About: I have 20 years of hands-on animal care experience, and I actually love being around them, and putting my skills to good use. They bring me great joy, and I try to reciprocate that. I would love to work locally so I am able to work my own hours around my grandsons educational needs, while providing income by doing what I love. I have my Veterinary Assistant certificate, and have experience in applying some medications. I am aware of the drastic New England temperatures, as I've lived her all my life, and I take that into great consideration when caring for the animals entrusted in my care. I will send you pictures and updates, you can call to check in at anytime at all. I have always practiced safety first when working with animals. I truly love them all, and will take necessary precautions to prevent anything negative happening. I make them feel at home while in my care, they are allowed free range of my home. I know some dogs can go unleashed, but I do NOT let them off leash while in my care. I apologize for this, but I will walk them on a leash as many times as they like!

About: I have two labs, one is six years old and the second is six months old. People have trusted me to take care of their dogs for years and I love being around animals. Guest pets enjoy supervised play time and leashed walks on our 100 acres and trails. Inside our home guest pets get full roam to hang, unlimited toys, approved treats and total pampering. About: As a pet lover for my entire life, I am very open to who I will take in. I have taken care of my family’s dogs and cats. As well as friends’ pets as well. Not just our small pets. I worked on my family farm in the middle of Maine near Dover-Foxcroft. That included Horses, chickens, occasionally some cows and donkeys. I work minimal hours remotely and enjoy the novelty and companionship that Rover clients offer my lifestyle. This means I have a lot of time and attention to devote to your pet when you cannnot. About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.
