on your furry friends. Work from home between 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM. I am off Wednesday and Sunday. I normally take my dogs out three times a day at least but four is the regular. I care for my furry friends. Both of my dogs are rescues and i've taught them many commands. I have experience with male dogs that are not neutered as well as female dogs in heat.
